Eoneren Humacyte ( HUMA ) announced on Friday that the company regained the exclusive rights to develop and commercialize its lead product, Symvess, outside the U.S. following an amendment to a 2018 agreement with Fresenius Medical Care ( FMS ). Under the distribution agreement signed on June 25, 2018, Humacyte ( HUMA ) granted Fresenius ( FMS ) ex-U.S. rights to develop and commercialize Symvess, which the FDA approved in 2024 for extremity vascular trauma. The Durham, North Carolina-based biotech said that as part of an amendment added to the agreement on April 21, it has regained those rights from Fresenius ( FMS ). The amended deal allows it to develop, commercialize, and handle all regulatory matters related to Symvess outside the U.S. In exchange, Humacyte ( HUMA ) has agreed to pay the German company low-single-digit royalties on overseas net sales of Symvess following a two-year royalty-free period. The prior terms of the deal in relation to the U.S. rights of Symvess remain unchanged. More on Humacyte, Fresenius Medical Care Humacyte, Inc. (HUMA) Q4 2025 Earnings Call Transcript Humacyte, Inc. While $1 million doesn't buy what it used to, it's still considered the gold standard for wealth creation. And for most people, it's surprisingly achievable. It just takes consistency and discipline. If you're willing to invest regularly on a monthly basis, stick with your plan in the face of market volatility, and avoid the desire to spend that money before you hit the retirement finish line, a million-dollar (or multimillion-dollar) portfolio could very much be in your future. The right mix of investments also helps. Many people would start with a core fund, such as the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF or the Invesco QQQ ETF . Some would stop right there. Others may add in some ancillary satellite positions around one of those. Continue reading

primeimages/E+ via Getty Images First Quarter Market Discussion Howard Marks famously observed that “when most people think about the future, they ignore that the future is a distribution of possibilities.” The first quarter provided a clear illustration of this principle. Early in the period, there were signs that market performance was broadening beyond companies most closely associated with AI. A much broader set of equities outperformed on several up and down market days during January and February, contributing to stronger relative returns in mid-cap indices. This trend reversed in March, as geopolitical tensions and the onset of conflict in Iran reintroduced volatility and prompted a shift toward larger companies, along with energy stocks and companies perceived to be relatively insulated from inflationary pressures. In this environment of rapid rotation and elevated uncertainty, our use of four price targets is particularly relevant. For each investment, we define a base case, an upside scenario, a downside case, and a maximum downside scenario associated with more severe market stress. Given current conditions—where enthusiasm surrounding AI remains elevated and risks are omnipresent, this framework provides a structured way to evaluate how securities are priced on a multi-year basis under different scenarios. Rather than relying on a single forecast, it allows us to assess whether price movements reflect changes in underlying fundamental prospects or short-term sentiment. During the quarter, this distinction was especially important as leadership shifted and valuation disparities widened even further in some cases. We believe that over time, fundamental drivers — and importantly the price paid for those fundamentals—will remain the primary determinants of long-term returns. Beneath the surface, excitement surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) continues to foster an environment of extreme valuation disparity between perceived winners and losers of an AI i...

