Wirestock/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Belgium chose the Cessna SkyCourier aircraft for its Special Operations Forces, placing an order for five aircraft in a move that introduces the platform into military service for the first time. Artist rendering of Cessna SkyCourier with Belgian livery (Textron Aviation Defense) The aircraft will be supplied by Textron Aviation , a subsidiary of Textron ( TXT ) , with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. Aircraft to support transport and crisis missions Belgium plans to use the SkyCourier fleet for a range of missions, including transporting personnel and equipment, as well as supporting logistics, medical evacuation and crisis response operations. The aircraft will first be delivered to Sabena Engineering , which will carry out modifications and certification work in Belgium before transferring the planes to the country’s Special Operations Forces. First military adoption for the platform The selection represents the first confirmed military use of the SkyCourier, a twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed for cargo and utility roles. Travis Tyler, president and chief executive, Textron Aviation Defense, said in a statement that the decision indicates growing interest from armed forces in using the aircraft for demanding operational environments. The executive pointed to the aircraft’s ability to operate from short or less-developed runways, along with its cost profile, as factors contributing to its appeal for military customers. Local industry role in modifications Sabena Engineering will be responsible for integrating mission-specific systems and completing certification work within Belgium. The company’s chief executive said the arrangement allows the aircraft to be tailored to operational needs while supporting domestic aerospace capabilities. Belgium’s selection comes amid broader demand from governments for multi-role aircraft that can be adapted to different mission requ...

Hackers working on behalf of the Iranian government are disrupting operations at multiple US critical infrastructure sites, likely in response to the country's ongoing war with the US, a half-dozen government agencies are warning. In an advisory published Tuesday, the FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, National Security Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and US Cyber Command “urgently" warned that the APT, or advanced persistent threat group, is targeting PLCs, short for programmable logic controllers. These devices, typically the size of a toaster, sit in factories, water treatment centers, oil refineries, and other industrial settings, often in remote locations. They provide an interface between computers used for automation and physical machinery. Operational disruption and financial loss “Since at least March 2026, the authoring agencies identified (through engagements with victim organizations) an Iranian-affiliated APT-group that disrupted the function of PLCs,” the advisory stated. “These PLCs were deployed across multiple US critical infrastructure sectors (including Government Services and Facilities, Waste Water Systems (WWS), and Energy sectors) within a wide variety of industrial automation processes. Some of the victims experienced operational disruption and financial loss.” Read full article Comments

Images By Tang Ming Tung/DigitalVision via Getty Images Amid a very volatile stock market in 2026, the best move for investors is to be very active and vigilant. Valuations and fundamental stories are changing in real time, especially as a choppy macroeconomy impacts weaker companies more harshly. Stock selection is key here, as is the ability to change our minds as stocks move. Kura Sushi ( KRUS ), a smaller sushi restaurant chain that originated in Japan and now has just shy of 100 locations in the United States, is a stock that I'm becoming more optimistic about. The company just released strong fiscal Q2 (February quarter) results. The stock fell ~15% post-earnings, though we do note that the company benefited from some valuation froth earlier in the year that needed correcting. Is this the right time to buy the dip in Kura Sushi, or is it the beginning of a deeper correction? Data by YCharts I last wrote a "Sell" article on Kura Sushi in January, when the stock was trading in the mid-$60s. Since then, a number of factors have moved in Kura Sushi's favor. Comp sales have meaningfully improved (though trends have been very choppy in the past, so we're not quick to declare victory just yet). The company has also achieved a meaningful bump in restaurant profit margins, alongside a boost to full-year guidance expectations. I'm turning cautiously optimistic on this stock, though I am wary of several risks that remain. With all this in mind, I'm raising my rating on Kura Sushi to "N eutral." At current share prices, I see more of a balanced bull and bear case for this company. On the bright side for Kura: Amid restaurant chains, there is white space in the United States for a sushi brand. There are countless burger, burrito, and pizza chains. Few national brands exist, if at all, for sushi, giving Kura Sushi an enviable first-mover advantage in creating a widespread footprint. Effectively chasing operating efficiencies. At a time when many restaurant chains are strugg...

