Marina113 Ford Motor Company ( F ) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Lincoln Navigator, 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus, and 2025 Lincoln Aviator and Explorer vehicles over software issues that may result in the loss of rearview camera image and some advanced driver assistance features. The remedy will be that the Image Processing Module A software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. jetcityimage/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Sporting goods retailer DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. ( DKS ), is performing strongly in the face of a challenging consumer environment. The company recently beat expectations on its Q4 results, and the retailer is also likely to benefit from a number of forward tailwinds. This includes a growing market for youth sports and World Cup-related spending. Shares are down about 6% over the past month and are also down 4% YTD. Seeking Alpha - 1-MTH Returns Of DKS Stock With shares trading near the back half of its 52-week range, I believe the company is worth additional attention. While I like the valuation at current levels, I believe the volatility in the current overall markets could create a better entry point for new investors seeking positioning in the stock. DKS Stock Key Metrics Shares in DKS currently command a forward trading multiple of about 13x earnings. This compares favorably to the broader markets, and though the multiple is slightly above both the historical and sector averages, it’s not significantly so. Seeking Alpha - Valuation Metrics Of DKS Stock The valuation grading is poor on Seeking Alpha’s (“SA”) quant metrics , but I don’t necessarily agree with this. For example, the DKS’s enterprise value is just 10x forward EBITDA. That’s one click above both the sector and historical averages. However, the quants view that as a ‘C’ score. I would provide a higher rating here. DKS also grades negatively on other metrics, and this is resulting in DKS being rated as an overall ‘hold’ by the quants. Sentiment is similarly neutral among the SA community , with one recent article even pointing to shares as a ‘sell.’ Seeking Alpha - Ratings Summary Of DKS Stock For Wall Street’s part, the community is highly bullish, with most seeing upside potential of at least 20% in the stock. This would take DKS to the $230/share mark, right in line with the 52-week highs. I view this as attainable, though I do believe today’s econo...

Data from the European auto lobby the ACEA showed overall car registrations, a proxy for sales, in the EU, Britain and the European Free Trade Association were up 1.7%. Over 979,000 cars were sold in the month, with two-thirds of those being electric or hybrid. The EU and Britain are walking back some regulations aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. That's after pressure from domestic carmakers who say they are struggling to turn a profit on EV sales... while facing competition from Chinese rivals. But battery-electric and plug-in hybrid sales have been steadily on the rise in Europe thanks to new, cheaper models. The data showed Tesla's February registrations were up 11.8% year-on-year ... They were marginally lower than those of its Chinese competitor BYD, whose sales more than doubled from the same month of 2025. Sales of top domestic carmakers VW and Stellantis rose by 2.2% and 9.5%, respectively. While Renault's fell by 14.3%.

Four million units of Nintendo's flagship device are expected to be made this quarter instead of the six million it had originally planned, according to unnamed sources cited by the publication, with the reduced output set to continue in April. Last month, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said during an earnings call that "overseas sales were somewhat weaker than expected." Klaus Vedfelt/DigitalVision via Getty Images The markets remain on edge. President Trump’s five-day hiatus announced yesterday is looked upon suspiciously. Much of what has been claimed seems to be part of the psych-operations associated with warfare, like initiating the war during negotiations. Many seem to share our sense that the five-day period will allow more US troops to enter the region and perhaps attempt to take Kharg Island. The US strategy seems to waver between destroying Iran’s capability to even make a paperclip to seeking regime change and keeping the energy infrastructure intact to allow the new regime to rebuild. Meanwhile, more ships appear to be passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which appears becoming a toll booth for $2 mln passage fee to be paid in yuan. Meanwhile, the US has given Europe an ultimatum of its own: Agree to the trade deal by March 26 or lose favorable access to US liquefied natural gas. Follow-through dollar selling has been limited today after yesterday’s setback. The market lacks near-term conviction. The preliminary March PMIs were mostly weaker, and this is only the initial inkling of the disruptive impact of the war. Yesterday’s hopeful optimism has yielded to a more wary stance today. Prices G10 • In yesterday’s volatile session, the US backed away from the ultimatum issued over the weekend and cited talks that the Iranian leaders denied took place. The euro traded on both sides of the pre-weekend range, traded above the 20-day moving average since the war on Iran began, and settled at its highest level since March 4. The euro retraced a little more than half of this month’s losses. There has been no follow-through buying today, despite the constructive price action. Amid the consolidative tone, the euro found support near $1.1575. Options for 1.1 bln euros at $1.16 expire today. • The dollar reached JPY 159.65 before President Trump lifted the ultimatum he issued about 36 hours previously and gave Tehran another five da...

