hapabapa/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Shares of Docusign ( DOCU ) fell about 4% premarket on Friday despite fiscal first-quarter results beating estimates as analysts debated annual recurring revenue growth guidance and the company's Intelligent Agreement Management, or IAM, cloud platform. Morgan Stanley kept its Equal-weight rating and $69 price target on the stock. "DOCU showed solid Q1 execution, strong margins/FCF [free cash flow] and steady IAM progress, but the debate is unchanged: IAM traction is improving, yet financial inflection is limited and economics remain too opaque to prove a durable path back to double-digit growth," said analysts led by Josh Baer. The analysts noted that Docusign reported solid results ahead of consensus, though the degree of upside on the topline was modest. The analysts added that IAM is growing rapidly and increasing in mix and management expects these positive trends to continue in fiscal year 2027, with IAM still expected to reach about 18% of ARR by year-end and management again describing IAM as very significantly accretive relative to baseline trends. However, Baer and his team noted that IAM economics remain opaque, with limited visibility into pricing uplift, Annual Contract Value, or ACV, expansion, or how much of IAM growth is truly incremental versus a transition from legacy eSignature. "Net, the bull case of an IAM-driven acceleration to double-digit growth still looks difficult to fully underwrite. If the market continues to view IAM as more supportive of retention and platform durability than a source of durable top-line acceleration, a broader re-rating seems less likely, in our view," said the analysts. BofA maintained its Underperform rating with a $52 price objective. "Docusign delivered in line 1Q27 results and raised its topline rev guidance by the 1Q beat magnitude. Overall, 1Q results did not yield sufficient evidence to change our cautious outlook on shares, as visibility into the timing and magnitude...

Grange Park Opera, West Horsley, Surrey Singers and orchestra toiled admirably with this posthumous world premiere about the Hindu god, complete with inflatable deadly serpent. But the work feels straight from the 19th-century Orientalism playbook The first thing you should know about John Tavener ’s 2005 opera Krishna is that it is actually a “mystical pantomime”. If that very idea provokes even the faintest amusement, this is not the country-house opera for you. The second thing you should know is that by the end of Krishna’s posthumous world premiere at Grange Park Opera, there was warm applause for the musicians. Rightly so. Without Ross Ramgobin ’s intense, poised commitment as the Celestial Narrator, or Eliran Kadussi ’s sweet, flexible countertenor as the adolescent Krishna, or the impeccably lucid, admirably agile sopranos of Rosa Sparks (the child Krishna), Nazan Fikret (his wife Rukmini) and Jennifer Statham and Julia Sitkovetsky (Radha as child and woman respectively), this short work would have felt even more interminable. mohd izzuan CooperCompanies ( COO ) traded higher in extended trading after the medical device maker reported better-than-expected financials for Q2 fiscal 2026 despite a loss for the quarter driven by a litigation charge. On Thursday after the close, the San Ramon, California-based company reported $1.1B in revenue for the quarter, with ~8% YoY growth, exceeding the consensus by $30M, as its subsegments, CooperVision and CooperSurgical, both expanded. CooperVision added $723.5M to the topline while CooperSurgical generated $358.0M, each recording ~8% YoY growth as CooperCompanies ( COO ) marked the tenth consecutive quarterly beat. "We delivered a strong second quarter, achieving record revenue and non-GAAP earnings per share while marking our tenth consecutive quarter of exceeding consensus earnings expectations,” CEO Al White said. While the company’s gross margin held steady at 68%, its operating margin turned negative at 3% compared to 18% in the prior year period, due to a $271.6M litigation charge related to a product recall at CooperSurgical in 2023. However, COO's non-GAAP diluted earnings per share improved ~26% YoY from Q2 FY25 to $1.21, exceeding Street forecasts by $0.12 even as the company swung to a GAAP net loss of $77.9M, mainly due to the litigation-related charge. Looking ahead, CooperCompanies ( COO ) reaffirmed its earnings outlook of $4.58 - $4.66 of non-GAAP diluted EPS for 2026 but revised down its full-year revenue outlook to $4.285B - $4.321B from $4.306B - $4.346B projected three months ago.
