The top official at Saudi Arabia’s wealth fund said it remains committed to investments around the world despite growing concerns over the mounting economic costs of the war. “The Saudi macroeconomic and physical position remains strong, stable and resilient,” said Yasir Al Rumayyan , governor of the $1 trillion Public Investment Fund . “We measure our returns not in quarters but in decades, and PIF remains committed to its investments around the world.” Al Rumayyan was speaking at the Future Investment Initiative event in Miami, against the backdrop of a regional war that’s now in its fourth week. Over the past month, Iran has attacked energy infrastructure across the oil-rich region, raising concerns that the kingdom and other Gulf nations might pull back from international investments. Tehran’s projectiles have hit Saudi Arabia’s biggest oil refinery at Ras Tanura, and repeatedly targeted the kingdom’s Shaybah oil field, which has the capacity to produce 1 million barrels of crude a day. Still, Gulf sovereign investors are pressing ahead with global dealmaking. Savvy Games Group, a unit of the PIF, agreed to buy Moonton from ByteDance this month in a deal valuing the mobile games maker at $6 billion. Analyst Tom Narayan said the firm forecasts U.S. numbers to be down in Q1 compared to a year ago, reflecting the absence of the electric vehicle tax credit. The Q1 tally is also expected to be down sequentially versus Q4, consistent with seasonality. "Model S and X discontinuation in Q2/26 reflects a strategic pivot to robotaxis and humanoids, potentially pressuring private vehicle sales going forward. However, we believe prolonged elevated fuel costs could bolster near-term EV demand, providing some upside for TSLA," updated Narayan. UBS expects an even lower Q1 deliveries total from Tesla ( TSLA ). The firm said it forecasts 345K deliveries, which it says is more in line with buy-side expectations. Tesla's ( TSLA ) 2025 delivery pattern was uneven. We already knew we are about to get an entire film, directed by and starring Andy Serkis, titled Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum , and based on a sequence that was told in brief flashback during 2001’s The Fellowship of the Ring. It’s due out next year. And there were rumours that more movies would be coming.
