" Shares have already fallen over 30% from their 2025 peak," Hedgeye's Tobin added. "We think there is at least another 30% drop ahead as consensus estimates, which have largely remained intact, come under pressure and the market continues to find a new and lower multiple regime for the shares." Tobin cautioned that rising obesity rates have “quietly” been ResMed's tailwind volume for two decades. "We think ResMed's real incremental TAM is the overweight and obese cohorts, which happens to be exactly the population GLP-1s are now shrinking," Tobin wrote. ResMed has short interest of 9.4%. The company has shifted from making niche PCIe parts to becoming a core part of the AI supply chain, and it appears to me that most investors haven't caught on to how fast it made the transition. Astera Labs saw wonderful revenue growth of 93% year over year to $308.4 million in the last quarter, with Q2 revenue expected to fall between $355 and $365 million. Adjusted gross margins are currently 76.4% with operating margins at 36.2%, while the balance sheet shows $1.18 billion in cash with no debt. I see a base case target of $340 for Astera, pricing $2.1 billion in FY2027 revenue at 28x EV/NTM. The bull scenario put the stock price at $400 if Scorpio X executes smoothly and optical revenue starts contributing by 2027. On the other hand, if growth gets stunned, then the multiple will probably compress to ~15x, placing the bear price at $125. Beyond cementing Elon Musk’s status as one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, SpaceX’s ( SPCX ) public valuation is expected to become a new benchmark for companies tied to the space economy, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. Market intelligence platform AgentSmyth argues that SpaceX’s listing may challenge the lofty valuations of several publicly traded space companies. Shares of AST SpaceMobile ( ASTS ) and Rocket Lab ( RKLB ) have surged roughly 150% and 290%, respectively, over the past year, leaving both stocks trading at significantly higher revenue multiples than SpaceX’s ( SPCX ) estimated valuation. Based on its IPO pricing, SpaceX ( SPCX ) is valued at roughly $1.8 trillion, or about 35 times projected sales. By comparison, AST SpaceMobile ( ASTS ) trades near 80 times forward revenue while Rocket Lab ( RKLB ) trades close to 60 times.
