A Crew Dragon spacecraft docked with the International Space Station on Valentine's Day, and astronauts popped open the hatches at 5:14 pm ET (22:14 UTC) on Saturday evening. The arrival of four new astronauts as part of the Crew 12 mission—Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway of NASA, Sophie Adenot of the European Space Agency, and Andrey Fedyaev of Roscosmos—brought the total number of crew on board the space station to seven, giving the US space agency a full complement in orbit. The number of astronauts living on board the station fluctuates over time, depending on crew rotations and private astronauts making shorter stays, but since Crew Dragon began flying regularly at the end of 2020 NASA has sought to keep at least four "USOS" astronauts on board at all time. This stands for "US Orbital Segment," and means astronauts from the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan who are trained to operate the areas of the station maintained by NASA and its partner astronauts. A few of the ministers told him that wasn’t the case, pointing the finger solely at officials with the financial regulator and stock exchange who had failed to address MSCI Inc. ’s concerns about investability and market transparency, the people said. Fire them all, Prabowo retorted, according to people familiar with the conversations. The heads of the Financial Services Authority and the Indonesia Stock Exchange both resigned in the aftermath. Flooding the zone Alphabet Inc.’s massively oversubscribed mega debt sale this week raised $32 billion in less than 24 hours and instantly added new contours to the corporate bond market. Consider this: The $100 billion in orders for the seven-part US offering was among the strongest ever for a new corporate issue. The portion of the issue denominated in British pounds instantly made Alphabet one of the largest issuers of sterling investment-grade debt, and it included an ultra rare 100-year bond , the first from any tech industry borrower since Motorola in 1997. The 5.65% coupon bond due in 2056 was the most actively traded US investment-grade bond on Wednesday and Thursday this week. And now consider that Alphabet, the parent of Google, is just one of the so-called hyperscalers amassing the financial wherewithal to fund its artificial-intelligence ambitions. The industry’s debt binge will likely have widespread effects. It could change the composition of credit indexes, leave passive funds exposed and make spreads a less powerful driver of overall performance given the high credit ratings and low risk premiums for the issuers involved. Leaders in Tech ( XLK ) and the Mag 7 have lagged, while Staples ( XLP ) and Energy ( XLE ) have led. Bad earnings have been punished severely and good earnings have been sold. Last week, even good inflation news was sold. However, red flags are always present, and it's important to see that markets are actually acting on them. Recently, the technicals have threatened to roll over, but every bearish move has been "saved" to keep the S&P500 chopping slowly higher. That behaviour may have changed last week. This article looks at a potentially bearish shift in the technicals and what may happen next. S&P 500 Monthly February is the second worst month for the S&P500, and the second half tends to be worse than the first. That doesn't bode too well since there is already a 1.5% loss for the month and last week closed near the January lows. I still wouldn't say there is a compelling monthly reversal but there is a lower high and lower low. Furthermore, not every major reversal comes with a solid monthly signal - 2025, 2022 and 2020 all had one, but 2007 and 2000 did not. SPX Monthly (Tradingview) The rally has reached 7002 at the channel highs and just above the major target of 6958 which is the 161% Fibonacci extension of the H1 drop . The next target after 6958 is 7490, which is a measured move similar in size to the 2020-2022 rally and the 2022-2025. I doubt it gets that high, at least in this phase of the trend in 2026. The January low of 6789 is initial support, then 6720, and the October/November lows of 6521-50. A DeMARK exhaustion count is on bar 9 (of 9) in February. This signal has led to a drop of at least 10% on the last 3 occasions. As an aside, February has to close above 6840 (the close 4 bars previously) to complete the signal. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Sunday afternoon that Russian air defenses intercepted 13 drones headed for the capital , as regional officials reported a sweeping wave of UAV attacks across western Russia - including hundreds of UAVs in total.
