marekuliasz/iStock via Getty Images Performance assessment I've had an initial bullish view on Nebius Group N.V. ( NBIS ), but I have still missed chances to add to existing buy positions: Performance since HA's Last Article on NBIS (Seeking Alpha, HA's Last Article on NBIS) Elevator pitch I am finally ready to nibble a bit more on the buys for Nebius Group ahead of the Q1 FY26 earnings release on 29 April '26 before the market open: Nebius is growing its business with large multi-billion dollar mega deals. NBIS is having no trouble securing capital, but it still needs to secure more funding for capex. NBIS needs to grow like an outlier to justify its valuation. NBIS stock looks like it is breaking out above monthly resistance. In addition to the business model, I think the history and context on the management team for Nebius Group are very important to understand. I suggest reading my first note on the company for this. Nebius is growing its business with large multibillion-dollar megadeals It seems hard to imagine, but Nebius is confident of increasing their annualized run-rate revenue (ARR) by 6.4x this year from $1.25B to $8B: ARR (USD mn) (Company Filings, HA Analysis) I showed in my last article how about $4.3B of this ARR increase in FY26 is already accounted for in deals signed last year. The remainder, ~$3.7B, is expected to come from a broad base of other customers. Now, on top of this, we have a new $27B deal win from Meta ( META ) over 5 years. Updating the TCV and ARR math, I get a run rate of $9.7B: Revenue Visibility from Recent Mega Deals (Company Filings, HA Analysis) Now, the ARR from this new deal won't hit the FY26 financials, as that capacity is due to be delivered in FY27. So the company still needs to secure more contracts to add up its tally to $8B ARR this year. So in my view, the Q1 FY26 print on ARR will be a key number the market will be focusing on. Earnings Call Insights: Chemed Corporation (CHE) Q1 2026 Management view "VITAS performance during the quarter exceeded even the high end of our expectations," said (CEO, President & Director Kevin McNamara), citing that VITAS "was able to add ADC" while "keeping hospice labor costs lower than budgeted" and "continuing to add cushion to the Medicare Cap position in our Florida combined program." (CEO McNamara) highlighted VITAS operating metrics, including: "Admissions at VITAS during the quarter totaled 19,394" and "Hospital admissions as a percent of total admissions for our Florida combined program was 43.8%"; he added that VITAS "add[ed] over $32.5 million to cap cushion in the Florida combined program" and concluded, "We are more confident than ever that VITAS has put the Florida cap issue of 2025 behind us and has returned to a normalized rate of growth." (CEO McNamara) said Roto-Rooter showed early signs of stabilization: "For the first time since the fourth quarter of 2022, residential plumbing and residential sewer and drain revenue both increased during the quarter," driven by "an increase in total leads of 3.3%" and "Paid leads during the first quarter of 2026 increased 18.7%." He also said the shift required Roto-Rooter "to increase marketing spend by almost $3 million in the quarter compared to the first quarter of 2025." (CEO McNamara) said extreme winter weather created a revenue headwind: "We estimate that these service disruptions resulted in a net loss revenue of between $3 million and $4 million during the quarter." He also announced franchise buybacks: "On March 31, 2026, Roto-Rooter purchased the territory and assets of the franchises operating in San Francisco, California, and Fort Worth, Texas," with "approximately $20.6 million" of combined purchase price; he said the acquisitions are "anticipated to add between $5 million and $5.5 million of revenue for the remainder of 2026" and are "immediately accretive to earnings." "VITAS net revenue wa...
