Dismissals follow revelations that FBI subpoenaed records of Patel and Susie Wiles before Trump returned to office At least 10 FBI employees connected to an investigation of Donald Trump have reportedly been dismissed following revelations that the agency subpoenaed personal records of current FBI director Kash Patel and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles in the years before Trump returned to office. The ousters, reported by CBS News and CNN , were linked to the federal investigation led by former justice department special counsel Jack Smith into Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents that were found at his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort after his first term. Just_Super/iStock via Getty Images Intro Ceres Power ( CPWHF ) ( CRPHY ) is a British technology company active in the solid oxide fuel cell market. With its origins as a spinoff of Imperial College London in 2001, it IPOed in 2014. The stock peaked in 2021 and collapsed along with the sector when the Hydrogen bubble burst. Still, recent developments in the data center offer some signs of hope. Ceres’s solid Oxide fuel cells have been selected by manufacturing partners to electrify data centers in Asia. With a cost-cutting plan in place that is leading to a leaner structure, a solid cash balance sheet, and upside potential as shown by a DCF model, I initiate coverage with a buy rating. Business Model Ceres Power's business model is asset-light, and it patents its IPs for manufacturers of systems with end use in electrification or hydrogen production via electrolysers. The fuel cell technology is based on solid oxide and can use several gases as feedstock, such as methane, methanol, or hydrogen. Its efficiency is elevated to 65% and 85% in combined heat mode, nearly 20% above that of traditional gas turbines. The cell is operating at a high temperature, above 600 °C, and allows electrochemical reactions, not combustion. As a consequence, carbon emissions are quite low, and no toxic substances or noise are emitted. The firm estimates it faces a total addressable market of 22 GW by 2030, with 40% of this coming from on-site data center electricity generation. While this may seem a bit ambitious, we cannot help but notice that its partners, Doosan, Weichai, and Delta, all intend to launch solid oxide energy servers. In July 2026, Ceres Power announced that its cornerstone partner, Doosan, would begin mass-manufacturing data center energy servers for applications in South Korea with an initial 50MW production line. Later on, in November 2025, the Chinese company Weichai signed a manufacturing license with Ceres to build stationary power systems. Finally, a fundamental ad...
