bodnarchuk/iStock via Getty Images Barrick Mining ( B ) is considering a possible London listing for its African business, potentially via an all-stock deal with U.K.-listed Endeavour Mining ( EDVMF ) as a possible option, Reuters reported Monday. Under one scenario being explored, Barrick ( B ) would retain its Toronto listing as a holding company that would own shares in the NYSE-listed Barrick and a separate Africa-focused entity listed in London, according to the report , which added that such a move would repeat the company's actions two decades ago when it spun off its Africa business and listed in the U.K. as Acacia before later reacquiring it. Barrick ( B ) CEO Mark Hill has said the company will look to sell its mines in African countries and in places where it does not own majority control but has management control, such as Papua New Guinea. Endeavour ( EDVMF ) has been looking out for mining assets to grow its business, and its presence in Africa makes it a strategic fit for Barrick's ( B ) potential move, Reuters reported, citing a banker in the mining M&A space. JHVEPhoto/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Marvell Technology ( MRVL ) released the Teralynx T100 in what the company described as the industry's first 102.4 Tbps switch silicon that was purposely built for AI infrastructure. Shares were up about 5% by noon trading on Monday. The semiconductor firm also said the T100 uses up to 25% less power than competitive solutions. "As AI workloads evolve and scale exponentially, hyperscalers require network architectures that optimize latency, power, and scalability simultaneously," said Rishi Chugh , vice president and general manager of the Data Center Switch Business Unit at Marvell. "The Teralynx T100 was purpose-built for AI—designed without the legacy baggage that inflates power and engineered to deliver the deterministic performance and efficiency required to scale next-generation data center infrastructure." Marvell plans for customers to begin sampling the product this quarter. Marvell shares have surged more than 150% year to date as its portfolio of products continues to take advantage of the AI data center buildout. The company expects its revenue to climb 40% year over year during fiscal 2027 to nearly $11.5B. This follows a 42% revenue bump during fiscal 2026. Negotiations between Iran and the US reportedly broke down because of Israel’s expanded ground assault in Lebanon. Oil rose and stocks fell after Tasnim, a semi-official news agency associated with the country’s Islamic Republic Guard Corps, said efforts to reach an interim peace agreement were being suspended. Over the weekend, Israel expanded ground attacks in Lebanon with its broadest incursion into the country in a quarter-century as Hezbollah — Iran’s most powerful regional ally — stepped up attacks on Israel’s north. That escalation led some Iranians to declare the US in non-compliance of its commitment to include Lebanon in any ceasefire agreement. The development underscores the yawning gap between Washington and Tehran despite repeated assurances by Donald Trump that diplomatic progress was being made. Overnight, the US president assured his followers that talks over an interim deal would “ work out well ” even as clashes resumed near the Strait of Hormuz. — Jonathan Tirone What You Need to Know Today Ukraine launched a record number of attacks against Russian energy assets last month, curbing President Vladimir Putin’s ability to benefit from oil prices pushed higher amid the war on Iran. As a result of those strikes, the Kremlin today banned jet fuel exports through the end of November to avoid shortages. While the decision is unlikely to have any immediate impact on international fuel markets, it underscores how Ukraine’s military strategy is raising the cost for Russians. Lower refinery runs are putting pressure on the government to prevent a fuel crunch and spike in pump prices. Russian officials have warned Putin that war spending is on an unaffordable trajectory . The strikes against energy assets are another reminder that there’s still room for conflicts to escalate — both in Europe and the Middle East. France’s navy boarded another oil tanker on the high seas after it sailed from Russia, the latest move in a global crackdown on vessels used to expo...

The Prince Of Darkness's Shadow Phone: Mandelson's Refusal Exposes Starmer's Transparency Farce Peter Mandelson spent much of the past four decades at the center of British power : New Labour architect, Blair-era fixer, former cabinet minister, lobbyist, peer, and one of Westminster's most notorious survivors. Oh, and he was sliding Jeffrey Epstein actionable inside info. His old nickname, the "Prince of Darkness," was never subtle . It captured both his political skill and the suspicion that Mandelson was most comfortable operating where influence, money, and private access overlap. Today, Ministers released more than 1,500 pages - three bulging volumes of emails, handwritten notes, and more than 160 pages of WhatsApps - in what they billed as "unprecedented transparency" over Mandelson's disastrous stint as Britain's ambassador to Washington. And of course, guess what: Mandelson flat-out refused to hand over his personal phone, and that's pretty much that . Cabinet Office solicitors formally requested access on March 31; he declined to comply. The government admitted it had "no further recourse." MP David Davis called this a "National Security Issue." So the twice disgraced, Epstein-tainted, and forever scheming – was handed one of Britain's most sensitive diplomatic jobs despite flashing red lights. Now, even as Keir Starmer's government tries to publish its way out of scandal, the most important communications may remain exactly where Mandelson wants them: out of sight. Vetting Catastrophe In January of 2025, UK Security recommended denying Mandelson high-level clearance given concerns over his web of contacts in China, Russia, and Israel , a £1m loan linked to an Israeli startup, and his lobbying firm Global Counsel's sticky client list . Epstein ties added "general reputational risk." Foreign Office officials overruled the recommendation the next day with scant written mitigations. Starmer claims he was never properly briefed – calling it "unforgivable." Top F...

JHVEPhoto/iStock Editorial via Getty Images L3Harris Technologies ( LHX ) said Monday it expanded its Advanced Manufacturing Facility-South in Huntsville, Alabama, through a $25 million investment that adds 130,000 square feet (12,077.4 m²) of manufacturing space. The expansion increases the company's total footprint in Huntsville to approximately 670,000 square feet (0.06 square kilometers) across three sites, according to L3Harris. The move comes as defense contractors across the United States increase production capacity in response to Pentagon efforts to replenish weapons inventories and expand manufacturing of missiles, munitions and related components. Industry executives and government officials have repeatedly cited supply-chain constraints and limited production capacity as challenges to meeting growing defense demand. For investors, Huntsville has become a focal point for defense manufacturing growth due to its concentration of missile, space and defense contractors, as well as its proximity to Redstone Arsenal and key U.S. Army and Missile Defense Agency operations. L3Harris ( LHX ) said the expanded facility will support production activities tied to its solid rocket motor programs. The company noted that Huntsville operations currently support more than half of its solid rocket motor programs through the production of inert components, with output increasing annually. "The additional space allows us to lean forward and surge capacity in a way that directly aligns with the Department of War's demand for critical munition acceleration," Ken Bedingfield, president of missile solutions at L3Harris, said in a statement. The company said the facility was able to expand using an existing building with infrastructure already in place, allowing production capacity to be added more quickly than would be possible through a new construction project. L3Harris also said it has increased its investment in Huntsville in recent years, including a threefold increase in c...
