Yet all PI got was a 24.6% drop in the stock the day after the report’s release. However, the latest decline also means the price to get in on PI has dropped significantly, which some may find enticing with the stock bouncing off of the lows post-earnings, although there is an argument to be made that the possibility PI could still go lower should not be discounted. PI is not for the faint of heart, as it is a very volatile stock A previous article from October 2024 written by myself mentioned how PI had loads of potential in terms of growth, something reaffirmed by quarterly results released shortly before. On the other hand, the article noted that it was very expensive to get in on all that potential because of the huge rally in the stock in the preceding months that caused PI to quadruple in market cap. Accordingly, I was neither short nor long, but instead opted to rate PI a hold in the article.
