Do you think AVGO stock is a good long-term bet at current levels? What about at a 30% discount at about $300 per share? If you think that is a steal and have some cash ready to go, here is a trade.

Oselote/iStock via Getty Images Investment thesis Note: This is an update to my previous article . TSS ( TSSI ) reported a quarter that initially looked disastrous, with revenue falling 44% year-over-year and the stock collapsing more than 25% after earnings. However, beneath the headline numbers, the business actually improved in several important ways. Higher-margin revenue grew 88%, gross margins nearly doubled, and the adjusted EBITDA outlook remained stable despite the sharp decline in sales. That said, the most important part of the thesis remains unchanged. TSS disclosed that a single customer still represents essentially all of its revenue, making the company look less like an independent AI infrastructure provider and more like an operational partner tied to Dell's AI growth. While demand for AI rack integration remains strong, I still struggle to justify a more bullish rating given the extreme concentration risk. Better revenue mix in Q1 2026 On May 7th , the company shared its Q1 2026 results, and there wasn't a positive reaction, as the stock price dropped by more than 25% that same day, but it reached even an intraday drop of 35%. These were the earnings that triggered this reaction: $55 million in sales, or a 44% decrease, but analysts were expecting even worse results. Regarding EPS, TSS reported $0.08 per share, almost double the analysts' expectations and only 33% lower than the same quarter last year. I know, "only 33% lower" doesn't sound like something to be optimistic about, but considering the drop in sales, this implies an improvement in margins. CIA Document Sparks Wild Theories Of Ancient Knowledge Hidden Under Egypt's Sphinx Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity.news, A declassified CIA document that references a “Temple under Sphinx” in a 76 year old photographic inventory, has reignited interest in a mythical Hall of Records said to lie beneath Egypt’s Great Sphinx. The document in question is a CIA inventory cataloging black-and-white photo negatives from July 1950. Among routine entries such as “Sphinx,” “Tourist at Pyramids,” and “Ruins near Sphinx” appears the line: “Temple under Sphinx; July ’50.” This phrasing has prompted renewed discussion about possible hidden structures beneath the Sphinx, a topic long associated with Edgar Cayce’s prophecies of an underground Hall of Records containing ancient knowledge. Read more ⬇️ https://t.co/XKVD737uhC — Daily Mail US (@Daily_MailUS) May 11, 2026 The Hall of Records legend describes a repository of Atlantean or pre-dynastic wisdom hidden near the right paw of the Sphinx. While mainstream archaeology has not confirmed any such chamber, the CIA reference has added a new layer to existing theories. This development ties directly into earlier reports of potential subterranean features at the Giza plateau. Last year we highlighted claims by Italian and Scottish researchers using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) scans that purported to reveal a vast underground complex beneath the pyramids. The researchers detailed eight vertical cylindrical shafts extending over 2,100 feet deep, connected chambers, and structures potentially linking the three main pyramids and the Sphinx area. Spokesperson Nicole Ciccolo claimed the findings suggest “The existence of vast chambers beneath the earth’s surface, comparable in size to the pyramids themselves, which have a remarkably strong correlation between the legendary Halls of Amenti.” She added: “These new archaeological findings could redefine our understanding of the sacred topography of ancient Egypt, providing spatial co...

Joe Raedle | Getty Images Inflation jumped in April to the highest level in nearly three years as surging gas prices due to the Iran war pushed up the cost of many consumer goods. The consumer price index, a key inflation measure, rose 3.8% in April from a year earlier, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday. That's up from 3.3% in March . The April data paints a clearer picture of the financial fallout for consumers after, at that point, more than a month of conflict in the Middle East. "American households are going to continue to struggle trying to manage through this, and that's going to be the case for the foreseeable future," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's. High oil prices create a 'double squeeze' Earlier this week, President Donald Trump rejected Iran's latest proposal to end the war, sending oil futures higher. Iran has continued to restrict energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway used to transport about a fifth of the world's oil . "It's like the aorta artery in your body," said Brian Bethune, an economics professor at Boston College. "When that is choked down, it is the whole global economy that is affected." Oil prices — as measured by Brent crude oil , a global price benchmark — spiked to $118 per barrel by the end of April from roughly $70 per barrel before the conflict began. Prices remain above $107 a barrel as of early Tuesday. Products refined from oil, such as gasoline and jet fuel, have risen sharply, too. Gas prices soared about 50% since the war with Iran began on Feb. 28 and are up 28.4% over the year, according to the CPI data. Consumers paid a national average of $4.50 per gallon as of Tuesday, according to AAA — up from about $3.14 a year ago. Airline fares also rose 20.7% over the past 12 months, according...
