In a packed White House briefing room, journalists shouted over each other in a bid to get a question from the US secretary of state. At the same time Vice-President Vance – Rubio’s most likely rival for the 2028 Republican presidential nomination – was hundreds of kilometres away from the action at a political fundraiser in Oklahoma. “Guys, this is chaos,” said Rubio as...

I covered the stock in November and gave the stock a buy rating. That has turned out to be a painful rating with the stock down nearly 22% from that time. As with many software stocks, it was caught in the middle of the "Saaspocalypse." While many software stocks are starting to recover, there are still a lot that are down from highs seen before AI crashed the party. Seeking Alpha The company reported another good quarter of growth and increased profits. While the company once again beat estimates and had a solid quarter, there were some weaknesses in the results. Guidance was also not as strong as many investors would have liked to see, and the stock traded down slightly on results. There continues to be a lot of fears around AI and the disruption it might cause to the industry. Particularly around Anthropic and their latest model. This has left Tenable at a cheap valuation. While the stock trades cheaper than it did last time I rated the stock, I do have more concerns about the future and potential of the stock. Financials The company continued its trend of beating and raising estimates with its Q1 results . The company reported revenue of $262.1 million, up 9.6% from the prior year. It was also growth quarter over quarter from $260.5 million seen in Q4. The company also continued to build on its enterprise customers, adding 43 new six-figure customers. These larger customers provide much more consistent results for the company and provide a real growth driver. Overall it was another solid quarter of growth, but year-over-year revenue growth did come in under double-digit growth for the first time in years. Gross margins continue to be one of the strengths for the company, with a reported gross margin of 78.4%. The company also continued to generate positive GAAP operating profit for the quarter with a figure of $8.8 m...

In addition, the 10yr minus 3-month Treasury spread has widened to 0.72%, for which there is long-term interpretation of debt capital shifting into equity capital. The shift into positive territory for the 10yr minus 3-month Treasury had a brief excursion in 2024, but then retreated till the current run broke above 0.0% in September 2025. It certainly appears that the moves in the PMI and the 10yr minus 3-month Treasury are correlated. Both are market psychology indicators, as is the S&P 500. We are in a momentum-driven market. My long-term analysis suggests $8,000 for the S&P 500 by December 2026 and potential for $10,000 by 2028 based on current governance policies. Green leader said he hosted fundraisers for the Red Cross but accepts he should not have described himself as a spokesperson for it Zack Polanski defended expressing concern about the way the suspect in the Golders Green stabbings was treated when he was arrested last week. The Green leader has apologised for reposting a social media message implying the police used excessive force during the arrest. He said he should not have raised this issue in that way. My very first response to the attack was to be horrified, as everyone was, I’m sure, and the first thing I posted was solidarity to the victim, to the family, and indeed, to people who are suffering right now. Two things can be true at the same time: officers are incredibly brave when they run towards scenes of crimes that most people, including myself, will want to run away from. At the same time, I think it is accurate, and that I was also traumatised by seeing someone handcuffed and repeatedly kicked in the head … Continue reading...
