NickR/iStock via Getty Images Shares of powerboat retailer OneWater Marine Inc. ( ONEW ) are trading near multi-year lows as the industry continues to deal with a run of softer sales after a Goldilocks era fueled by low rates. This slowdown has compelled management to pump the brakes on its previous approach of growing through acquisition so it can concentrate on profitability and reducing net leverage. With industry inventories leaner than they’ve been in years and competitor MarineMax ( HZO ) receiving a buyout offer from an activist investor, the recent insider buying merited a deeper dive. An analysis follows below. ONEW Stock Chart (Seeking Alpha) OneWater Marine Inc. is a Buford, Georgia-based marine retailer, selling new and pre-owned premium powerboats, as well as related repair and maintenance services at its 95 dealerships across 18 states and Monaco. The company also manufactures and distributes marine products for sale to distributors and retail channels. With roots dating back to 1987, OneWater was formed through the combination of Singleton Marine and Legendary Marine in 2014 and went public in 2020, raising net proceeds of $59.2 million at $12 per share. Its stock trades around $8.50 a share, translating to an approximate market cap of $140 million. The company operates on a fiscal year (FY) ending September 30th. For the avoidance of doubt, the 12 months ending September 30, 2025, is FY25. February 2026 Company Presentation Approach Since Singleton and Legendary hooked up with the help of private equity in 2014, OneWater’s has focused on growing through acquisition, expanding from 15 to 63 stores at the time of its IPO. That approach continued through FY22 as it consolidated a highly fragmented $56 billion domestic marine retail vertical that consists of more than 4,000 dealerships, which collectively generated new boat sales of $17 billion and pre-owned sales of $10 billion in 2024. The endgame of this strategy was to become the most important clien...

Chinese AI startup Z.ai, known for its powerful, open source GLM family of large language models (LLMs), has introduced GLM-5-Turbo, a new, proprietary variant of its open source GLM-5 model aimed at agent-driven workflows, with the company positioning it as a faster model tuned for OpenClaw-style tasks such as tool use, long-chain execution and persistent automation. It's available now through Z.ai's application programming interface (API) on third-party provider OpenRouter with roughly a 202.8K-token context window, 131.1K max output, and listed pricing of $0.96 per million input tokens and $3.20 per million output tokens. That makes it about $0.04 cheaper per total input and output cost (at 1 million tokens) than its predecessor, according to our calculations. Z.ai’s March 15 rollout note says Pro subscribers get GLM-5-Turbo in March, while Lite subscribers get the base GLM-5 in March and must wait until April for GLM-5-Turbo. The company is also taking early-access applications for enterprises via a Google Form , which suggests some users may get access ahead of that schedule depending on capacity. z.ai describes GLM-5-Turbo as designed for “fast inference” and “deeply optimized for real-wo...

US President Donald Trump’s administration has asked a judge to reconsider his ruling that has effectively blocked a criminal investigation into US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, according to court documents made public on Monday. Washington-based US District Judge James Boasberg in a ruling unsealed on Friday blocked subpoenas issued by federal prosecutors in January seeking information about cost overruns in renovations at the Fed’s headquarters and Powell’s testimony to Congress last year about the project. Boasberg concluded that prosecutors had improperly issued the subpoenas, saying a “mountain of evidence” suggests the investigation - as Powell has argued - was intended to pressure the Fed chairman to rapidly lower interest rates or resign as chairman. Advertisement The Justice Department in a new filing urged Boasberg to revisit his decision. Prosecutors working with Jeanine Pirro, the Trump-appointed US Attorney in Washington who is leading the investigation, argued in the filing that the judge “applied an incorrect legal standard” and “erred with respect to certain significant facts”. The motion was filed under seal on Thursday but was made public on Monday following a request from Pirro’s office. Pirro said on Friday she would file both a motion for reconsideration and appeal to a higher court. Advertisement

