halbergman/E+ via Getty Images Dorman ( DORM ) recently reported earnings and put up a decent set of results. Results in Q1 were largely still impacted by the company's accounting practice of recognizing the highest burden of tariff costs at a mismatch to revenues. Results should improve to be more normalized on a margin basis through the balance of the year. With the concerns around high tariff costs flowing through the income statement now behind them, I still believe the market is discounting DORM, and I see an opportunity for $10 in earnings power next year and a stock that can see upside to $160/share. Reviewing Q1 Earnings Dorman had a clean Q1 earnings report. The company beat by a penny on EPS at $1.57 while beating on the top line by $4.26 million to be up 4.2% y/y. In my earnings preview, Dorman Products: Mispriced Ahead of Q1 Earnings , I had revenue narrowly ahead by about $3 million, so this was largely on par. I had thought there would be much better operating leverage, so the penny beat was somewhat of a disappointment. This was largely the result of tariffs impacting margins, and this quarter was the single highest level of tariff pricing recognized. The company is on FIFO accounting, hence the margin impact. Supplier productivity and other initiatives will drive improved margin performance through the balance of the year, so this is largely the trough. The company was able to reaffirm the full-year guide, seen below. Net sales +7-9% Diluted EPS $7.57-$7.97 Adj. EPS $8.10-$8.50 (-9% to -4%) Tax rate 23.5% In looking at segment performance, results were strongest in heavy duty, which were up 12% y/y, and the margin on this broke positive, up 110bps y/y to 0.8%. Light Duty, despite decent growth in the quarter of +4%, continued to be pressured by tariffs, and they saw a 580bps decline in the margin to 14.1%. Specialty Vehicle was flat on a top line basis y/y, and margins were pressured by 150bps y/y. The light-duty top-line result was strong, and given...

Korea on Monday will be a bundle of joy — zerohedge (@zerohedge) June 5, 2026 ... and that appears to be playing out in early Asian trading, as the Kospi index crashed 8.8% just after the open, taking the key index's decline from its recent peak to nearly 17%, poised to enter a technical correction and on pace for an outright bear market (20% drop from highs) should the local plunge protection team fail to stem the collapse. Memory maker Samsung Electronics fell as much as 11% while peer SK Hynix Inc. slid 10%. The sudden plunge triggered a circuit breaker, halting trading for 20 minutes. The Korea Exchange held an emergency meeting Monday to assess rising volatility and discuss measures to ensure stable market operations. Concerns over overheating in the AI rally combined with uncertainty in the macro environment have taken some steam out of global tech stocks over the past few sessions. Korea is seeing outsized losses after its world-beating gains, with the Kospi still up 77% since the start of the year. As we pointed out most recently last Thursday just as the Kospi hit its all time high, foreign investors have been fleeing , selling more than $10 billion worth of Kospi shares on a net basis last week alone. That’s put pressure on the won , with the currency touching its weakest level against the dollar since March 2009. We ...
