Nvidia continues to see a lot of noisy action on Wednesday as traders are dealing with strong earnings and financials within the company, but geopolitics continue to be an issue. NVDA Nvidia continues to see a lot of noisy behavior on Wednesday as it is currently stuck in a tug of war between excellent fundamentals and macro-induced share price analysis. The stock is trading a little bit higher today after a major regulatory breakthrough. Beijing has approved the sale of H200 AI chips in China, reopening a market that previously accounted for 20% of data center revenue. Further, this week's GTC conference has seen CEO Jensen Huang lay out a massive $1 trillion revenue forecast between now and 2027 driven by agentic AI and the Blackwell and Ruben architectures. Testing Technical Resistance Barriers Despite these catalysts, the stock remains tethered to a narrow range as investors weigh geopolitical tensions and high-interest rate expectations against the brutal math that Nvidia has to face for growth targets. The 50-day EMA sitting just above has a major influence on this market as well and therefore you have to look at this through the prism of a market that is banging up against a small barrier. If we can break above there, then the $195 level could be targeted. To the downside we have the 200-day EMA sitting at $173.74 followed by the $170 level offering support. This range has been held for months, and I see it remaining to be important. Ultimately, we are in the middle of a larger consolidation range and of course we ...

The issue that has created the most noise since Tuchel took charge is about how he has dealt with Jude Bellingham and the battle for the number 10 position. The Real Madrid midfielder was left out of the October camp after injury despite wanting to join up as Tuchel favoured keeping a settled group after excellent performances. Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers impressed in qualifying, starting five of England's eight group games, and has become the first-choice number 10. "Rather than finding positions for my best players just so that I can have them on the field, I prefer to put everyone in their best positions and have some competition," Tuchel said when speaking about the pair going up against each other. There is no denying Bellingham is one of the best midfielders in the world when he is fit and in form, but the midfielder is currently working his way back from a hamstring injury and has not played since 1 February. It's easy to forget that Bellingham is just 22, given he has already produced some iconic moments for England such as his last-gasp bicycle kick against Slovakia at Euro 2024 and his assist for Cole Palmer's goal in the final. Tuchel has made a point about how his England team need to be settled and united, but if Bellingham is producing his best for Madrid at the end of the season, the England manager has a very difficult decision on his hands. Chelsea's Cole Palmer, who has also had injury problems this season, has barely played under Tuchel, featuring for just 65 minutes. And Phil Foden's role is not clear in this England squad - he was called up as a back-up striker for the last camp and assisted Eberechi Eze in the win over Serbia at Wembley in November from that position.

A charity watchdog has taken control of a learning disability care home in Northamptonshire that is under investigation after residents’ families raised concerns over its management, including payments of £1m to a trustee. The Charity Commission has appointed an interim manager to run William Blake House, which faces potential insolvency in three weeks’ time if it cannot head off a winding-up order brought by the tax authorities over £1.6m in unpaid tax bills. The move, which freezes out the current board of trustees, is a victory for an activist group of families whose adult children are residents at the home. They campaigned for change after discovering the parlous state of the charity’s finances last autumn. They began to get political traction in February after the Guardian revealed the scale of the financial concerns. Earlier this month the Liberal Democrat leader, Ed Davey, accused a William Blake House trustee of “embezzlement” at prime minister’s question time in the House of Commons. William Blake House in Northamptonshire is one of only a handful of specialist residential homes in England for adults with profound and complex learning disabilities. The residents are mostly non-verbal and require round-the-clock support. The appointment of an interim manager over the heads of the existing board happens when the commission considers the consequences of not acting would be a major risk of harm to the charity’s finances, assets, services, beneficiaries or reputation. Davey has convened a meeting between the families and HMRC next week to discuss the possibility of delaying the winding-up order until plans to bring in a new organisation to run the home for its 22 residents can be brought to fruition. “We’re very relieved an independent manager has been appointed by the Charity Commission,” the families said in a statement. “Now we have to move quickly to secure the future for our loved ones. The meeting with HMRC will be critical to that.” The families have prop...

