French aerospace startup Aura Aero on Wednesday said it completed a €50 million ($58.3 million) funding round, bringing its total funding to €340 million as it prepares to transition from development to industrial-scale production. The company also cited secured grants in France and Europe, along with support from the State of Florida for a planned U.S. manufacturing site, as part of its broader financing base. Funding supports expansion Aura Aero said the new capital will be used to advance several priorities, including the first flight of its hybrid-electric regional aircraft, ERA, increasing production of its Integral aircraft line, and expanding drone operations under its Enbata program. The company is also investing in manufacturing infrastructure, with planned industrial sites in Toulouse and Daytona Beach, Florida. A building permit has been granted for its facility at Toulouse-Francazal Airport, while a 16-hectare site has been secured near Daytona Beach International Airport for its U.S. operations. Antoine Blin, the company’s chief of staff, said in a statement that Aura Aero is moving beyond early-stage planning. “Funding, firm orders, and manufacturing facilities are no longer just prospects, they are realities,” he said, adding that the company is preparing to accelerate development with support from institutional and industrial partners. They targeted individual U.S. military members, the U.S. government, and critical infrastructure in which the Russian government expected to gain intelligence. NLCP Stock Price I last covered NLCP in December , where I named it a top pick following President Trump’s executive order to expedite cannabis rescheduling. The stock initially performed well but has since given up much of those gains. Data by YCharts There has yet to be further progress on rescheduling, and the company is facing its share of tenant turmoil. Even so, the stock remains too cheap given the strong balance sheet. NLCP Stock Key Metrics NLCP is a real estate investment trust ("REIT") focused on the cannabis sector, meaning it has invested the majority of its capital in cannabis cultivation facilities and dispensaries. The net lease structure means that the tenants are responsible for real estate taxes, insurance, and maintenance expenses. This is a popular structure with investors due to the high implied cash flow margins. The concentration in the cannabis sector has meant that the company also has a highly concentrated tenant base. 2025 Q4 Presentation Why is rescheduling so important for NLCP? Rescheduling cannabis to Schedule III would have significant financial implications for the tenants. We can see below that NLCP’s estimated 4-wall coverage ranks top tier among net lease peers. Yet the stock trades at a double-digit dividend yield, implying considerable risk. I stated that it makes the most sense to only buy HOOW after a large pullback and when Robinhood Markets, Inc. ( HOOD ) is primed to see positive momentum higher. Little did I know at the time, the markets would experience a sharp selloff that was driven by the sentiment of the technology sector and rising global tensions with Iran. Since my last coverage, HOOW's share price has declined by more than 46.6%. Following this decline, I believe that HOOW is now more attractively valued since market indices have the potential to rebound now that a lot of the AI concerns are behind us. Looking at the performance over the last twelve months, we can see that HOOW's share price has now declined by nearly 58%. Even when including all distributions that were paid out to shareholders, the total return still sits at a loss of 21.1% over the same time frame. According to the latest declared weekly distribution, the fund now offers an estimated annual distribution rate of 51%. While this makes HOOW a strong income generator within a diversified portfolio, this is a high risk/high reward fund. Therefore, HOOW may not be the best buy-and-hold income fund and it requires strategic positioning upon entry. Data by YCharts One of the main risks is that payouts can wildly vary over time, which makes it hard to use HOOW as a buy-and-hold income position. The fund is better utilized as a strategic position to capture amplified upside of Robinhood's stock. The fund does tend to prioritize return of capital distributions, which offer tax-efficiency, but also exacerbate risks related to NAV erosion. I believe that Robinhood has an attractive growth outlook and investors will be able to get amplified 1.2x exposure with HOOW despite its risks. The fund has done quite well in gathering cash in the past two years, as we can see from the graph above. In today's article we are going to revisit the name in light of today's macro environment and showcase the current holdings. We were the first service to cover this name on the Seeking Alpha platform back in 2023, and we own the ETF. Multi-Sector Fund The ETF takes a multi-sector approach, which has not changed: Holdings (Fund Website) Securitized products represent 36% of the holdings, followed by investment-grade credit at 19% and government-related securities at 17%. The high-yield bucket has been decreased to 6.8% from 11% the last time we covered the name. The fund falls in the intermediate duration category, with an effective duration of 4.7 years and an effective maturity of 8.4 years. Remember that duration takes into account the discounting of cash flows, while the maturity profile is a static representation of the principal repayment schedule. The fund does a good job of breaking down other sensitivities as well: Mortgage spread duration: 2.6 years Corporate spread duration: 3.1 years EM duration: 0.44 years The fund contains a high segment of non-rated assets, but in terms of the securities which have a rating, the composition is overweight investment grade. This puts the name as most sensitive to intermediate rates, followed by credit spreads.
