Cavan Images/iStock via Getty Images Background The stock of Oddity Tech Limited ( ODD ), a consumer tech business from Israel that has crafted some interesting digital-first brands (IL Makiage, SpoiledChild, ME+HODIQ) in the field of beauty and wellness, has experienced a shift in narrative since my last hold-rated coverage on the stock in July 2025 . If I may remind investors, back then, I decided to pivot from my previous buy rating (issued in December 2024 ), as I viewed ODD as one of the more overbought stocks in the online retail space, and also wasn’t very comfortable with the valuations that the stock was trading at; the onset of a potentially seasonally weaker period in H2-25, also provided further support to dial down the enthusiasm. The shift in stance appears to have paid off, as ODD has lost a great deal of ground since then, collapsing by -83% and grossly underperforming other online retail and Israeli stocks, which are up by around 12% and 30%, respectively (on average). YCharts Separately, those who have regard for Seeking Alpha’s Quant rating system may be troubled to note that it is now the lowest-rated stock within the ‘Personal products’ universe. After a disastrous 10 months when the stock has also fallen down the popularity charts, am I prepared to upgrade ODD once again, or is it prudent to stay away? Valuations Are In A Better Place, And Buyback Support Is Welcome For starters, it’s worth considering that the erstwhile deterrent of steep valuations is no longer present, and ODD is now actually priced at a discount to its long-term averages. This new valuation narrative is present across the board, regardless of which metric one looks at. If we may provide more detail, note that on an earnings basis, ODD is now priced at a multiple of only 18x, which translates to a 36% discount over its long-term average, and on the EBITDA front, the multiple of over 15x represents a 20% discount. If it's free cash you’re looking at, you’ll see that at the cu...

FabrikaCr/iStock via Getty Images By Elior Manier US stock indexes are reaching new all-time highs today, fueled by strong global risk appetite. The S&P 500 has moved past the 7,500 level, while the Nasdaq is also setting new records. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has climbed back above 50,000. The Chairman Warsh trade is leading market activity. Investors see his confirmation as Federal Reserve Chair as positive for stocks. Large investors are moving money into growth and risk-oriented assets, while other asset classes are seeing less demand. Precious metals, which recently benefited from safe-haven buying, are now giving back some of their gains as market fears ease. This rise in stocks is global, with international indexes also rising, signalling broad risk appetite. The ongoing diplomatic summit between President Trump and China's Xi Jinping is also supporting the rally. Investors are encouraged by the positive tone from Beijing. This important meeting is improving investor sentiment and offers hope that the global economy will move away from the deglobalization trends seen in 2025. While markets are rallying, the Federal Reserve is also seeing major changes. Kevin Warsh has joined the Fed board as its new leader, and Miran is stepping down. Since there has been no official statement about Jerome Powell leaving, Wall Street assumes he will stay on the Board of Governors for now. Daily Market Performance (15:18). American world No 1 among those shooting 3-under 67s Rory McIlroy finishes on four-over after four straight bogeys It was gridlock on the opening day of the US PGA, where the leaderboard was backed up like Philly traffic. By the time it was all over, seven men were tied in the lead on three-under par, and another 42 were within three shots of them. Altogether a third of the field was within easy reach of the lead. It was record for a major championship, and they have been playing them since 1860. There are 16 major winners spread among them, including, ominously for everyone else, that man Scottie Scheffler. All the talk before the tournament was that it would be a turkey shoot, but it turned out to be one long tailback. The only thing missing was the traffic police. Actually they had one of them, too, or something near enough. A rules official on the first tee gave the 27-year-old South African Garrick Higgo a two-shot penalty for arriving 30 seconds late from the practice green. He still shot a 69. The really odd thing was that in a field where even a man who dropped two shots because he missed his tee time managed to end the day in contention, a couple of the biggest names in the game wound up all but out of it.
