Citigroup Inc. is approaching other lenders to join a roughly $4.8 billion financing backing Ecolab Inc.’s purchase of CoolIT Systems Inc. , people with knowledge of the matter. The deal will likely involve selling investment-grade bonds, the people said. Ecolab, a St. Paul, Minnesota-based company that provides water and hygiene services to commercial and industrial businesses, announced earlier this month its plan to buy CoolIT from funds managed by KKR & Co. for $4.75 billion in cash. CoolIT develops cooling technology for AI data centers. Citi declined to comment while Ecolab did not immediately respond to a comment request. Bond grader S&P Global Ratings , which rates Ecolab’s senior unsecured debt at A-, said the deal will push debt levels higher in the short term but that it will have little impact on credit metrics longer-term. Fitch last week affirmed its A- rating for the company’s senior-unsecured debt. The ratings firm said it expects Ecolab will be able to reduce gross leverage to around or below 2.5x within up to two years after the CoolIT acquisition. More M&A financings are expected to hit the high-grade bond market, including for Paramount Skydance Corp’s acquisition of Warner Bros . That deal includes about $40 billion of new debt split between high-grade and junk-rated bonds as well as loans.

The screenplay will be based on Brown’s 2021 book Perversion of Injustice: The Jeffrey Epstein story. Svetlana Ritane/iStock via Getty Images DBV Technologies Overview DBV Technologies’ stock ( DBVT ) is up over 400% in the past year. Data by YCharts Almost exactly a year ago today, DBV announced that the FDA informed them that its VITESSE Phase 3 trial evaluating its Viaskin Peanut patch in 4 to 7-year-olds would, alone, be sufficient for a BLA. Months later, in December, DBV revealed VITESSE topline results. 46.6% of children treated with the VIASKIN® Peanut patch met response criteria at 12 months, compared to 14.8% of children in the placebo arm. Its plan was to submit a BLA for 4 to 7 year-olds in the 1H 2026. Having covered Aimmune (later acquired by Nestle in 2020 for Palforzia, a peanut allergen oral immunotherapy powder) in the past, I have some familiarity with this market. Below, I make the case that DBVT’s ~$1B market capitalization merits caution ahead of what figures to be a challenging launch for Viaskin. A Shrinking Market Peanut allergy management primarily focuses on avoidance and the treatment of accidental exposures. Author's Compilation Over the past decade, there has been a shift to peanut allergy prevention. In 2015, the LEAP study proved that early introduction reduced allergy risk by >80%. And by 2021, guidelines around the world recommended early introduction for all infants. The 2025 iREACH trial showed that baseline adoption of these new recommendations was just ~10%-35%. Current data (conducted by CHOP and published in Pediatrics ) shows a 43% drop in overall peanut allergy incidence since the 2017 guidelines were implemented. The study found significant reductions in the prevalence of peanut IgE-mediated food allergy (from 0.79% to 0.45% of the study population) and any IgE-mediated food allergy (1.46% to 0.93% of the population) from the time before the guidelines to after the addendum guidelines were introduced. It has been almost a decade since the NIAID/NIH addendum. So, in just this short time, DBV’s target market has materially di...

In a stark message that countries on all continents will be affected, the Washington-based organisation said a rise in energy and food costs would harm economic growth this year and could leave lasting scars on the global economy. By controlling that infrastructure, pipeline companies operate a simple "toll road" model that is well-insulated from volatile commodity prices. It also generates substantial cash flow, enabling it to pay higher yields than most conventional energy companies. Let's review three high-yield pipeline stocks ideal for long-term investors: Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE: EPD) , Energy Transfer (NYSE: ET) , and Enbridge (NYSE: ENB) . Gerville/iStock via Getty Images Shares of Fermi Inc. ( FRMI ) have been a very poor performer since their IPO in the fall of 2025, losing about three-quarters of their value. Investors received more bad news Monday after the company reported weak results and limited progress in securing tenants for its aggressive data center buildout plans. When the company first went public, I was deeply skeptical, but I moved shares to a Hold rating in December after having seen a 70% drop since my Sell recommendation in October . In that article, I wrote I would simply “avoid Fermi,” but in hindsight, actively shorting shares would have been better. As an investor, it can be important not to be “greedy” and press winning trades too far; however, in this case, there was more downside to monetize with shares down 40% since December. With updated financials, now is a good time to revisit Fermi. Seeking Alpha Fermi Has Yet to Sign a Tenant In 2025 , the company reported a GAAP loss of $1.13. As the company began operations on January 10th, 2025, this technically reflected a partial year of results, though it is close to a full year. Results included $442 million of non-cash charges; otherwise, its loss was closer to $45 million. Now, Fermi is essentially a pre-revenue company. It has no customers yet, and it instead needs to build out data centers and the power infrastructure to support them in order to win tenants and generate revenue. As such, shares are not reacting so badly because the company is running at a loss; in my view, even the most bullish investor should recognize losses are likely in the near term. The question, however, is when the company will sign tenants and inflect to meaningful revenue, and here, the story is increasingly problematic. Fermi has yet to sign a tenant to a definitive lease, and its shareholder letter alongside results makes it seem like no such agreement is imminent. Management wrote that it is being “deliberate and consistent” in seeking the right...

Ignatiev/iStock via Getty Images Earlier this month, SS Innovations ( SSII ) reported strong top-line growth in the fourth quarter of FY25, pushing the business to a record quarter in revenue terms. SS Innovations Fourth Quarter Results Snapshot (Author) SSII reported revenue of $14.5m, up 13.2% from Q3. This rounded off a strong financial year for the business, with the top-line 106% higher than FY24. This growth was entirely driven by an increase in sales volume, with 40 total SSi Mantra installations, compared to 27 in Q3 of 2025. This comes as SSII continues to expand and take market share in India, which remains by far its largest market. However, these gains were slightly offset by a 430bp decline in gross margins. SSII's gross margins have remained volatile over time due to varied pricing on different installations. Despite this, the business delivered a healthy gross profit of $6.4m and a narrow operating loss of $0.7m. SSII offers a compelling growth opportunity in the surgical robotics market, with the expansion into more developed, significant markets expected over the coming year. The call option - US and European expansion What gets me excited for SSII's future is the potential for U.S. and European regulatory approval. Progress should be made on both these geographic fronts in the coming quarters, as highlighted in the press release accommodating the results: We anticipate that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will complete its review of our 510(k) premarket notification for the SSi Mantra by mid-2026. We also continue along the pathway towards a European Union CE marking certification for the SSi Mantra, which we believe we can also obtain this year Unsurprisingly, the U.S. remains by far the biggest and most attractive opportunity within the surgical robotics industry. The surgical robotics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.7% from 2025 through 2030, with North America making up the majority of the market. SSi Mantra provides a differen...
