That would add up to $1.1B gross proceeds for the company and existing shareholders who are offering ADSs. The payments app company is offering ~31M ADSs, and selling shareholders are offering 23.9M ADSs. PayPay ( PAYP ) estimates that it will get $555M of net proceeds, or $703M if the underwriters exercise their overallotment option in full, assuming the IPO prices at the middle of the range. Qatar Holding LLC, Visa International Service Association, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority have indicated an interest in purchasing up to $220M of the ADSs in the offer, the company said. Earlier on Monday, though, Reuters reported that the company, which is backed by SoftBank ( SFTBY ) ( SFTBF ), was delaying the IPO due to the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict escalation. PayPay ( PAYP ) plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including working capital, sales and marketing, product development, general and administrative matters, and capital expenditures. It may also use some of the proceeds to acquire or invest in businesses, technology, or services. The company's 2025 revenue increased to $299.1M from $254.6M in 2024 and $201.2M in 2023. Profit for the year jumped to $39.2M from -$830K in the previous year and -$25.9M the year before that. Operating profit margin improved to 13% last year from 0% in 2024 and -12% in 2023. Andy Andrews/DigitalVision via Getty Images Recursion Pharmaceuticals ( RXRX ) stock hasn't had a strong start to 2026, with the name down over 12% year-to-date and Nvidia Corporation ( NVDA ) selling its position in the stock. My previous article on RXRX in January rated the name a sell, noting the company had produced clinical updates from relatively few patients and the name still traded well above cash while burning cash. This article looks at updates since that time, including the NVDA update, RXRX's collaborations, and the clinical updates ahead, to consider where RXRX stands now. NVDA sells out, but the collaboration is alive In mid-February, NVIDIA Corporation filed a 13F-HR , which reported no shares held of NVIDIA as of December 31, 2025. By comparison, a previous 13F-HR for September 30, 2025, noted NVDA held 7,706,363 shares of RXRX. That position came from a $50M private investment in public equity (PIPE), announced in July 2023. Screenshot of RXRX press release (RXRX press release, July 2023) The market was impressed by that news, with RXRX closing up 78% on July 12, 2023. RXRX notes some progress from the collaboration since with NVDA in its 10-K , which includes the completion of an AI supercomputer, BioHive-2, in mid-2024. Commenting on NVDA exiting its position, CEO of RXRX, Najat Khan, noted that while NVDA might have changed its investment strategy, the technical collaboration is continuing. ... This is not just words. This is actually in action. This is how we do millions of experiments a week. J Studios/DigitalVision via Getty Images Despite a dip in the last few trading days , a raging bull market has been ongoing across the emerging market landscape since last April. The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF ( EEM ) has returned 46%, dividends included, over the past 12 months—the Liberation Day plunge notwithstanding. A major conspicuously absent market is China. Namely, the China tech space has lagged badly. I downgraded the KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF ( KWEB ) last October , and shares have plunged 23% since then, underperforming the S&P 500 by 25 percentage points. I was clearly not negative enough. Today, I reiterate a "H old" rating. I assert that most of the damage has been done, and another 10% of downside is possible before KWEB encroaches on long-term support. The valuation, meanwhile, is in the good but not great category. KWEB: Dreadful Relative Performance YoY StockCharts .com According to the issuer, KWEB offers focused exposure to leading Chinese internet and technology companies, many of which operate platforms similar to major U.S. tech giants. The fund is purportedly positioned to benefit from China’s expanding middle class, rising domestic consumption, and government support for technological self-reliance. KWEB also provides access to key players in China’s AI race, including Alibaba Group ( BABA ), Baidu ( BIDU ), and Tencent ( TCEHY ). KWEB is a medium-sized ETF, now with $6.9 billion in assets under management as of the end of February. That's down from $9.5 billion at the time of my autumn Q4 analysis. Its annual expense ratio is high at 70 basis points, while the trailing 12-month dividend yield is very high at 6.75%. Shares trade 2% below the net asset value, indicative of the negativity around the fund, along with ongoing regulatory and political instability in China. Share-price momentum is downright awful, earning the product a poor F ETF Grade in that category by Seeking Alpha’s quantitative scoring system. That's a rema...

PayPay Corp. and an arm of SoftBank Group Corp. are seeking to raise as much as $1.1 billion in the digital payments firm’s US IPO, in what would be the biggest-ever listing for a Japanese company on a US stock exchange. Tokyo-based PayPay is offering 31.1 million American depositary receipts, while an affiliate of SoftBank Vision Fund II , an investment arm of the Japanese conglomerate, is selling 23.9 million ADRs, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Monday. The ADRs, which each represent one common share, are being offered for $17 to $20 each. PayPay had delayed the start of formal marketing amid uncertainty over conflict in the Middle East, a person familiar with the matter said earlier . At the top of the price range, PayPay would have a market value of about $13.4 billion based on the outstanding shares listed in its filings. PayPay was seeking a valuation of more than $10 billion , although SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son had pushed for a valuation as high as $20 billion. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and a unit of Qatar Investment Authority , along with an arm of payments giant Visa Inc. agreed to buy as much as $220 million worth of shares in aggregate, the filing shows. The filing came as markets were rattled by the US and Israel launching airstrikes on Iran over the weekend, sending energy prices and bond yields surging. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth rejected the idea of an “ endless ” conflict as airstrikes continued across the Mideast. Qatar’s Ministry of Defense said its air force downed two Iranian Su-24 jets , the first crewed aircraft from the Islamic Republic known to have been destroyed in combat since fighting began over the weekend. Our Big Take explores how Trump’s action has ushered in an era of unrestrained American power. Oil jumped the most since June as disruptions to tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and at a key Saudi Aramco refinery roiled markets. Brent settled near $78 a barrel, with Bloomberg Intelligence warning the global benchmark may surpass $100 in a “worst-case scenario.” European gas prices closed up 39% with Qatar shutting output at the world’s largest liquefied natural gas export facility. The current crunch may not be as catastrophic as the 2021 and 2022 crises, Bloomberg Opinion’s Javier Blas writes. UAE and Qatar Urge Allies to Help Trump Find Iran Off-Ramp Read the Story Airlines are still reeling from the chaos, with Etihad extending its suspension of commercial service to Abu Dhabi through 2 p.m. local time Wednesday and Emirates saying it will resume limited flights to ease some of the congestion caused by Iranian attacks. E-commerce platforms are also warning of longer delivery times due to disruption on key air and sea routes. Temu currently estimates delivery times of up to 20 days—compared with about 15 previously—while Shein widened its shipping window to eight to 10 days, up from five to eight. The Chinese Nav...

