Thesis Summary We rate Comfort Systems USA ( FIX ) a Buy with a 12-month price target of $2,150. We believe that the recent 14% correction offers a good entry point into a secular growth story with fantastic execution with a fortress balance sheet, and we believe that the scenario of a slowdown the market has started to discount is premature. Comparing consensus expectations for FIX to what the Big Tech Capex plans imply for cooling, we believe that they can only mean two things: 1/ A rapid slowdown in data center rollouts; 2/ A sharp drop in FIX's market share. We argue in this article that both are unlikely. If you are nervous about being long on an "AI play" at this point in the cycle should consider a pair trade with a basket of large Tech names to exploit this disconnect between what the market expects for Comfort Systems and what they expect for their clients. Overview of Comfort USA Comfort USA installs, renovates, and maintains two different types of systems, which it reports under two separate segments: 1/ "Mechanical", which includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plus the piping and plumbing required to keep a building cool. That accounts for about 2/3 of group revenues in 2025, and for reasons that will soon be clear it is the one the market focuses on. 2/ the other segment is "electrical construction and engineering", which is more focused on the manufacturing industry and, more broadly, anything outside of residential. 95% of FIX's group revenues is project work and only 5% in recurring service revenues (according to their 10K). XH4D/iStock via Getty Images Comfort USA is thriving thanks to two sources of secular growth, which both excite investors' imaginations. Its "mechanical" business is involved in the construction of data centers where LLMs (large language models) like ChatGPT or Claude are run. Technology customers accounted for 45% of the 2025 revenues of that division, and that number has kept rising since. It was 56% in Q1...

rarrarorro/iStock via Getty Images Introduction AltaGas ( ALA:CA ) ( ATGFF ) is not really well known south of the border of Canada, although the company has extensive operations in the United States, where it operates a natural gas distribution network on the East Coast, including Virginia and Maryland . The company acquired an additional stake in the Mountain Valley Pipeline in 2025. And although this was a rather hefty investment partially funded by a capital increase, I'm convinced this will add tremendous value in the future. AltaGas management was initially planning on selling its stake in the pipeline. But upon learning the impact of the 20% capacity growth through MVP Boost, it was deemed in the company's best interest to retain its stake in this pipeline. Data by YCharts Expect good growth numbers and a moderate sustaining capex I don't want this article to be a boring overview of the Q1 results, as those are not necessarily representative of the full-year performance anyway (as there is a substantial seasonal impact with strong winter quarters and weaker Q2 and Q3). I'd rather like to discuss plans for this year and what this actually means for the company’s common shareholders. The image below provides an excellent summary of what you can expect for this year. The total amount of normalized EBITDA is expected to increase by approximately 8%, while normalized earnings per share will increase by roughly 6%. As Altagas issued new shares in Q4 2025, EPS growth is slightly lower than the EBITDA growth, considering the stronger performance has to be divided over a higher amount of shares. That being said, this year's dividend will increase to C$1.34 per share . Altagas Investor Relations Although this is an infrastructure company, it clearly should not be seen as a dividend investment. After all, the dividend yield will remain below 3% even after the 6% increase for 2026. This means any investor should look at AltaGas from a total return perspective and its abi...