PM Images/DigitalVision via Getty Images Procter & Gamble's ( PG ) solid fiscal Q3 beat sent shares up 3.3% on Friday, with organic sales of 3% topping estimates and non-GAAP EPS of $1.59 clearing the $1.56 consensus. Despite the strong quarter, the household products giant carries a D valuation grade, placing it firmly in Sell territory relative to its fundamentals, and ranking fifth out of eight stocks on this list. At a D grade, the stock is considered expensive relative to its fundamentals even after Friday's beat, while sector peers Colgate-Palmolive ( CL ) fares even worse with a D-, and Church & Dwight ( CHD ) and WD-40 Company ( WDFC ) both sit at the bottom with F grades, the most overvalued readings on the entire list. The read-through peers that moved higher alongside P&G on Friday, CHD, CLX, and CL, occupy very different positions on the valuation spectrum. At the other end of the scale, Clorox ( CLX ) and Reynolds Consumer Products ( REYN ) stand out as the best-valued names in the sector, both earning B grades — the highest on the list and squarely in Buy territory. Central Garden & Pet ( CENT ) follows with a B-, rounding out the three names where valuation grades suggest the stock is reasonably priced relative to fundamentals. Kimberly-Clark ( KMB ) sits in the middle with a C+, representing a more neutral valuation picture. The valuation grade reflects how expensive a stock is relative to its fundamentals. A grade of B- or above is considered a Buy signal, while D+ or below indicates a Sell, and F represents the most overvalued end of the spectrum. Here is the list: The Clorox Company ( CLX ), Valuation grade: B Reynolds Consumer Products Inc. ( REYN ), Valuation grade: B Central Garden & Pet Company ( CENT ), Valuation grade: B- Kimberly-Clark Corporation ( KMB ), Valuation grade: C+ The Procter & Gamble Company ( PG ), Valuation grade: D Colgate-Palmolive Company ( CL ), Valuation grade: D- Church & Dwight Co., Inc. A US Army soldier was arrested for insider trading after being accused of making prediction-market wagers on the timing of the military's capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Army soldier Gannon Ken Van Dyke made a profit of nearly $410,000 by making bets on Polymarket, and he was indicted on charges of unlawful use of confidential government information for personal gain, theft of nonpublic government information, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and making an unlawful monetary transaction, the Department of Justice announced yesterday . "As alleged in the indictment, Van Dyke participated in the planning and execution of the US military operation to capture Nicolás Maduro, called 'Operation Absolute Resolve,' and Van Dyke used his access to classified information about that operation to personally profit," the DOJ said. After years in the wilderness, the Canadian’s artfully restrained Coachella performances – now known as “Bieberchella” – have seen him elevated to the status of pop elder You could be forgiven for having lost touch with Justin Bieber. The defining teen idol of the 2000s was discovered on YouTube, anointed by R&B stars Usher and Drake and enormously famous by his 16th birthday. But Biebs’ monumental fame as a floppy-haired, baby-faced singer presaged a difficult coming of age in the spotlight and a string of very 2010s controversies. (Who could forget Mally, the pet monkey seized by German customs in Munich in 2013?) In recent years, Bieber has pivoted to more mature R&B, kept a lower profile and focused on his health and family. But his headlining sets at Coachella this month – collectively dubbed “Bieberchella” – have sparked a renewed appreciation for Bieber’s music and his turbulent path to becoming a respected pop elder. Bjoern Wylezich/iStock Editorial via Getty Images As I covered about one year ago , I’m bullish on 3i Group plc ( TGOPY ) as the company’s stake in Action should drive growth for many years ahead. However, its share price has been quite weak since then, dropping by more than 30% and underperforming the overall stock market ( SPY ) by a wide margin, reflecting cyclical issues rather than some fundamental concerns, in my opinion. Article performance (Seeking Alpha) Indeed, this weak share price performance is justified by a de-rating of its shares due to slower growth at its main asset, Action, impacted by softer consumer trends over the past few months across Europe. This has resulted in lower like-for-like (LfL) sales at Action, increasing by 4.9% YoY during 2025 compared to 10.3% YoY in the previous year. This weaker result was driven especially by France, which was a clear laggard to LfL sales growth and generates about one-third of Action’s revenues. LfL sales in France were even negative during a couple of months over the last quarter of 2025 , while they have rebounded to positive territory in the last few weeks of 2025 and during the beginning of 2026. However, considering recent macroeconomic headwinds related to higher fuel prices and the negative impact this has on consumer spending, it’s quite likely that LfL sales growth will remain relatively low during the rest of 2026 even though they have recovered to 4% in the first twelve weeks of 2026 (vs. 1.9% in Q4 2025), being a negative factor for 3i Group’s valuation in the short term. Indeed, while 3i Group was trading at about 1.4x Net Asset Value (NAV) when I last analyzed it back in May 2025, its shares are now trading at a slight discount to NAV. This shows that 3i Group’s shares have de-rated quite significantly over the past few months, leading to its stock trading nowadays at a discount to its historical patterns. Using the price-to-book value as a proxy for valuation , 3i Group is currently trading at...

Mary Salen/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Purely as a business, Newsmax ( NMAX ) has seen unlikely success. In a cable news industry dominated by established networks—including Fox Corporation ( FOX ) ( FOXA ) unit Fox News, which has shaped conservative opinion for decades—Newsmax has managed to expand its reach, build a legitimate advertising business, and become the fifth-most watched network in all of cable. How the company has driven that growth admittedly has sparked some controversy (and a pair of significant legal settlements). But setting politics aside, the financial trajectory of the business has been impressive. The core problem for Newsmax as a stock, however, is that its growth has come in an industry that investors simply, and wisely, don't really want to own. As I've noted in past coverage, sector players like Versant ( VSNT ) and AMC Networks ( AMCX ) have among the lowest earnings multiples in the entire market. The consensus perception is that linear television networks are essentially where terrestrial radio and newspapers sat not that long ago: closer to the beginning than to the end of a long, permanent, secular decline. And so, from a high level, there are basically two ways Newsmax can create value for shareholders. One is to successfully fight secular pressure to capture more value from the linear business than the market might expect. The other is to find a way to create consistent profits outside that business (most obviously in digital/streaming efforts). Even as NMAX stock keeps sliding (a brief, failed, meme-style rally this week aside), and even as top-level results look solid, Newsmax still hasn't shown enough on either front to make the stock an enticing buy. The Affiliate Fee Case for Newsmax Stock Back in August, Newsmax itself highlighted an analyst report from Noble Capital that gave NMAX stock a price target of $23 and an 'Outperform' rating. The analyst's argument in large part was based on the projection that Newsmax could ...
