Israeli military officials said Iran fired at least four rounds of missiles toward Israel, all intercepted by air defenses with no injuries reported. The exchange marked the most confrontation between the two nations since a U.S.-brokered ceasefire took effect in early April. Iran signals new Strait of Hormuz conditions: The Strait of Hormuz will remain open but under new conditions to be set by Iran and Oman, including a transit fee, Iran’s ambassador to Moscow said Monday. “Of course, this strait will be open , but with new conditions to be determined by the Iranian and Omani authorities,” Ambassador Kazem Jalali told Russian newspaper Izvestia. The ambassador added that fees will be charged for services related to the strait without elaborating on specifics.
