In the fourth quarter, the fund allocated a total of $69M to two prominent AI-focused stocks: Broadcom ( AVGO ) and Tesla ( TSLA ). Soros opened a new stake in Broadcom, acquiring 102,379 shares valued at roughly $35.4M. The firm also purchased 56,661 shares of Tesla for about $25.5M, implying an average purchase price of ~$450 per share. Amazon ( AMZN ) remains the largest holding with 2.36M shares worth $469M, and purchased 133K AMZN shares in the fourth quarter. Soros more than doubled its shares in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) with a purchase of 214k shares. The holding is currently worth $128M. The number of shares held in NVIDIA ( NVDA ) increased by 118K to 666k, up 21.5% year-over-year. The global asset manager and family office added ~161K shares of Microsoft's ( MSFT ) common stock and ~66K shares of Apple's ( AAPL ) common stock to its portfolio. Other notable stake increases were made in Exelon ( EXC ) (~488K shares), Electronic Arts ( EA ) (~318K shares), Atlassian ( TEAM ) (~216K class A shares), Uber Technologies ( UBER ) (~119K shares), and Salesforce ( CRM ) (~55K shares), the fund disclosed in its latest 13F filing .
