Today AMD formally announced those higher-tier Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series parts.The Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series up to six cores continue to be sampled now while the models up to 12 cores are formally launching today. These higher-core AMD Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series processors are targeting industrial automation applications. The Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series parts at up to 16 Zen 5 cores will be available during the second half of the year. These Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series designs pair Zen 5 cores with RDNA 3.5 graphics and an XDNA2 NPU. The 8-12 core models come with a TDP between 15 and 54 Watts and 16 lanes of PCIe Gen 4. With the industrial use-cases in mind, the Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series are rated for 24/7 operation with a 10-year lifetime for these BGA designs. The order came from one of Applied Optoelectronics long-term hyperscale customers. "We are seeing a clear progression toward higher-speed optics as AI clusters scale, and our transceiver portfolio enables our customers to order both 400G and 800G or 1.6T from us," said Dr. Thompson Lin , Founder, Chairman, and CEO of AOI. The company is expanding its existing facility in Taiwan and has started construction on a new facility in Sugar Land, Texas. Robinhood Ventures Fund I ( RVI ) is set to start trading on the NYSE on the 6th of March and is currently invested in just seven companies. Turns out, Plug Power's numbers more than impressed investors, and the stock is flying higher again in March. Why Plug Power stock fell in February Something caught investors' attention in early February. On Feb. 5, Plug Power adjourned a special meeting of shareholders after failing to obtain the necessary votes to pass critical proposals, including one to increase the authorized shares to avoid a reverse stock split. Eventually, though, shareholders approved the proposal on Feb. 12, which means Plug Power can now double its authorized share count to raise money. That, however, will also dilute existing shareholder value, a persistent sore point for investors in Plug Power. PLUG Shares Outstanding data by YCharts With Plug Power also posting huge losses quarter after quarter and burning cash rapidly, investors remained on the sidelines until the company reported its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results on March 6. One of the prevailing themes in recent months has been artificial intelligence (AI) disruption or the threat that AI poses to some established tech companies, primarily software providers. The basic idea is that as AI capabilities advance, it is able to do things for free that some companies have monetized for years, essentially making those companies less relevant. One of the most potentially "disrupted" companies, at least as far as investors see it, is Adobe (ADBE 1.71%), the digital document and media software provider. Adobe stock tanked about 30% to start the year, falling to its lowest price since 2019. But since closing at $246 per share on Feb. 24, it has rallied 11% to about $273 per share as of March 5. The concern among investors is that the number of subscriptions, or "seats," that Adobe sells to corporations will dwindle as people find cheaper ways to create and manage documents and digital media. AI disruption is a real concern for some companies, but is it overblown with respect to Adobe? Here are two reasons why March could be a pivotal month for Adobe. Revenue has been strong The Adobe sell-off comes despite excellent earnings in its latest quarter. The company had record revenue of $6.2 billion, up 10%, while net income rose 10% to $1.85 billion. For the full fiscal year, revenue climbed 11% to $23.8 billion while adjusted net income rose 7% to $8.9 billion or $20.95 per share. Also, it ended the year with $22.5 billion in remaining performance obligations (RPO) -- up 13% from the previous year. Of that amount, 65% of the contracts will be executed within the next 12 months. Oklo And Centrus Signal Progress On America's Nuclear Fuel-Chain Bottleneck Oklo and Centrus Energy announced they have agreed to pursue a joint venture focused on deconversion services for high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) and the advancement of related fuel-cycle technologies and supply chains. The JV would operate at Centrus’ Piketon site in Ohio, co-located with the existing enrichment facility and adjacent to Oklo’s planned 1.2 GW power campus . Centrus also recently started expansion efforts at their site and was awarded $900 million to support their HALEU project. The language being used by company leadership to describe the goals of the JV points to their intentions of pursuing the establishment of a Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campus (NLIC) in Ohio . CEO and co-founder of Oklo Jacob DeWitte stated: “This framework supports deeper discussions with Centrus on potential pathways to expand deconversion capacity, strengthen domestic supply chains, and advance a more efficient fuel-cycle model that operates from the same location .” The NLIC program is a push by the DOE to incentivize state governments to host the various stages of the nuclear fuel chain within their borders. States like Texas, Tennessee, and Ohio are getting the message. Other anti-nuclear waste states like New Mexico and California will continue denying their residents the extra tax revenue and high paying job opportunities … Deconversion transforms enriched uranium hexafluoride (UF6) into forms such as uranium metal or oxide suitable for fabricating fuel assemblies in next-generation reactors. A centralized facility could eliminate the need for individual developers to establish their own deconversion capabilities. This announcement advances a longstanding partnership.
