It’s a potentially lucrative market — but also one with growing competition. Apple had planned to launch those features with iOS 26.4, which is set to launch in March, but “​​testing uncovered fresh problems with the software,” according to Bloomberg. Apple has apparently told engineers to use iOS 26.5, scheduled for May, to test new Siri features instead. For iOS 26.5, Apple is also testing a Perplexity-like web search tool and custom image generation, though they’ve been tested with iOS 26.4, too, Bloomberg says. Uber Eats announced a new AI feature, “Cart Assistant,” on Wednesday designed to fill customers’ grocery carts faster and easier. The beta version is now available in the app.​ To use the new chatbot, users search for a grocery store in the Uber Eats app and tap the purple Cart Assistant icon on the store’s page to begin shopping. Customers can enter a list or upload an image of one, and Cart Assistant will automatically add the necessary items to their basket. This includes photos of handwritten lists or screenshots of recipes and their ingredients. Sales headwinds connected to a confidential contract are causing some investors to abandon Parsons stock. Parsons (PSN 14.19%) stock got hit with a big pullback on Wednesday following the release of the company's fourth-quarter report. The government services and defense-technologies company's share price closed out the daily session down 14.4%. Parsons published its Q4 report before the market opened this morning, and investors weren't happy with the print. In addition to sales and earnings that missed Wall Street's targets, the company's forward guidance didn't do enough to assuage investors' concerns. Parsons Q4 report was defined by disappointments For last year's fourth quarter, Parsons reported non-GAAP (adjusted) earnings per share of $0.75 and sales of $1.6 billion. Earnings for the period came in $0.04 per share lower than the average analyst estimate, and sales missed the target by $70 million. Overall revenue was down 8% year over year, and organic revenue was down 10%. While the company saw growth for space and defense industry services, transportation, and critical infrastructure protection, sales volume among one of its key confidential contracts softened. Excluding the impact from that confidential contract, sales were up 11% year over year in the period and 8% on an organic basis.
