UFORCE, which combines nine Ukrainian defense companies, raised $50 million in a funding round led by Shield Capital and Lakestar with participation from Ballistic Ventures , said the people, who asked not to be identified because the information is private. London-based UFORCE is positioning itself as one of the largest defense-technology platforms to emerge from Ukraine. It develops autonomous systems across air, sea and land, translating technologies refined during the conflict into deployable platforms for allied militaries. Demand for such systems is increasing as conflict escalate in the Middle East, with Iranian drones and missiles targeting infrastructure and military sites across the Gulf. Ukraine has spent years confronting similar threats, particularly from Iranian-designed Shahed drones widely used by Russia. UFORCE systems — including maritime drones, strike UAVs and counter-drone platforms — have supported more than 150,000 missions during the war, according to the people. A representative for UFORCE declined to comment on the funding.