Over the weekend, the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, killing its leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and adding a new layer of uncertainty to global markets. Oil prices spiked on the news as Iran is a major exporter of oil and controls the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil shipping channel. U.S. stocks were down initially on the news, but recouped most of their losses by late morning. Gold spiked as it's seen as a safe haven asset, and defense stocks rose as well, as is typical when war breaks out. Two of the biggest winners were a pair of drone stocks, as drones are being used on both sides of the war. Those were Ondas Holdings (ONDS 3.38%), which was up 10% and Elbit Systems (ESLT 0.06%), which had gained 7% as of noon Monday. Let's take a look at what each stock has to offer to see if they are buys. 1. Ondas Holdings It's unclear which companies were involved in the strike on Iran, but Ondas is believed to be among them. Ondas is best known as a defense tech company that provides technological architecture for autonomous defense. It developed Optimus, the first FAA-certified small drone for fully automated aerial defense operations, and it provides other unmanned aerial systems and countersystems for fighting hostile drones. Ondas is still a small company with revenue of $10.1 million in the third quarter, which was up 6-fold from the quarter a year ago and 60% on a sequential basis, and it's targeting at least $110 million in revenue in 2026. Criteo ( CRTO ) on Monday said it will become the first advertising technology partner to integrate with OpenAI’s advertising pilot inside ChatGPT, marking a new step in the evolution of ads within generative AI environments. Shares of Criteo ( CRTO ) rose 2.3%. The integration will apply to ChatGPT’s Free and Go versions in the United States and is set to begin rolling out in the coming weeks, according to the company, which said AI chat could become a significant new channel for commerce-driven advertising as conversational interfaces increasingly serve as discovery engines for consumers. CEO: Ads should be additive and built on trust Michael Komasinski, chief executive officer of Criteo ( CRTO ), in a statement framed the partnership as an early test of how advertising can function inside large language model platforms without disrupting user experience. The pilot is designed to evaluate how brands can participate in advertising within ChatGPT while driving incremental demand back to retailer and brand websites. LLM traffic shows higher purchase intent Criteo ( CRTO ) pointed to aggregated data from its U.S. client base suggesting that traffic referred from large language model platforms such as ChatGPT converts at roughly one and a half times the rate of other referral sources. The company said the data underscores the high intent of users engaging with conversational AI platforms, which are increasingly used for product research and purchase consideration. As conversational discovery grows, Criteo ( CRTO ) sees an opportunity to connect brands with consumers earlier in the decision journey, particularly in environments where users are actively asking for recommendations. Earnings Call Insights: uniQure N.V. (QURE) Q4 2025 Management View CEO Matthew Kapusta opened the call by emphasizing uniQure’s enduring focus on advancing gene therapies, highlighting "groundbreaking 3-year data from our Phase I/II study of AMT-130," which demonstrated a statistically significant 75% slowing of disease progression in Huntington’s disease, as well as a 60% slowing in Total Functional Capacity. Kapusta detailed the regulatory setback: "during the October 2025 pre-BLA meeting, the FDA conveyed that data submitted from the Phase I/II studies of AMT-130 were unlikely to provide the primary evidence to support a BLA submission." He noted ongoing efforts to define a path forward, with the FDA recommending a Phase III randomized double-blind sham surgery-controlled study but affirming a willingness to exercise regulatory flexibility. Chief Medical Officer Walid Abi-Saab stated, "We strongly believe that AMT-130 represents the most compelling therapeutic data set generated in Huntington's disease to date and that these results provide the first clinical evidence that gene therapy can potentially alter the course of HD." Abi-Saab confirmed plans to amend the Phase I/II protocol to include a 4-year analysis, expecting this to "further inform the durability and magnitude of effect observed to date." CFO Christian Klemt reported, "Revenue for the year ended December 31, 2025, was $16.1 million compared to $27.1 million in 2024... Cash, cash equivalents and investment securities totaled $622.5 million as of December 31, 2025, compared with $367.5 million as of December 31, 2024." Outlook Management is focused on ongoing regulatory engagement with the FDA and has announced intentions to request a Type B meeting in the second quarter of 2026 to discuss Phase III design options. Abi-Saab stated, "We plan to request a Type B meeting in the second quarter of 2026 to further discuss potential Phase III study design approaches that address the agency's feedback while ...
