ChiccoDodiFC/iStock Editorial via Getty Images PepsiCo ( PEP ) has the Poppi brand lined up to be its next beverage star as the strong growth for the brand it acquired about a year ago continues. Poppi is a prebiotic soda brand founded by husband‑and‑wife team Allison and Stephen Ellsworth, who began by bottling an apple-cider-vinegar–based beverage in their kitchen and selling it at a Dallas farmers’ market before rebranding to Poppi and scaling into retail and national distribution. Early traction came from Whole Foods placement, a 2018 Shark Tank appearance, and subsequent venture funding. Poppi delivered explosive topline growth from 2020 to 2024 as distribution expanded to thousands of retail doors, including Whole Foods ( AMZN ), Target ( TGT ), Walmart ( WMT ), CVS, and other mass and natural channels across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. PepsiCo ( PEP ) announced its $1.95B acquisition of Poppi on March 17, 2025. The deal was framed as a way for the company to advance its “positive choices” growth strategy by adding a differentiated functional soda positioned around gut health and low sugar to its beverage portfolio. The brand has already benefited from PepsiCo's ( PEP ) scale in manufacturing, distribution, and marketing. On March 5, PepsiCo ( PEP ) will launch Poppi sales in the U.K. at selected Tesco ( TSCDF ) stores & Pret A Manger nationwide before rolling out more widely later in the year. The UK will be the brand's second international market after Canada. Before Poppi , PepsiCo’s ( PEP ) last major success with a new beverage brand was bubly , its internally developed flavored sparkling water line launched in 2018. However, PepsiCo ( PEP ) does benefit through its distribution deal with Celsius Holdings ( CELH ) for its namesake brand and the red-hot Alani Nu brand. More on Pepsico PepsiCo, Inc. Richard Drury/DigitalVision via Getty Images Introduction When it comes to Omnicom Group ( OMC ), I've been bullish on the stock for close to a year. Impacted by the high-interest rate environment, OMC has been going through massive changes, which I think will benefit the company long-term. Despite the price rally after their buyback announcement, the advertising giant still trades at less than 8x earnings, presenting an attractive buying opportunity for long-term investors. You also get paid an attractive yield of over 4% while you wait. At the current price, I believe Omnicom Group is a great value play that's likely to see at least $100 per share by the end of 2026. In this article, I discuss their latest earnings, fundamentals, and why I believe this stock is a bargain at the current price. Previous Buy Thesis I last covered Omnicom Group back in October in an article titled: A Cheap, AI Beneficiary With A 4%+ Yield & Massive Upside Potential. At a multiple of less than 10x and a yield over 4%, OMC offered strong upside to their price target of $148.65 at the end of 2027. Since then, the stock has been somewhat volatile but is up modestly since my last coverage. The S&P ( SP500 ) has also been volatile but is up close to 2%, compared to 1.56% for OMC. During their Q3 earnings, OMC reported mixed results with a revenue miss due to declines in some of their segments. But their anticipated merger, expected to create synergies, strong balance sheet, and a well-covered dividend, were reasons I remained bullish. Seeking Alpha Another Mixed Report, But Solid YoY Growth Omnicom Group reported their Q4 earnings and saw a sizable miss on their bottom line. EPS amounted to $2.59, missing analysts' estimates by $0.35. Revenue amounted to $5.53 billion. Despite the sizable miss, both EPS & revenue managed to see growth year-over-year. EPS grew from $2.41 the year prior, while revenue was up from $4.32 billion. In total, EPS grew from $8.06 to $8.65, while their top line incr...

grandriver/iStock via Getty Images Introduction If you have been a regular reader of mine for more than a couple of weeks, it may not come as a surprise when I say that I’m extremely bullish on LandBridge ( LB ) and Texas Pacific Land ( TPL ), which are the only stock-listed companies with substantial oil and gas royalties, water rights, and surface rights in the Permian Basin. These two stocks have been included in some way in countless articles in recent years. That wasn’t to push others into these assets, but to get my point across of just how bullish I am on the massive opportunities that come with owning land in America’s largest oil and gas basin. Energy Information Administration My most recent article on LandBridge was written on November 13, when I wrote, “Why I’m Betting 20% Of My Portfolio On LandBridge’s Future.” Right now, my LB and TPL positions account for roughly 30% of my entire liquid net worth, which reflects my optimism. However, I am not taking this lightly. I may be naive sometimes, but I’m no fool. I know that LandBridge is a volatile beast. Its stock price reflects that quite well. Last year, for example, it lost roughly a quarter of its market cap, as a mix of low oil prices and subdued sentiment with regard to data centers in West Texas caused many to doubt the future of LB and TPL. Data by YCharts It even became somewhat of a battleground stock. During December, when another slump in oil prices pressured growth expectations in the Permian, sentiment seemed to have reached its low. If I had a dollar for every time someone called me crazy (or way worse), I would likely own most of LB’s outstanding stock right now. Anyway, all kidding aside, this isn’t an “I told you so” article by any means. This is a “my thesis remains on track” article, as the company’s latest earnings confirm my thesis: Guidance came in higher than I expected. Margins remain rock-solid at ultra-high levels. The data center thesis is gaining steam. Non-data center surface ...

US president violates UN charter just days into the Board of Peace era, and chooses to take the biggest gamble of his administration US-Israeli attack on Iran – live updates US and Israel strikes on Iran: what we know so far The first war of Donald Trump’s Board of Peace era has begun – an unprovoked attempt at regime change in collaboration with Israel, with no legal foundation, launched in the midst of diplomatic efforts to avert conflict, and with minimal consultation with Congress or the American public. Trump’s recorded eight-minute address, delivered in his trademark red baseball cap after the first bombs had fallen, made clear that this would be no limited strike aimed at cajoling Tehran into concessions at the negotiating table. He warned that if Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) did not surrender they would be killed, and the country’s armed forces, its missile and navy would be smashed. Continue reading...