The US Justice Department’s top antitrust litigator and three senior trial attorneys that led cases against Live Nation Entertainment Inc. , Apple Inc. and Alphabet Inc. ’s Google are leaving the agency, according to people familiar with their plans. Some of the departures stem from anger among the antitrust staff about a surprise March 9 settlement with Live Nation and concerns about whether the division is committed to litigating pending cases, according to the people, who asked not to be named discussing internal agency dynamics. The Justice Department settled an antitrust case accusing Live Nation of illegally monopolizing the live events industry one week after the start of a New York federal jury trial. The deal was negotiated without the input of the trial team, catching even the lead counsel by surprise. The Justice Department settlement — which stopped short of a breakup and allowed Live Nation to keep Ticketmaster — also came as a shock to dozens of states that had signed on to the lawsuit. More than 30 of them continued the trial, which is wrapping up Thursday. Read More: Secret Deal to Avoid Ticketmaster Breakup Spurs Frantic Week David Dahlquist , the Justice Department’s acting director of civil antitrust litigation, announced his resignation Wednesday during a hearing in the government’s case against Google for illegally monopolizing the online search industry. “I have given my notice,” Dahlquist said at the hearing and introduced a colleague who will helm the litigation going forward. He didn’t give a reason for his departure in court. Dahlquist joined the Justice Department in August 2022 and served as the lead trial counsel for the Live Nation monopolization case and the 2025 remedy trial against Google. The Justice Department has seen record numbers of departures since the Trump administration started in January 2025 as thousands of experienced prosecutors were either fired or resigned. The antitrust division initially experienced fewer exits than...

While Nvidia remains the poster child for the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure buildout, it has been far from the best-performing stock in the space over the past year. While Nvidia's stock is up a strong 60% over this period, Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) has a 300% gain, and Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) is up nearly 1,400%. Micron and Sandisk are both riding strong trends in the memory market, although they are involved in different aspects of it. What's even crazier is that even after these huge gains, both Micron and Sandisk still trade at modest forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratios. Micron trades at a forward P/E of 3.7 times fiscal 2027 (ending August 2027) analysts' earnings estimates, while Sandisk trades at an 8 times multiple for its fiscal 2027 ending in June 2027. While both are seeing huge growth and have what appear to be attractive valuations, whether the stocks are good buys at current levels is a bit more complicated. Let's dive in and see how they got here and what's next. Continue reading

Pictured from left to right: Yenna Yunaina, president director, YASA–SAM Air; Tony Jones, vice president of Asia-Pacific sales, Textron Aviation; Jo Andri Mulyono, director, SAM Air (Textron Aviation) PT Semuwa Aviasi Mandiri, part of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal and operating as Yasa–SAM Air, plans to use the aircraft for a mix of cargo transport, passenger flights and weather modification missions, according to the announcement. Fleet expansion to support regional operations The company currently operates one Cessna Caravan and one Cessna Grand Caravan EX, which are used for charter and logistics services, including the transport of critical supplies. The additional aircraft is expected to increase capacity for domestic routes and support operations in areas with limited infrastructure. Indonesia’s geography, which includes thousands of islands, often requires aircraft capable of operating in remote or rugged environments with shorter runways. Multi-role missions The Cessna Caravan family, produced by Textron Aviation , has been in service for decades and is commonly used for a range of missions, including cargo transport, regional passenger service and humanitarian operations. More than 3,100 aircraft have been delivered globally, accumulating over 25 million flight hours, according to the company. The planes are used in more than 100 countries and are often deployed in regions where flexibility and short-field performance are required. Company executives from both the manufacturer and the Indonesian operator said in a statement that the aircraft’s operational flexibility and ability to reach remote locations were factors in the purchase, emphasizing its role in supporting logistics a...
