Alex Potemkin/iStock via Getty Images The Thesis In past quarters, the engineering and construction company, Comfort Systems USA (NYSE: FIX ), has become one of the largest beneficiaries of accelerating AI data center construction across North America. Moving into 2026, the company delivered a solid 56% expansion across its topline, with the technology sector revenue more than doubling during Q1 . While demand trends remain robust across North America, particularly in the key data center end market, and a record ~12.5 billion backlog continues to provide solid visibility, I expect FIX to continue to see sustained double-digit topline growth through the rest of 2026. Meanwhile, for profitability, FIX's focus on strong execution, disciplined cost management, and a more favorable mix should be key growth drivers for margin expansion in the quarters ahead. Since my last bullish article, the FIX stock has significantly outperformed the broader market, rising by approximately 40% during the period. Although the stock continues to trade at a premium, I believe the valuation remains justified due to the company's strong near-term growth visibility and favorable longer-term exposure to the AI infrastructure trends. These factors suggest maintaining a bullish stance, making the FIX stock a compelling buy at the present valuation. FIX's Q1' FY26 Highlights A couple of weeks back in April, FIX reported its first-quarter results for 2026, starting the year with strong momentum. In Q1, the company delivered an impressive 56.5% year-on-year growth across its consolidated topline, reaching a record $2.87 billion. This growth was primarily driven by a solid 87.5% increase in FIX's electrical segment. Meanwhile, the company's core mechanical segment also grew approximately 47% during the quarter. Yet again, the strong double-digit growth across both segments resulted from continued strength, particularly in the technology sector. FIX's quarterly revenue (Research Wise) While the comp...

Rod Ingamells, the unit commander of the local Marine Rescue NSW team, was one of the first to hop in a rescue vessel. But by the time his team reached the area, the dog had swum nearly 800 metres across the bay to nearby Snapper Island. Continue reading...