Wall Street's Trillion-Dollar Bet On "Tax Alpha" Tax alpha — the practice of improving investment returns by reducing taxes — has become one of the fastest-growing strategies on Wall Street , according to Bloomberg . Rather than focusing only on beating the market, many investment firms now design portfolios to minimize taxes, often producing higher after-tax returns even if pre-tax performance is similar to traditional strategies. After years of rising markets, many wealthy Americans hold large unrealized gains in stocks and funds. To address the resulting tax burden, asset managers have developed a wide ecosystem of tax-optimization techniques. More than $1 trillion is now invested in strategies built around tax efficiency, ranging from simple ETF structures to complex hedge fund portfolios. Some of the simplest approaches involve structuring funds to limit taxable events. Certain exchange-traded funds minimize distributions by carefully timing stock sales, reducing investors’ annual tax bills. At the other end of the spectrum are more complex strategies that deliberately generate losses or deductible expenses that can offset gains — and sometimes even ordinary income. One of the fastest-growing segments is tax-aware long-short investing. These portfolios simultaneously hold long and short positions in stocks, seeking both overall market returns and realized losses that investors can use to offset capital gains elsewhere. Estimates suggest more than $100 billion is invested in these strategies. Technology and new financial startups have also made tax optimization more accessible. Strategies once limited to ultra-wealthy investors with millions of dollars are increasingly available to clients with much smaller portfolios, thanks to automation and lower costs. Bloomberg writes that large asset managers have joined the trend as well. Firms such as BlackRock and Vanguard have expanded offerings in separately managed accounts and direct indexing. Instead of buying a fu...

Hailshadow Karyopharm Therapeutics ( KPTI ) announced plans to seek a label expansion for its lead asset, selinexor, on Tuesday after the oral treatment branded as Xpovio succeeded in a late-stage trial for patients with a rare blood cancer known as myelofibrosis. Based on topline data, the Newton, Massachusetts-based biotech said its Phase 3 SENTRY trial reached the first co-primary endpoint, as selinexor combined with the JAK inhibitor ruxolitinib led to an improvement in spleen volume reduction in 35% or more patients. The results generated over 24 weeks were statistically significant, the company added. Regarding the other co-primary endpoint, the average change in absolute total symptom score (Abs-TSS) over 24 weeks, the results were comparable between the two treatment arms: selinexor plus ruxolitinib and placebo plus ruxolitinib. However, the results were not statistically significant, according to Karyopharm ( KPTI ). While the company noted selinexor plus ruxolitinib was found to indicate a manageable safety and tolerability profile in the SENTRY trial, with no new safety signals, 15% in the on-drug arm discontinued the trial compared to 9% in the placebo arm. Thrombocytopenia, constipation, and nausea were among the five most common treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) with the rate of Grade 3 or more TEAEs standing at 70% and 50% in the selinexor and placebo arms, respectively. Karyopharm ( KPTI ) plans to meet with the FDA to discuss the trial results, anticipating a supplemental new drug application filing for selinexor in myelofibrosis. Following a brief trading halt, the company shares surged ~14% in reaction to the announcement. Concurrently, the company announced a $30M private placement with Boston, MA-based investment manager RA Capital Management. More on Karyopharm Therapeutics Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc.
