Robert Way The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City approved a limited-purpose account for Wyoming-based Payward Financial, which does business as Kraken Financial, making it the first crypto firm to get direct access to the Fed's payment system, Kraken said on Wednesday. The access allows for faster, more efficient movement of fiat currency for Kraken's institutional clients while reducing complexity, cost, and operational dependencies, the company said. The direct access to core U.S. payment rails means it can execute transactions without relying on intermediary banks. Payward Financial is chartered as a State of Wyoming Special Purpose Depository Institution. Kraken Financial, a tier 3 entity under the Federal Reserve's account access guidelines, was approved for a limited-purpose account for an initial term of one year. The account includes restrictions and limitations tailored for Kraken's business model and risk profile that are appropriate to mitigate risks identified in the guidelines, the Kansas City Fed said in a statement. The access to the Fed payment system strengthens Payward’s unified infrastructure model by integrating Federal Reserve connectivity directly into the platform’s settlement and payments layer, the company said in a statement. "For a Wyoming SPDI structured on a full-reserve model, this creates a uniquely resilient foundation," Payward and Kraken Co-CEO Arjun Sethi said. "It gives us the ability to settle directly on Fedwire, reduce dependency on correspondent banks, and integrate regulated fiat liquidity directly into digital asset markets." The company will operate directly in the majority of Europe, excluding a few countries, with the completion of this acquisition. "CrowdStrike delivered a very strong quarter by accelerating at scale and raising FY/27 ARR [Annual Recurring Revenue] expectations. Strength was broad-based and Flex/Re-Flex continues to drive momentum in the business. Even with raised FY/27 expectations, we still believe upside is likely throughout the year and could point to FY ARR acceleration," said analysts led by Matthew Hedberg. The analysts noted that CrowdStrike remains a top idea as a cybersecurity consolidator accelerating at scale and is poised to see tangible tailwinds from AI adoption. EPR Properties ( EPR ) stock has a total return of over 21% so far this year, while the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust ( SPY ) has returned 0%. During this volatility, it has proven itself as a market rotation play into value and dividends. EPR Properties is an experiential REIT. It leases out properties (triple-net leases) that offer experiences, such as movie theaters, ski resorts, gyms, and more. And its dividend yield is a relatively high 6.2%, with the most recent dividend increase of 5.1% happening last week. Some investors might not like EPR because of its high exposure to movie theaters, particularly AMC Entertainment ( AMC ). However, the company is reducing its theater exposure, and I'd argue that EPR can still collect its rent payments in the meantime. Also, EPR Properties expects to invest $400-500 million this year, which can support growth. Overall, for income investors interested in high-yield REITs, EPR Properties provides a good mix of high yield and growth potential for the industry, as well as good stock price and business momentum. The dividend also looks safe at the moment, with a Q4 AFFO payout ratio of around 68%. Therefore, I believe it deserves a Buy rating. In June 2025, the woman had left a physically abusive partner to come to a shelter that Lisseth helped found in Honduras. A historic South African wine farm linked to a former politician and anti-apartheid activist is set for auction this month, with brokers seeking bids of at least 180 million rand ($11 million). Bloemendal Wine Estate in the country’s Cape Winelands, a region known as the Napa Valley of Africa, will go on sale as an operating and profitable business March 25, according to bid package prepared by Rawson Auctions. The 238-hectare (588-acre) holding includes restaurants, a winery, a wine-tasting room, a manor house, stables and conference facilities, the document showed. I say this even after many stocks have rallied sharply, with today's company NioCorp Developments ( NB ) being no exception. Rare earth minerals will be the currency of the future, by this, I mean the country that has access to this is the country that will be the leader in technological advancements and manufacturing. Control that and your global influence is unmatched. This might sound dramatic, but there is a reason why the US has taken a stake in several mining companies and China is severely limiting its exports as well. I’ve covered NB before and even if the stock is down about 13% since my last article published on December 24th , I think the outlook is still very positive. I made it clear that NB is still pre-revenue, and that volatility and downside risk still exists. With the prospects of Elk Creek , $39 billion in implied mine value (at today's prices) and a 38-year mine life I find the upside to heavily outweigh the downside still for NB. Longtime director and current board chair Frank Yeary said he plans to step down after the company's annual shareholder meeting on May 13, 2026, bringing an end to a 17-year stint on Intel's board. Yeary joined the board back in 2009 and later became chair in 2023, a period when Intel was going through major strategic changes and leadership transitions in the fast moving semiconductor industry. During that stretch, the company was trying to reset its position in chips, especially as competition intensified around AI and advanced manufacturing. Intel said Dr. Craig H. Barratt, who joined the board in late 2025, will take over as chair once Yeary departs. Barratt has spent decades in the technology and semiconductor world, including leadership roles at Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG).
