Citing data from its ongoing Phase 1 trial for patients with B-NHL, the cell therapy developer said that LB2501 at the second dose level led to a 100% objective response rate, including an approximately 84% complete response rate at a median follow-up of 2.2 months. In vivo CAR-T cell therapies designed to generate CAR-T cells inside the patient’s body are simpler to manufacture and administer than ex vivo therapies, which require cell manufacturing and lymphodepletion. The readout also indicated no dose-limiting toxicities, serious adverse events, or deaths, according to the company. However, nearly 70% of patients witnessed events categorized as cytokine release syndrome at a severity level of Grade 2 or below. The results obtained on April 1, 2026, from 12 patients with relapsed/refractory B-NHL have been selected for a presentation at the upcoming European Hematology Association 2026 Congress. Rosen, who joined Meta in 2013 when it acquired his analytics startup Onavo, announced the departure to colleagues on Tuesday, according to an internal post reviewed by Bloomberg. Meta has begun a search for his replacement, the post said, and Rosen will stay at the company in the meantime. Rosen has held several different roles during his time at Meta, most recently taking a job integrating artificial intelligence into Meta’s internal business operations alongside his role as chief information security officer. His startup, Onavo, eventually became an important tool for Meta, which used the app to track rivals and understand user behavior on mobile phones. It was shut down in 2019, a year after Apple Inc. said the app violated its App Store terms of service. Rosen’s most prominent position at Meta, though, came after the 2016 US Presidential election when he oversaw Meta’s “integrity” work, which included finding and removing foreign influence campaigns across its various apps. Integrity work also included removing bot accounts and cracking down on scams. “We addressed challenges no one in the industry or world had solved,” Rosen wrote to colleagues about his time at Meta. “ Looking back at well over a decade here, this has been the most defining work of my career.” That integrity work has drawn ire from politicians in the US and beyond, who have argued that Meta’s role around elections is either too strict, or too lenient, depending on their political party.
