The company's shares are down by 14.4% since mid-January 2026 (Fig. 1); however, it released solid 2025 results. Our recent buy rating was backed by 1) solid execution in production positioning (yachts in the 30–50 meter range) combined with direct distribution, 2) positive order book momentum, and 3) an inexpensive valuation. With our usual comment on the company's latest numbers, our analysis will focus on 1) presenting evidence supporting our original investment thesis and 2) incorporating new insights. Mare Ev. Segment performance was mixed, with the Superyacht Division flattish, the Yacht Division down by 5.4%, and the recent acquisition, Nautor Swan, contributing €102.0 million, along with Simpson Marine. This was a solid performance, with sales up 45.1% in Q4 2025. EBITDA reached €181 million with a 18.8% margin. EBITDA margin was +1% better than guided. Memory chips that sit right next to computing chips are critical to the servers sold by Nvidia and others, and earlier this week at Nvidia's annual developer conference, SK Group Chairman ‌Chey Tae-won told reporters that ⁠shortages of high-bandwidth memory could last until 2030 because of demand for AI systems. But new AI-powered software tools can ⁠now make sense of huge datasets that humans could rarely wring business value from, and Nvidia introduced several new technologies this week aimed at helping ​move data ​more quickly from storage drives to ​its chips. “The storage system is ‌going to get pounded," Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Monday during a keynote address at the company's developer conference. That is translating into increased demand for solid state drives, said Greg Matson, senior vice president at Solidigm, the unit of SK Hynix that sells storage drives to businesses. Fifa has implemented a landmark policy that teams in their tournaments must include female coaches. Under the new ruling, at least two staff members on the bench of every team at matches must be women, with one in an assistant or head coach role. The rules apply to international football and Fifa club competitions. Looking across the top 10 nations in the world, six would already be compliant although only four of them have female head coaches. But does action need to be taken in the English game? In the Women's Super League (WSL), BBC research suggests three teams would currently comply with Fifa's rules. Only a third of WSL managers are female, while two clubs do not appear to have any female head coach or assistant coaches. "To give equal opportunity, sometimes you need to inject," said Arsenal manager Renee Slegers. "I'm very proud to be part of Arsenal where there are so many women working at a really high level." Fifa's requirements come into effect for the under-17s and under-20s Women's World Cup and Women's Champions Cup competitions later this year. The rationale is to spark a rapid increase in female representation in coaching roles. The Women's Super League says growing the number of female coaches is a priority and is taking a "thoughtful approach" in conjunction with the FA. They point to a number of pathways already established such as the Coaching Initiative, mentoring and an elite female coaching programme, designed to improve access for women to the top levels of the English game. Maximusnd/iStock via Getty Images It is easy to be caught up in the market disruptor story of the week or month, especially amid a messy conflict in the Middle East that has been shifting asset prices around a bit more erratically than many of us would like to witness (see the chart below displaying how most major asset classes have been well into negative territory so far this month). But during turbulent times, it helps the multi-year and multi-decade-horizon investor to step back and consider which investments still make sense for the longer term. Today, I will use the iShares 10-20 Year Treasury Bond ETF ( TLH ) as a proxy for intermediate-term, investment-grade bonds in general, particularly treasuries, and make a modest bull case for owning it over the next few years (alongside a couple of risks that investors should keep in mind) using more of a quantitative rather than qualitative argument. Data by YCharts A Quick Word on TLH The iShares 10-20 Year Treasury Bond ETF is a $12 billion AUM fund that invests in nearly 70 different U.S. treasury instruments of different maturities, averaging 16.8 years. The fund, which charges a relatively low annual management fee of 15 bps, has returned 3.1% per year since its inception in 2007, despite the massive mid-2020 to late-2023 fixed income bear market that, at one point in 2023, put the ETF in a historic 45% drawdown. The mediocre returns look slightly more compelling when (1) compared to 2.4% CPI inflation during the existence of the fund, or 1.9% when the once-in-a-generation inflation shock of 2022-2026 is excluded; and (2) the ETF is considered in the context of a diversified, multi-asset portfolio, given the historical low correlation with large-cap U.S. stocks ( SPY ).
