The Silver Lake - and Blackstone Inc. -backed company is seeking to complete a first-time share sale as soon as April, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private. An IPO could raise roughly $500 million, one of the people said. Deliberations are ongoing, details such as the size and valuation may change, and more banks could be added to the lineup, they said. Representatives for Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Blackstone and Silver Lake declined to comment. A spokesperson for Entrata didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The Federal Reserve 's decision to hold interest rates steady was good news for Americans holding cash. On Wednesday, the central bank left the federal funds rate between 3.5%-3.75%, after cutting rates by a quarter percentage point in December. "No change to the federal funds rate means borrowing costs on short-term and variable-rate loans are not heading lower yet," said certified financial planner Stephen Kates, a financial analyst at Bankrate. "Likewise, yields on savings products such as high-yield savings accounts and CDs are likely to remain unchanged for now." While rates are down from their highs — money market funds yielded 5.2% back in November 2023 — they are still above where they once languished for decades. For instance, the annualized seven-day yield on the Crane 100 list of the largest taxable money funds is 3.5%, as of Tuesday. That's the lowest level since November 2022 — but rates were below this level for 14 years before then, said Peter Crane, founder of Crane Data, a firm that tracks money markets. Still attractive Importantly, money market funds remain attractive relative to bank savings accounts — which is why so many people have flocked to them, Crane said. TSMC delivered a blowout quarter and strong end to 2025, thanks to strong demand for its cutting-edge technologies and the rapid adoption of AI-based applications. The stock rose 50.7% last year but is now down 3% from its 52-week high of $351.33. Let’s find out if the stock is a good buy now on the dip. Advanced Technologies Drive Q4 Performance In the fourth quarter ended December 2025, TSMC’s revenue increased by 25.5% year-over-year (YoY) to $33.7 billion, driven by strong demand for advanced process technologies. Leading-edge nodes continue to drive TSMC's revenue. In Q4, 3 nm technology accounted for 28% of wafer revenue, with 5 nm and 7 nm accounting for 35% and 14%, respectively. There's a lot of speculative money flowing into AI-related stocks right now, and some of it came out of this stock today. Shares in electrical, electronic, and fiber-optic connector company Amphenol (APH 12.25%) slumped by more than 11% as of 3 p.m. today. The move comes after the release of its fourth-quarter earnings report, and it's more a reflection of the market's thinking about stocks with artificial intelligence (AI) exposure than a "vote" on the company's results. Amphenol earnings and guidance The company has gone from being an unexciting interconnection and industrial cabling company to a favored play on AI-led spending. After all, interconnects are essential for moving power and data. As such, Amphenol's growth has exploded in line with increased AI spending. The company's sales rose a whopping 49% in the fourth quarter, and increased 37% on an organic basis. It's the kind of outcome that typifies the skittishness around investing in the AI theme right now. However, investors should note that the stock is still up by almost double-digits in 2026, even after today's correction.
