On Tuesday, Meta launched Muse Image and previewed Muse Video, the first media generation models developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs. Muse Image uses advanced reasoning to turn multiple photos into high-quality creations that can be shared anywhere. The Meta Superintelligence Labs had launched the Muse Spark model in April. Analysts led by Laura Martin said that Muse Image powers Instagram, WhatsApp, Meta Al, and future creative tools for ad buyers, implying this product will drive near-term monetization upside. "What we like most about these new products is that it implies that Meta is shifting away from open-source Llama models towards proprietary Al models optimized for consumer engagement and advertising, which should drive monetization upside. Better image generation for advertisers and creators should elongate consumer engagement and elevate ad buyers' ROAS [return on ad spend], allowing META to be a beneficiary of Al rather than being replaced by it," said Martin and her team. Analyst Steven Cahall set a price target of $18 per share, representing about a 15% downside from the stock's last close at $21.09. Cahall also flagged AT&T ( T ) as the least likely among major US carriers to strike a partnership with SpaceX's ( SPCX ) Starlink Mobile MVNO, adding, "We see T as least likely to strike a Starlink Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement, which means fiber/convergence would need to outperform to deliver account net add & services revenue upside". Cahall also said AT&T's fiber business remains a key growth opportunity, forecasting fiber revenue to rise to 14% of the total revenue by 2032 from 8% in 2026. He expects fiber locations served to increase to about 54 million by 2032 from roughly 21 million in 2023. However, Cahall also warned that the customers outside AT&T's fiber footprint remain vulnerable to competition, adding, "With satellite pressuring the FWA industry-wide, T is most at risk to net add and pre-paid account share loss in our view, even despite fiber". The brokerage estimates a 20% chance of an AT&T-Starlink MVNO deal (vs. 30% for TMUS and 40% for VZ), which could lift its valuation to about $27 per share. Without a partnership, the firm values AT&T ( T ) at about $16 per share.
