hapabapa Following Walmart's ( WMT ) fourth-quarter earnings report, Amazon ( AMZN ) officially surpassed the Bentonville retail giant as the world's largest company by revenue. Walmart ( WMT ) had topped the Fortune 500 list for 13 straight years. Amazon ( AMZN ) reported $716.9B in revenue for fiscal year 2025, narrowly beating Walmart's $713.2B for the 12 months ending January 31, 2026. Of course, Amazon ( AMZN ) has been on the hunt for the top spot ever since the AWS business began to accelerate and third-party seller service revenue continued to grow. For perspective, in 2010 Amazon's ( AMZN ) revenue was just $34.2B vs. Walmart's ( WMT ) $422B. Seeking Alpha Jeff Bezos founded Amazon on July 5, 1994, in a garage in Bellevue, Washington, after leaving Wall Street to pursue an idea to sell books online. He and his then-wife MacKenzie wrote the business plan during a cross-country drive from New York to Seattle, chosen for its tech talent and proximity to book distributors. Originally named "Cadabra," the company was soon renamed Amazon ( AMZN ) because the original sounded like “cadaver.” Amazon launched its website in July 1995, quickly selling books across all 50 states and dozens of countries. Andrzej Rostek/iStock via Getty Images Merck said that new phase 3 results on Enflonsia (clesrovimab) showed that the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) treatment was safe and effective in infants and children under two years of age at increased risk in season two of the virus. Data from the SMART trial found that monoclonal antibody (mAb) serum concentrations in these children and infants were similar to those seen in healthy infants in a pivotal trial. Those enrolled in the SMART trial were all at increased risk of RSV, with almost all having chronic lung disease or congenital heart disease. They were administered Enflonsia at the start of their second RSV season. " These new findings from SMART demonstrate the potential of Enflonsia to help protect these vulnerable children, who may require an additional dose for their second RSV season," noted Paolo Manzoni , an investigator for the SMART trial. Public started in 2019 as the first broker-dealer to introduce commission-free, real-time fractional investing. It’s since become one of the largest multi-asset investing platforms for long-term investors. They didn’t get there by following the crowd. Since its inception, Public has stayed ahead of the curve by offering people new ways to grow their wealth. They were one of the earliest brokerages to offer crypto investments, and in 2024 Public became the first to offer rebates on options trading, sharing up to 50% of its revenue directly with customers. Their latest innovation, Generated Assets, allows investors to turn any idea into an investable index with AI. Think of it like an ETF with infinite possibilities — completely customizable and based on your thesis, not someone else’s. Here’s how it works: you type in an idea like “AI-powered supply-chain companies with positive free cash flow” or defense tech companies growing revenue 25% year-over-year.” Public’s AI then dispatches a swarm of agents that scan every single US stock, evaluates them, and it builds a custom index around your thesis. What really stands out is how clearly it explains why each stock is included. And before you invest, you can even backtest your idea against the S&P 500, so you’re making decisions with real context—not just guessing. Here are the four stocks to watch on the day: Hims & Hers Health ( HIMS ) rose 3.41% in premarket trade after announcing an agreement to acquire Eucalyptus, an Australian digital health provider, in a cash and stock transaction valued at up to $1.15B. Sydney-based Eucalyptus, which has an annual revenue run rate exceeding $450M, is Australia’s largest digital health provider. Domino’s Pizza ( DPZ ) slipped 0.26% before the opening bell as Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) added to its position in the fourth quarter. The latest 13F filing from the Omaha-based company showed a roughly 9.9% economic stake worth a bit over 1% of its total portfolio. Walmart ( WMT ) fell 2.20% in early action as investors assessed the retail giant’s fourth-quarter earnings report covering the holiday period. Comparable sales in the U.S. rose 4.6% to match the consensus estimate, with transactions 2.6% higher and the average ticket up 2.0% compared to a year ago. Phillips 66 ( PSX ) gained 2.64% in premarket trade after Reuters reported the firm and Citgo Petroleum are seeking to buy heavy crude directly from Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA starting in April. The move would maximize profits by bypassing purchases through producer Chevron (CVX) or trading houses. What happens next hardly matters: the mystique and awe surrounding the royals had been irretrievably shattered. The former prince’s arrest must change everything The arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is a seismic moment for the royal family as well as for himself. On the one hand, it is hard to believe any greater harm can befall the family from weeks of drip-feed from the US Department of Justice’s Epstein files. On the other, a royal arrest of this sort is unprecedented. Enough is already in the public domain to indicate that police believe that there must be a case to answer to the charge of misconduct in public office. King Charles, who apparently was not warned in advance that his brother was to be arrested, has been scrupulous in his response. “The law must take its course,” he said, offering prosecutors “full and wholehearted support and cooperation”. Whatever happens now, a line has been crossed in the life of the nation. A once exalted royal, facing serious judicial investigation by authorites acting on behalf of the citizenry. Stripped of status and finery, he faces the spotlight as would any other habitant of these isles. One cannot know the outcome, but just this arrest means things can never be the same. RUNSTUDIO/DigitalVision via Getty Images Nu Skin ( NUS ) is a potential turnaround stock, but its turnaround might not be complete in 2026. This MLM sells skincare products, and like other MLMs, its market has been shrinking. As a result, Nu Skin is trading at very low multiples on many metrics right now. Meanwhile, the company’s management plans to bring back growth by expanding into India and introducing a new device, Prysm iO. Nu Skin’s 2025 results don’t look that great, but the company has higher hopes for 2026. I think Nu Skin’s turnaround might still take more time than that, but its current valuation is so low that it’s worth considering anyway. For Q4 2025 , Nu Skin reported that its revenue fell 16.9% to $370.3 million. This GAAP result isn’t as bad as it looks, although it’s still bad. Nu Skin sold its Mavely influencer platform to Later for $250 million in January 2025. So, if you don’t include this deal, Nu Skin’s revenue would be down 10.4% in the fourth quarter instead. Additionally, Nu Skin reported GAAP EPS of $0.29 for the quarter, which was a 22% drop compared to its adjusted EPS of $0.37 in Q4 2024. Nu Skin’s main business, using MLM to sell skincare products, may now be in permanent decline. This is partially because social media networks don’t like MLMs and may ban Nu Skin’s marketers from their platforms. Additionally, Nu Skin’s products are expensive in comparison to similar skincare products that are available at other stores, so the company could also lose market share to other personal care product companies. So, the company needs to come up with new products to stabilize its revenue, and its Prysm iO devices provide one way to do that. Nu Skin May Earn Subscription Fees from Prysm iO That Aren’t Included in Its Guidance Nu Skin’s Prysm iO device is a scanner that measures carotenoid levels in the skin. A Nu Skin affiliate can use it to check if a client is eating a high-quality diet with enough fruits and vegetables by measuring colors in...

