IMAX said it will show the Miami, Monaco, Silverstone, Monza, and Austin races and will deliver a "dynamic viewing experience of Formula 1." The partnership between Apple TV, the racing league, and the premium movie theater company builds on the success of F1: The Movie , which was shot entirely using IMAX-certified digital cameras. The movie earned $97.6M in IMAX worldwide and has been nominated for "Best Picture" for the upcoming 98th Academy Awards. "Apple TV and Joe Kosinski’s brilliant F1: The Movie proved beyond a doubt that the speed, precision, and artistry of Formula 1 translate beautifully to the IMAX Experience, and we are very excited to further our collaboration with Apple and offer fans more of what resonated so deeply with that film by presenting live F1 races to them in IMAX," IMAX's content chief Jonathan Fischer said. Source: Bloomberg “Improving affordability conditions have yet to induce more buying activity,” NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun said in a statement. Yun cautioned that the mix of lower mortgage rates and a still-tight supply of houses could cause home prices to start rising quickly again, assuming the lower borrowing costs encourage more buyers. “This will put increasing pressure on affordability, which is why it is critical to increase supply by building more homes,” Yun said. Weather could have impacted sales as sales were weakest in the NorthEast and South - where the winter storm was most impactful. Pending-homes sales tend to be a leading indicator for previously owned homes, as houses typically go under contract a month or two before they’re sold. Tyler Durden Thu, 02/19/2026 - 10:10

pandemin/iStock via Getty Images By Parshwa Turakhiya WTI crude oil ( CL1:COM ) climbed 1.74% to $66.06 per barrel, extending the prior session’s more than 4% rally, the strongest single-day advance since late October. The rebound marks a sharp reversal from recent consolidation and underscores how quickly geopolitical risk can override concerns about oversupply. The latest gains come as tensions between the U.S. and Iran intensify, injecting a renewed risk premium into global energy markets. Traders who had focused on rising inventories and surplus projections are now recalibrating positions amid the prospect of supply disruptions in the Middle East. Technical breakout shifts short-term momentum From a chart perspective, crude oil has staged a decisive breakout. Prices have moved above the 50-day EMA at $63.17, the 100-day EMA at $61.53, the 200-day EMA at $62.68 and the longer 200-day MA at $61.25. That cluster, which had acted as resistance for weeks, now sits firmly below the market. USOIL price dynamics (Source: TradingView) Bollinger Bands show a middle line at $63.44 and an upper band near $66.7, placing crude close to the top of its recent range. The recovery follows a pullback to the $61-62 zone after February’s rally from December lows near $55 to a high around $67. Momentum indicators have turned higher, confirming the shift in sentiment. Immediate resistance lies near $66.70 and then $67-68, the February peak. A sustained break above those levels could open the path toward $70. On the downside, the $63-64 area now represents first support, with stronger backing at $61-62. Geopolitical risks overshadow inventory concerns The fundamental backdrop has also turned more supportive. Reports indicate that U.S. military planning regarding Iran could involve a prolonged campaign if diplomacy fails. Israel has publicly advocated tougher measures, while U.S. officials have warned that military options remain on the table. Although Iran has described talks as havin...

Associate directors and senior managers at the consultancy giant were informed that "regular adoption" of AI would be required to progress to leadership positions, according to an FT report. An Accenture spokesperson told CNBC the report was correct. They added: "Our strategy is to be the reinvention partner of choice for our clients and to be the most client-focused, AI-enabled, great place to work. "That requires the adoption of the latest tools and technologies to serve our clients most effectively." The spokesperson also confirmed that, as the FT reported, the policy had been set out in an internal email. "Use of our key tools will be a visible input to talent discussions," the email said, according to the FT. The FT reported that Accenture staff in 12 European countries were unaffected by the policy, as well as staff working in the division that handles U.S. government contracts. watch now VIDEO 2:50 02:50 Accenture CEO on AI: It's 'going to change how we all live day to day' Worldwide Exchange In September, Accenture outlined a restructuring strategy in which it said staff who are unable to reskill on AI would eventually be laid off. JHVEPhoto/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Last October 2025, Bausch Health Companies Inc. ( BHC ) jumped by 1% after it posted third quarter results . This time, the fourth-quarter bottom line missed expectations. Both its revenue for Q4 and revenue guidance for 2026 exceeded consensus. However, the earnings per share loss is below the expectations of a profit. How should investors interpret BHC’s results? Fourth Quarter 2025 Results BHC lost $0.30 in earnings per share , compared to the Street’s expectation of a $0.42 EPS. The GAAP net loss of $112 million is down from $157 million posted last year. Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. Appio said in the press release that BHC achieved eleven straight quarters of Y/Y revenue and adjusted EBITDA growth. He attributed the results to the team’s “commercial rigor and operational excellence.” Appio pointed to its newly acquired aesthetics distribution business in China to expand the company’s geographical reach. In December, BHC’s Solta Medical unit acquired Wuhan Shibo Zhenmei Technology . The acquisition leverages its existing distribution network. As a result, Solta Medical gained access to a large customer base. Solta Medical Senior Vice President Jiny Kim said that the Shibo group played a role in Thermage’s success in China for over a decade. By holding BHC stock, investors gain exposure to advances in global aesthetics. In the revenue breakdown table below, Solta Medical revenue fell by 1% Y/Y to $137 million. This accounted for 4.9% of BHC’s total revenue. Seeking Alpha Solta Medical faced the anticipated one-time event of acquiring Shibo. That dragged results lower. For the full year 2025, South Korea’s strong markets lifted the unit’s performance. Total revenue increased by 9%. After excluding $59 million from the impact of foreign exchange, $1 million from acquisitions, and $17 million from divestitures and discontinued operations, revenue increased by 6% organically year-on-year. Retirees received a bump in their monthly Social Security payments in January, thanks to the annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA). The 2.8% increase added about $55 to the average benefit. Many seniors, however, may already be looking forward to how much more they could receive next year. While it's still early, analysts at The Senior Citizens League and Congressional Budget Office (CBO), along with independent analyst Mary Johnson, have already updated their 2027 COLA models to include the most recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Their expectations for next year's COLA might be surprising. Image source: Getty Images. Continue reading