A United States diplomat has told Brazilian port industry executives that Washington does not want a Chinese company to win the concession for a major container terminal in Santos, the largest port in Latin America, in the latest sign that the race for one of Brazil’s most prized infrastructure assets has become a front in the broader rivalry between Washington and Beijing. Kevin Murakami, the US consul-general in Sao Paulo, made the comments on March 5, at an event organised by Grupo A Tribuna, a media group based in the port city of Santos. According to the Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, three business executives who attended said Murakami told the audience the terminal had strategic importance for the United States, particularly in relation to organised crime. That part of his speech was expected. Advertisement The consul pressed on, however, touching on the auction itself in terms that reportedly caught his audience off guard. Murakami suggested the facility should not fall into “unwanted hands”, a remark those present interpreted as a warning against a Chinese victory. No American company is among the expected bidders. 10:37 Why the US is worried about China’s growing influence in South America Why the US is worried about China’s growing influence in South America The US consulate in Sao Paulo initially declined to comment. After Folha de S.Paulo published the story, the consulate acknowledged that Washington has “concerns regarding the participation of Chinese companies in the auction, related to sovereignty, security, competition and strategic leverage”. It denied that any direct pressure had been applied over the outcome.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang used the company’s keynote at Nvidia GTC on Monday to introduce DLSS 5, a new version of the chip-maker’s AI graphics tech designed to make video games more realistic while using less compute power. The new DLSS 5 system combines traditional 3D graphics data with generative AI models that can predict and fill in parts of an image, allowing Nvidia’s GPUs to produce detailed scenes and lifelike characters without rendering every element from scratch. “We fused controllable 3D graphics, the ground truth of virtual worlds, the structured data…with generative AI, probabilistic computing,” Huang said during his keynote speech. “One of them is completely predictive, the other one is probabilistic yet highly realistic.” Huang said combining those two ideas — structured data with generative AI — allows developers to create content that is “beautiful, amazing, as well as controllable.” Loading the player… “This concept of fusing structured information and generative AI will repeat itself in one industry after another,” Huang said. “Structured data is the foundation of trustworthy AI.” Gaming makes up a smaller portion of Nvidia’s revenue today than it has historically, though that’s the industry that made Nvidia into what it is today. Huang framed DLSS 5’s approach as an example of a broader computing shift, suggesting the approach could extend far beyond gaming and even into enterprise computing. Vaccine critics keep the pressure on, even as RFK Jr. shifts focus toggle caption Creative Images Lab/Getty Images On a warm, sunny day in Washington, D.C., more than 200 people crowd into the ornate Crystal Room in the stately Willard Hotel near the White House to talk about vaccines. "It's so nice to see so many of you here today," says Mark Gorton, the president of the MAHA Institute , as he takes the podium. The institute, a new think tank that backs the Make America Healthy Again movement, is hosting the event dubbed: MEVI Round Table: Massive Epidemic of Vaccine Injury , a daylong symposium exploring the institute's position that vaccines are dangerous. "Most families in America have suffered from vaccine injuries, but most people don't know this because we have never clearly named this epidemic," Gorton tells the audience. Sponsor Message For the next 30 minutes, Gorton presents a series of slides that claim vaccines are doing more harm than good. In fact, he estimates that vaccines sicken 1.4 million children each year by causing a long list of illnesses, including chronic diseases, neurological disorders, ADHD, autism and even cancer. "America's experiencing a massive epidemic of vaccine injury. But without a name people can't grasp it. Saying massive epidemic of vaccine injury is a mouthful. We needed something catchier. Hence MEVI," he says. Leading medical organizations and public health experts say the evidence is overwhelming that vaccines are safe and effective. But Gorton and the other organizers hope that recognizing this supposed "massive epidemic" will keep the momentum going on anti-vaccine policies in the second Trump administration. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has already taken a number of steps to curtail vaccines, including making it harder to get a COVID-19 vaccine , canceling promising research on new mRNA vaccines , and making it more complicated for children to get many routine immunizations . Gorton wants to go even further. "...

Andrii Yalanskyi/iStock via Getty Images Investment Overview When I last covered Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ( AMRX ) almost exactly one year ago, I gave the stock a Buy rating . That has proven a good call, as the stock is up 38% since that note, with Amneal stock trading at $12 per share at the time of writing, assigning the company a market cap valuation of $3.8bn. I first covered Amneal in March 2022, also assigning a Buy rating , and the stock is up ~185% since that call, and up >800% since the stock hit lows of ~$1.3 per share in April 2023. As discussed in previous notes, it seems the return of the original co-founder brothers, Chirag and Chintu Patel, has revitalized the business after a difficult merger with Impax Therapeutics (more detail in my prior notes). I'll share Amneal's latest business overview, as shared in its 2025 annual report/ 10K filing : Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a diversified, global biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes a diverse portfolio of essential medicines. Our Affordable Medicines segment includes retail generics, injectables, and biosimilars. In our Specialty segment, we offer a portfolio of branded pharmaceuticals focused primarily on central nervous system and endocrine disorders. Through our AvKARE segment, we are a distributor of pharmaceuticals and other products for the U.S. federal government, retail, and institutional markets. We operate principally in the United States, India, and Ireland. Amneal stock reached a value of ~$15 per share in February this year—its highest value since early 2019—although since the company announced its 2025 earnings, it has been steadily sliding downward. In this analysis, I'll discuss the 2025 results , prospects for 2026 and beyond, and try to establish if these recent losses may be temporary or symptomatic of wider problems at the company. Let's begin with 2025 earnings. Amneal: 2025 Results Impress, But Flattish 2026 Guidance May Concern Amn...