Sundry Photography Investors may not have reacted kindly to Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) results and guidance, but Citi said they were nothing but a “short-term speed bump,” and the story is still intact. “A noisy print off CYBR+Chronosphere closing was largely expected, but we anticipate stock volatility vis-a-vis muted organic NGS ARR upside (NNARR decelerated to 11% YoY), compounding frustration with subs/support stagnation (mild slip to 13% YoY; segment GMs tad light, directionally compressing since 2HFY25) and meek/mixed optics of forward guide,” analyst Fatima Boolani wrote in a note to clients. “Though PANW reaffirmed FY-organic/underlying growth (F3Q organic ~in-line w/Consensus) and offered transparent M&A-influenced impact on ARR/RPO/revs, we believe the raise is being perceived as insufficient, with restrained (implied) inflection in the 'core' also irking and still heavily F4Q-weighted. We acknowledge the moving model-parts and validity of integration/execution risks, but view these as transient dynamics PANW can broadly execute through/upside-against, where the magnitude of multiple de-rating appears incongruent with PANW’s multi-category cyber-dominance, distribution/incumbency/proprietary data moat, and monetizable 'Security-for-AI' portfolio.” Boolani reiterated her Buy rating on Palo Alto after the results but lowered her price target to $210 from $235 to reflect a lower earnings multiple. Bill Gates Pulls Out Of High-Profile Indian AI Summit As Epstein Fallout Accelerates The Epstein fallout continues to spread by the day, with billionaire Les Wexner saying he was " conned " by Jeffrey Epstein and insisting he "did nothing wrong" earlier this week, and with Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) being arrested on Thursday morning over allegations that he shared confidential government trade documents with Epstein. Now, Bill Gates has pulled out of a keynote speech at a high-profile global AI summit in India amid the accelerating Epstein fallout. pic.twitter.com/tGJtEQS97E — Gates Foundation India (@BMGFIndia) February 19, 2026 " After careful consideration, and to ensure the focus remains on the AI Summit's key priorities, Mr. Gates will not be delivering his keynote address. The Gates Foundation will be represented by Ankur Vora, President of Africa and India Offices, who will speak later today at the Summit," Gates Foundation India wrote on X. The $86 billion philanthropic body's last-minute decision to yank Gates out of a keynote address follows the billionaire's involvement with Epstein for several years. Arkadiusz Warguła/iStock via Getty Images Medical Properties Trust ( MPT ) stock jumped 5.2% in Thursday premarket trading after the hospital REIT's Q4 results beat Wall Street expectations as the bankruptcy of what was its largest tenant recedes into the past. "With our recently transitioned portfolio continuing to ramp cash rents as expected and Prospect’s bankruptcy process largely behind us, we are squarely focused on continuing to strengthen our balance sheet and position our platform for future growth," said Chairman, President, and CEO Edward K. Aldag, Jr. Q4 normalized FFO per share of $0.18, topping the average analyst estimate of $0.15, rose from $0.13 in Q3 and was unchanged from $0.18 in Q4 2024. The company said it has almost entirely resolved its exposure to Prospect Medical Holdings' in-court restructuring. In Q4 2025, it entered into a 15-year lease for its California hospitals previously leased to Prospect, which is expected to result in stabilized annual cash rent of $45M in December 2026, in line with expected contractual rent from Prospect prior to its restructuring process. Two hospitals in Connecticut were sold in January 2026, leaving only one MPT-owned facility that is under binding agreement and is expected to sell in Q1 2026. Q4 total revenue of $270.3M, exceeding the $244.7M consensus, increased from $237.5M in the previous quarter and $231.8M in the year-ago period. Cash collections from new tenants rose to $22M, as expected from Q3’s $16M, or 96% of scheduled collections. Q4 expenses of $233.7M declined from $246.1M in Q3 and increased from $204.7M in Q4 2024. As of Dec. 31, 2025, MPT’s portfolio included 384 properties and ~39,000 licensed beds leased to or mortgaged by 52 hospital operating companies across the U.S., as well as in the U.K., Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Finland, Colombia, Italy, and Portugal.
