In the previous leak, the Plum platform was listed to feature 45W SoCs, and from new leaks, it looks like AMD is indeed testing out some new stuff. A new AMD Ryzen entry has appeared at Geekbench, which lists a new mode with the "100-000001713-31_N" ID. This chip features 10 cores and 20 threads, with a base frequency of 2.40 GHz, but due to the ES nature of this chip, it was running at around 2 GHz clock speeds. The CPU isn't clustered into standard and density-optimized cores, but that could also be due to the early nature of this chip, with Geekbench not able to identify the two sets of core designs. The CPU is mentioned as an AuthenticAMD Family 26 Model 128 Stepping 0 part. The interesting part of this chip is the cache configuration. It looks like all 10 cores feature 1 MB of L2 cache, and the L3 cache is a singular 32 MB stack. Now, if we take the Ryzen AI 9 365 as an example, it features a similar 10-core and 20-thread design based on the Zen 5 core architecture, has 1 MB of L2 cache dedicated per core, but the L3 cache count is 16 MB. This means that the mysterious chip offers double the cache of Strix/Goron processors. When looking at the Geekbench log, the CPU is listed as an "AMD Ryzen 9" part and was running a balanced profile while the system featured 32 GB of memory. The memory type is not mentioned.
