Jung Yeon-je | Afp | Getty Images SK Hynix revealed Wednesday that it made a confidential filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a potential listing on Wall Street this year. The South Korean memory giant first disclosed its interest in a U.S. listing in December , as it seeks fresh capital to expand production amid surging memory demand driven by the artificial intelligence boom. SK Hynix said in a regulatory filing that it aims to proceed with the listing of American Depositary Receipts within 2026, though details such as the size, method, and schedule of the public offering have not yet been finalized. ADRs are tradable certificates issued by U.S. banks that represent shares in a foreign company. While they tend to trade with lower liquidity than a full U.S. listing, which can deter some investors, ADRs use existing shares rather than new stock, preserving value for existing shareholders. "The final decision on the listing will be made after comprehensively considering the SEC's review of the application, market conditions, demand forecasting, and other relevant factors," the filing said, according to a Google translation. The company said it will make another disclosure when specific details are finalized or within six months. Local media reported the company is considering raising between 10 trillion won and 15 trillion won, or roughly $6.7 billion to $10 billion at current exchange rates. SK Hynix is one of the world's leading suppliers of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips used in AI processors. Demand for such memory chips has accelerated so fast that it triggered a global memory shortage and a resulting surge in prices. In the face of that shortage, SK Hynix and competitors such as Micron and Samsung have rushed t...

Earnings Call Insights: KB Home (KBH) Q1 2026 Management View Jeffrey Mezger, Executive Chairman, indicated that first quarter results were within guidance and highlighted "our highest community count in many years, contributing to year-over-year growth in net orders." He emphasized a return to a "mix of sales that are predominantly built-to-order," aiming for "70% built-to-order deliveries in the second half of this year." Mezger noted repurchasing 843,000 shares and returning almost $70 million to shareholders in the quarter. Mezger announced Rob McGibney's promotion to CEO and President, stating, "Rob is a proven results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of our business gained over the past 25 years with the company." Rob McGibney, CEO and President, explained, "The meaningful improvement in cancellations reflects high-quality committed buyers who are ready and able to purchase a home and also supported net orders at an average absorption pace of 3.5 per month per community." He described the shift to the built-to-order (BTO) model as a "purposeful reset that positions us to be a stronger, more predictable company in the second half of the year and beyond." McGibney added, "We are making considerable progress increasing our built-to-order sales. They represented 44% of our net orders in October, growing each month through the first quarter. We exited February at 68%. And in the early weeks of March, we are now above 70%." Robert Dillard, CFO, stated, "In the first quarter of fiscal 2026, we were within our guidance range with total revenues of $1.08 billion and housing revenues of $1.07 billion, a 23% decrease on a year-over-year basis." Dillard added, "We continue to manage cost effectively and achieved an 8% reduction in total direct construction costs per unit." Outlook Dillard indicated, "In the second quarter of 2026, we expect to generate housing revenues between $1.05 billion and $1.15 billion, based on expected deliveries of between 2,250 and 2,45...

After The Epstein Files, It's Become All But Impossible To Believe He Killed Himself Authored by Tom Elliott via substack , As soon as the feds announced Jeffrey Epstein killed himself while awaiting prosecution on charges of sex trafficking, the popular reaction was disbelief: “Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself” quickly became an internet meme. And now, with the release of the Epstein Files, it’s only become harder — if not all but impossible — to believe the official story that Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself in the Manhattan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019. The “Suicide” The DoJ’s Inspector General released a report that officially concluded there was no reason to doubt the suicide story, but actually contains many disturbing details if you read the included evidence. As summarized by JustFacts: Federal prison officials placed Epstein in a cell with a murderous, hulking ex-cop — a death trap for any child molester. Less than two weeks later, prison guards found Epstein in the middle of the night in a semiconscious state with a rope and “friction marks” around his neck. Despite a court order requiring the prison to preserve video surveillance footage near Epstein’s cell during the strangulation, federal prison officials failed to do so and also lost the backup due to “technical errors.” Federal prison officials took Epstein off “suicide watch” just one day after the strangulation without determining whether Epstein was attacked by his cellmate or tried to commit suicide. One day before Epstein’s death, federal prison officials removed his new cellmate and didn’t replace him. They did this even though a prison psychologist sent an email to over 70 prison staffers stating that Epstein “needs” a cellmate — a common suicide prevention measure. One day before Epstein’s death, a federal court unsealed more than 2,000 pages of lawsuit records that named and implicated wealthy and powerful people in Epstein’s sex crimes, as well as federal officials in covering up...
