That and the Lynk&Co have done much of the heavy lifting in achieving over 3 million units sold in 2025 and revenue reaching CNY345 billion, up 44%. Profitability was also robust amid upped R&D spendings. The market reacted extremely positively after the announcement of FY25 results in mid-March after months of decline due to policy headwinds where the market was reading into the implications of "anti-involution" and pulled subsidies in late 2025. Amid all this, Geely was one of the resilient players in the entire industry. Its H-share had surged over ~HKD22 vs. the HKD15 low in the past 6 months. The extreme movement does not reflect fundamentals purely in my opinion, and the market could have been a little over-excited after the year-end results. Geely's resilience vs. peers Seeking Alpha 2025 results were on-par with my expectations back in September. The positive surprises were resilient gross margin (16.6% vs. 15.9% in 2024) amid a bull year for commodities, and the lack of "anti-involution" impact since early-to-mid 2025. Regulators have been advocating for automakers to shorten the time to pay suppliers. This year, none of the automakers have shown any progress on this front, the same goes for Geely. Given that a core assumption from my earlier thesis was that by shortening the payment duration would squeeze working capital, and therefore reduce short-term cash flows, this becomes a lingering risk. My previous target price was HKD24 per share, that incorporates a strong growth expectations in 2025. As we move beyond, growth will normalize amid policy cool-down on the subsidy front. Intel 's (NASDAQ: INTC) stock has had a fantastic year, but it is still below its all-time highs. While Intel has been seen as a loser in the artificial intelligence (AI) era and a technology laggard, both perceptions may soon flip to the positive after its upcoming earnings report. On its fourth-quarter earnings release, Intel gave lackluster first-quarter guidance, sending shares down from their highs. However, management explained that the lower Q1 revenue is due to Intel converting some of its production lines from client CPUs to server CPUs. Since it can take months to produce an advanced chip, Intel had to first finish ongoing client CPU production, then begin production of the new server chips, leading to a months-long supply "hole." However, those server chips should have just begun coming out of Intel's fabs at the end of March. JP Carnevalli Embraer ( EMBJ ) on Thursday said it plans to display two of its military aircraft at the upcoming FIDAE air show in Santiago, scheduled for April 7-12 at Pudahuel Air Base. The company will present a KC-390 Millennium transport aircraft with a new exterior livery, marking its first appearance in Latin America in that configuration. The A-29 Super Tucano, a turboprop aircraft used for light attack and training missions, will also be exhibited. KC-390 (Embraer) The KC-390 is a medium-sized military transport aircraft designed to carry cargo and personnel, as well as conduct missions such as medical evacuation, aerial refueling and search and rescue. It is capable of operating from unpaved runways and can be configured to serve as either a tanker or a receiver for aerial refueling. Several countries have selected the KC-390 for their air forces, including Brazil, Portugal and Hungary, as well as others in Europe and Asia. The aircraft is part of a newer generation of transport platforms incorporating updated radar and mission systems. A-290 Super Tucano (Embraer) The A-29 Super Tucano is used by more than 20 air forces worldwide, including multiple countries in Latin America. The aircraft is designed for a range of missions, including pilot training, reconnaissance, border surveillance and close air support. According to Embraer, the A-29 has accumulated more than 600,000 flight hours and is designed to operate in austere environments with relatively low maintenance requirements. FIDAE is one of the region’s largest aerospace and defense exhibitions, drawing participation from manufacturers, military organizations and government officials.
