Realistic break-even levels are in sight, and realistic profits are likely to be seen going forward thanks to recent cost-cutting efforts. By now, the valuation might be cheap enough to contemplate a position here, in the full understanding that this is a highly speculative position. Solid Growth—Collapsing Stock In February, Atlassian reported a 23% increase in second-quarter sales, that is, for the quarter that ended on December 31, 2025. Revenues were reported at $1.59 billion. Despite the strong growth and formidable revenue base, Atlassian still reported a GAAP operating loss of $47 million, down a little from the year before. In all fairness, GAAP earnings were depressed by a $25 million amortization charge, as otherwise there were some small, realistic losses reported. The company reports large adjusted earnings, but these are very adjusted, including nearly half a billion dollars of stock-based compensation expense. The cash flow statement revealed that some $1.2 billion was spent on M&A during the quarter, following the completion of the deal for DX as well as The Browser Company of New York.