"Just can't wait! Just can't wait for Santa!" Anchiy/E+ via Getty Images I wrote an analysis in March 2025 discussing various avenues to become an owner of SpaceX ( SPCX ) -- proper title Space Exploration Technologies Corp. -- well before anyone knew there would be an IPO this soon. Even back then, there were plenty of opportunities in the public markets, as long as you didn't mind the fact that you were owning SPCX along with a number of other companies curated by the mutual funds and ETFs that had already purchased pre-IPO shares. Who owns SpaceX shares Pre-IPO? Included in this list today are likely: ARK Innovation ETF ( ARKK ) ARK Next Generation Internet ETF ( ARKW ) State Street SPDR S&P Kensho Final Frontiers ETF ( ROKT ) State Street SPDR S&P Kensho Smart Mobility ETF ( HAIL ) Procure Space ETF ( UFO ) Baron First Principles ETF ( RONB ) And among mutual funds, Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund ( FBGRX ) Baron Focused Growth Fund ( BFGFX ) Baron Partners Fund (BPFIX) And finally, the relatively new-back-then ETF I purchased when I published my analysis: the ERShares Private-Public Crossover ETF ( XOVR ). You will note I said the word "likely" above. Not every one of these (available for you to buy today, if you choose) shows SpaceX in their top 10 or even top 25 holdings. Some might hold them and have advised ownership in a quarterly or other report. Others might have since added to or traded away shares, all pre-IPO. Take XOVR, for instance. Different third-party sites I have researched show very different percentages of the total portfolio for SpaceX! Seeking Alpha lists SpaceX at 22.78%, while Stock Analysis lists it at 19.37%. Which is correct? Neither, though it might have been exact as of the date of some other third party recorded it. Good advice, even if you do nothing else as a result of my analysis: "Trust, but verify." If you are going to invest based on some factor that includes an accurate statement of true ownership, always go directly to the ETF...

A national school exam board in India said it has been monitoring and has contained vulnerabilities in its online grading portal for one of the country’s most important school-leaving exams that were first flagged by a teenage cybersecurity researcher. The Central Board of Secondary Education, run by the government and one of India’s main school exam boards, said in an X post that it has been “closely monitoring” weaknesses in the OnMark portal — an online grading website for teachers — after they were flagged publicly. The portal, which was first introduced this year, uploads scanned copies of physical answer book of students for teachers to grade digitally. The controversy stems from complaints by students that their physical answer sheets did not match the digital versions shared by the education board upon request for reevaluation. The incident has sparked outrage on social media platforms, forcing the CBSE and the country’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to address the concerns. In India, millions of students every year sit for the crucial exam that is a gateway for further higher studies. This year around 1.8 million took the exam across the country, according to a statement by the CBSE. The board announced the result of the exams on May 13. “The identified vulnerabilities have been contained, and other exploitable weaknesses are being ruled out,” the board said in the post. Cybersecurity experts from government agencies and top engineering colleges had been deployed over the past several days to strengthen the systems, including moving them to “a more secure set up,” it said. It’s the latest episode to beset India’s education industry that was earlier this month rocked by the annulment of a national exam for medical students after a probe. It has also raised questions about the security of digital exam-marking infrastructure in one of the world’s largest school systems and heightened pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s administration to address...

Sundry Photography/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) reported new clinical trial results showing that its experimental subcutaneous formulation of amivantamab produced durable responses in patients with advanced head and neck cancer whose disease had progressed after immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The data, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting and published simultaneously in the Journal of Clinical Oncology , come as the company seeks U.S. regulatory approval for the treatment in recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. In the Phase 1b/2 OrigAMI-4 study, the treatment achieved a confirmed overall response rate of 42% in previously treated patients. More than one-third of patients who responded experienced complete responses, meaning no detectable evidence of cancer remained. The median duration of response had not yet been reached after a median follow-up of nearly 12 months. The results are important for investors because they could support a label expansion for Johnson & Johnson's amivantamab franchise beyond its current uses in lung cancer. Head and neck cancer remains an area with limited treatment options after standard therapies fail, and a new approval could broaden the drug's commercial opportunity while reinforcing the company's strategy of expanding the medicine into multiple tumor types. Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma is an aggressive cancer that can affect the mouth, throat and voice box. Many patients eventually develop recurrent or metastatic disease despite earlier treatment, and survival rates remain low once the cancer spreads. According to Johnson & Johnson, current treatments for patients who have already received immunotherapy and chemotherapy typically produce response rates below 25%, with complete responses being uncommon. The therapy, marketed as Rybrevant Faspro, combines amivantamab with hyaluronidase and is administered as a subcutaneous injection ra...