Plenty of the game’s finest critics assumed Brentford would be in a relegation battle with Wolves come this stage of the season. Keith Andrews, however, could go to within one point of sixth-placed Chelsea with a win over his former club tonight. The Irishman has done incredible work after being promoted to head coach when Thomas Frank left. It shows what can happen when a club has a strong ethos and structure, allowing them to move seamlessly between coaches. Wolves might well be bottom but they have won their past two Premier League games against Champions League-chasing Aston Villa and Liverpool no less. They will make things very difficult for the Bees, at least, having come a long way from the miserable side they were in the first half of the season. Kick-off: 8pm GMT

The decentralized social media platform founder was previously charged by the DOJ, as well, with both cases now dismissed. The now-defunct social network previously raised funds from top firms like Andreessen Horowitz and Coinbase Ventures. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has dropped its case against BitClout founder Nader Al-Naji and relief defendants, a recent filing with the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York shows. The civil enforcement action, originally filed in July 2024, has been dismissed after a "reassessment of the evidentiary record.” “In the exercise of its discretion, the Commission believes dismissal of the claims against Defendant and Relief Defendants is appropriate,” the filing reads. The jointly stipulated filing was signed by representatives for the SEC and defendants in the last two weeks and officially filed on March 12. Al-Naji, a former Google engineer, ran decentralized social networking site BitClout, which tokenized user profiles on Twitter (now X). The platform, which asked users to exchange Bitcoin for BitClout tokens in order to claim their profiles, ultimately earned funding from notable firms like Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Coinbase Ventures, as well as the founders of crypto exchange Gemini, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. Years after the site’s launch though, Al-Naji was hit with charges by the Department of Justice and the SEC, with the Justice Department alleging that he “lied to get access to millions of dollars, then gave the money away to family and friends.” The agency charged him with one count of wire fraud. Last March, though, the charges from the DOJ were dropped and the complaint was withdrawn without prejudice. Despite that, the SEC’s lawsuit against Al-Naji, which alleged that he raised more than $257 million ...

Bodo/Glimt must be the most romantic story in European football in decades. If they reach the Champions League quarter-finals this week it would be a fairytale up there with Jose Mourinho's Porto winning it in 2004. Just this one is forged in ice rather than hot-blooded knee slides... You'll likely know them by now, tucked away in the Arctic fjords, where the winds sweep down off snow-capped mountains and fans wear jumpers as woolly as their scarves. They are local heroes in brilliant yellow who have risen from the brink of bankruptcy to balling like a frost-kissed Brazil. The value of Bodo's largely local squad may be less than Manchester City paid for Erling Haaland, yet the Norwegians count the 10-time English champions among a reel of recent scalps that also includes Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Sporting. But Bodo's toothbrush-waving "fish hippies" are not the only fans enjoying underdog stories this season, across Europe clubs are battling above their board. So let's have look at the continent's biggest overachievers - have your say, tell us who we've missed and rank the top 10 below.

The nuclear energy sector is buzzing around Centrus Energy (LEU) after the company recently announced a landmark AI partnership with Palantir Technologies (PLTR). Notably, Centrus — the only U.S. commercial uranium enricher — is racing to expand its facility in Piketon, Ohio, to meet surging demand for low-enriched and advanced reactor fuel. Palantir’s AI-driven Foundry platform will help optimize Centrus’ project controls, supply chain, and engineering. Early results are eye-popping, as the collaboration has already identified nearly $300 million in potential cost savings, speeding up timelines for new capacity. The announcement comes amid a boom in nuclear investment — the U.S. is pushing to quadruple nuclear power, while Congressional backing for domestic fuel supply is strong. Analysts call the deal a huge positive for Centrus’ expansion plans, signaling increased efficiency as the company scales up. However, a key question remains: can tech infusion help Centrus capitalize on its $3.8 billion backlog and national security role? Why Centrus’ Growth Story Still Looks Intact Centrus Energy has quietly been building momentum behind the scenes. For years, the company generated steady revenue from two core businesses: nuclear fuel brokering and fuel services. Now, it has reorganized operations into two clearer segments, LEU and HALEU, positioning itself for the next phase of nuclear fuel demand. The LEU side continues supplying utilities through long-term contracts, while the HALEU segment is gaining traction after successfully running its enrichment pilot program for two straight years with the U.S. Department of Energy. That progress helped Centrus secure a $900 million federal award to expand enrichment capacity in Ohio. In short, Centrus isn’t just maintaining its business — it’s laying the groundwork for a much larger role in America’s nuclear fuel supply chain. After skyrocketing in 2025, LEU stock has cooled in 2026. Shares surged as much as 500%-plus in 2025 ...