JasonDoiy Samsung Electronics ( SSNLF ) plans to invest more than 110T won (about $73.3B) on facilities and research and development in 2026 to "secure leadership in the AI semiconductor era." The South Korean tech giant said in a regulatory filing that it also plans to pursue meaningful mergers and acquisitions in future growth sectors, including advanced robotics, MedTech, automotive electronics, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, or HVAC. Samsung noted that it plans to pay 9.8T won in regular dividends for 2026. South Korean companies Samsung and SK hynix are among the largest memory chipmaking companies in the world. SK hynix is a major supplier of high-bandwidth memory, or HBM, chips to Nvidia ( NVDA ). Samsung and American company Micron Technology ( MU ) also compete with SK hynix in this space. Samsung said in the filing that its target is to secure a strong and sustainable leadership position in the high-value-added memory market, including HBM. In addition, the company plans to strengthen product competitiveness through improved investment efficiency. Samsung also plans to reorganize the business structure toward future-oriented businesses driven by AI innovation, such as AI and advanced robotics, to secure mid-to-long-term growth momentum. On Wednesday, Samsung announced a tentative agreement with Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) to expand their collaboration on next-generation AI memory and computing technologies. This came on the heels of Nvidia's ( NVDA ) CEO Jensen Huang announcing a foundry partnership with Samsung under which the South Korean company will make Groq chips. Nvidia (NVDA 0.80%) supplies the world's best graphics processing units (GPUs) for the data center, which are the primary chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) development. The company has an incredible amount of pricing power right now because demand continues to outstrip supply, which is driving a surge in its revenue and earnings. Nvidia will start shipping its next generation of AI chips in the second half of this year. They are based on its new Vera Rubin architecture, which offers substantial improvements in performance and cost relative to its industry-leading Blackwell architecture. Vera Rubin chips are expected to fuel an acceleration in Nvidia's revenue and earnings, which could translate into significant returns for the company's shareholders. Here's where I predict Nvidia stock will be in two years. Vera Rubin could be Nvidia's most sought-after AI platform yet Nvidia's GB300 GPU, which is based on its Blackwell Ultra architecture, is the most in-demand AI data center chip on the market right now. When configured in Nvidia's NVLink 72 data center rack, the GB300 offers up to 50 times more performance than the company's original AI data center chip, the H100, which was introduced in 2022. Greater performance can translate into more powerful AI models, and it can also lower costs by accelerating development timelines. The Vera Rubin platform includes the Rubin GPU, the Vera CPU, the new NVLink 6 switches, and other networking hardware. Nvidia says it's so powerful that developers will be able to run the same AI training workloads with 75% fewer GPUs compared to Blackwell. Serving AI software to users will also be substantially cheaper, because Rubin reduces inference token costs by a staggering 90%. Inference tokens are consumed when an AI model ingests an input from a user and generates an output in response. They can be words, images, or even videos, and they cost money to produce, which is why most AI companies charge their customers based on their...

What's the best-performing sector so far in 2026? The answer probably won't be a shocker: It's the energy sector. Skyrocketing oil prices have propelled many energy stocks into the stratosphere. You could throw a dart at a board full of energy stock names and likely land on a good stock to scoop up. However, I think three energy stocks stand out as especially no-brainer picks to buy right now. 1. ExxonMobil ExxonMobil (XOM 0.78%) truly is a no-brainer to top our list. It's the world's second-largest energy company by market cap (trailing behind only Saudi Aramco) and the largest U.S. energy company. But ExxonMobil isn't a great stock to buy solely because of its size. The company is arguably the world's most efficient cash flow machine. ExxonMobil generates roughly $1 billion in free cash flow every two weeks when oil is priced at $100 or more per barrel. Expand NYSE : XOM ExxonMobil Today's Change ( -0.78 %) $ -1.23 Current Price $ 157.58 Key Data Points Market Cap $657B Day's Range $ 157.56 - $ 160.14 52wk Range $ 97.80 - $ 160.45 Volume 762K Avg Vol 21M Gross Margin 21.56 % Dividend Yield 2.56 % This energy giant is also remarkably efficient at oil production. Its proprietary proppant (a material used in fracking) enables ExxonMobil to recover around 20% more oil per acre than rivals. The company is developing new technologies that it expects to double its recovery levels in the next decade. ExxonMobil's dividends also offer attractive returns for shareholders. The forward dividend yield is roughly 2.6%. The company has increased its dividend for an impressive 43 consecutive years by a compound annual growth rate of around 6%. ExxonMobil distributed $150 billion of cash to shareholders between 2021 and 2025. In 2025, it distributed more cash than all but five members of the S&P 500 (^GSPC 1.36%). 2. Chevron Chevron (CVX +0.28%) ranks as the world's third-largest energy company by market cap. Its acquisition of Hess last year has strengthened the company's positio...
