Amazon Pharmacy began delivering GLP-1 medications in 2021, but does not stock injectable versions of the drugs in kiosks because they need to be refrigerated. No need for cold storage is "what allows for broader access and for them to be stored safely in a kiosk for dispensing," Tanvi Patel, a vice president at Amazon Pharmacy, said of the pills. About half of customers in the U.S. have access to same-day delivery, and the company aims to expand that, Patel said. All customers receive their medications within four days. Amazon Pharmacy fulfills prescriptions made through Eli Lilly's direct-to-consumer pharmacy platform LillyDirect and has been stocking Novo Nordisk's Wegovy pill at its kiosks since January. Patel said Amazon benefits from being Lilly's dispensing pharmacy because of the Indianapolis-based drugmaker's early direct-to-consumer focus. Lilly said last week it would begin selling its newly approved Foundayo weight-loss pill directly to cash-pay customers through LillyDirect at $149 per month for the lowest dose. Customers can also access Amazon's same-day delivery through Lilly's prescribing partners, such as WeightWatchers , said Patel. Novo's rival Wegovy pill, which began selling in January, is currently stocked in five kiosks in California, where customers can pick up the drugs at Amazon's One Medical locations following a medical appointment. For all four days of the tournament, Prime Video will produce live coverage of Amen Corner, the famed 11th, 12th and 13th holes at Augusta. Amazon's "Inside Amen Corner" will feature advanced stats and bespoke camera angles designed to give the viewer a look at how different players attack the three holes strategically. The streamer will also have coverage of the 15th and 16th holes for all four days and showcase certain featured groups, though it will not produce that content. Amazon is the fourth-ever media partner for Augusta National, led by Chairman Fred Ridley, following Paramount's CBS, Versant -owned USA Network (1982 through 2007) and Disney's ESPN. imaginima/E+ via Getty Images T he ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas ETF ( BOIL ) seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to two times (2x) the daily performance of the Bloomberg Natural Gas Subindex℠ . The single word here, which is daily, is the main problem with holding this. With daily compounding decay, a steep Henry Hub futures curve, and a mean-reversion occurring on natural gas itself, are all bad omens for BOIL heading into the spring shoulder season. With front-month NYMEX NATGAS at roughly $2.80/MMBtu and the strip pricing in a seasonal winter premium rather than year-round tightness, the expected roll cost alone is enough to cause BOIL to tumble, without a directional rally to the upside, with leverage doubling the pain in this scenario. I am initiating BOIL as a strong sell on Seeking Alpha, expecting BOIL to underperform its commodity benchmark by over 15% over the next year in a base case scenario. What BOIL is BOIL seeks a 200% return on the Bloomberg Natural Gas subindex, which is a rolling front-month futures basket. Daily leveraged ETFs are not buy and hold instruments, and ProShares also discloses this materially within their funds prospectus . The fund has about $440mm in AUM with a gross expense ratio of 1.47 %. The trailing one-year NAV return is about –79%, which doesn’t really have to do with whether natural gas itself is up or down within the same timeframe, but it is the residue of daily leverage resets, contango roll, and fees compounding against something very volatile (a commodity). Granted, commodities are widely different than equities, and investors should be extremely careful when investing in a fund that deals with commodities, and understand the unique risks associated with those types of investments. Kenya has spent nearly $1 billion of its hard-currency reserves since the war began, and is prepared to deploy more of its firepower to curb excessive weakness in the shilling, central bank governor Kamau Thugge said Thursday. Authorities used about $941 million in the four weeks to April 2, he said. That has helped keep the shilling at around 129 per dollar, within a narrow band where it’s traded for nearly two years. While the currency briefly weakened beyond 130 earlier this week amid a global market selloff, it traded around 129.20 against the greenback on Thursday, about 0.5% firmer on the day. Thugge said the central bank’s warchest was adequate to buffer Kenya against domestic and external shocks. Reserves currently stand at $13.35 billion, equating to 5.7 months worth of imports, the central bank said in a statement after its policy meeting Wednesday. “We have strengthened our buffers,” Thugge told journalists in an online briefing. “We were waiting for this kind of shock.” “With the amount of reserves that we have, we should be able to manage volatility in the shilling-dollar exchange rate going forward,” he added. While the central bank did not give a breakdown of how the $941 million had been spent, Thugge said reserves are also used to repay foreign debt. A $47.5 million coupon payment on Kenya’s 2036 eurobond fell due early last month. The company filed the change as part of new articles of incorporation in Nevada. Its ticker symbol won't change, though; it will continue to trade on Nasdaq as AMCX. The news comes ahead of a high-profile weekend launch for the company: The Audacity, a new series set in Silicon Valley from Jonathan Glatzer. “Our new name reflects the ongoing transformation of our business into a global media and studio-driven company, with streaming out front as our leading source of domestic revenue,” CEO Kristin Dolan said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “AMC Global Media produces and curates high-quality content and distributes it to viewers around the world through a variety of platforms and partnerships.” Earlier this week, the company's chief accounting officer, Michael J. In September 2025, I downgraded Volaris shares from Strong Buy to Buy on U.S. market turmoil following increased immigration rhetoric that could lead to a drop in transborder VFR (Visiting Friends and Family) traffic. Generally, I do believe that the company has managed well as it also deals with the GTF engine crisis at RTX Corporation ( RTX ) that keeps parts of its fleet grounded. However, increasing fuel prices provide a challenging background for Volaris. Volaris Set To Combine With Viva In December, Volaris and Viva announced that the two companies would merge. The objective goes beyond realizing synergies and into the realm of obtaining a stronger position to negotiate airplane leases and provide the combination with a stronger competitive position. The deal will be financed through the issuance of shares, making Viva shareholders 50% owners of the combined company. So, there is a big change coming up for Volaris shareholders. Volaris Is Highly Dependent On Oil Price Development Unsurprisingly, Volaris stock price surged 12.2% in the most recent trading session in a broader market rally following the ceasefire in Iran. However, we note that the stock price is still substantially below the pre-war price setting. My concern with the broader market move up, including the rally in oil prices ( CO1:COM ), is that the ceasefire on which the rally is based, reflecting hopes on oil supply to recover, is fragile. The reality is that GDP impact and potential inflation impacts are still there as high oil prices and elevated crack spreads.
