I will talk about why I think that their business model has flaws and that they are overvalued at the current price. I will also talk about the lockup period expiring in March and how that might provide some downward pressure. Introduction As usual, I will start by talking about their business model. Streamex's main business is providing a digital asset named GLDY that gives the investor exposure to the upside (downside) of the price of gold while earning an interest yield. STEX advertises a yield of up to 4%. This is done on the Solana blockchain. STEX lends this digital gold to their partner , Monetary Metals who in turn leases it to the commercial businesses. In general, we could say STEX serves as a liquidity provider to Monetary Metals and in return STEX earns a fee on the interest that Monetary Metals receives. Estimating STEX’s potential revenues I tried to find the interest rate that Monetary Metals charges the customer, yet since they are a private company, they don’t publicly disclose this information. Since GLDY token holder would get an advertised yield of 4%, Monetary Metals has to lease (digital) gold for a higher yield. Usually, high quality borrowers have access to prime capital markets, like the London gold market. Such markets are dominated by the large banks, for example London gold market is controlled by the ‘ ’Big four’’ . According to the Discovery Alert, lease rates offered by these big banks are between 2-4% APR . This creates a problem, first large businesses such as national mints, or large jewelry producers would prefer to borrow from well-known financial institutions instead of a small unknown player such as Monetary Metals. AMD GFX13 is presumably for RDNA5.AMD GFX12 is for RDNA4 GPUs and there has also been the GFX12.5 / GFX1250 IP as a possible "RDNA4 refresh" while merged to LLVM Git this morning is an initial GFX13 target.For now this initial AMDGPU GFX13 target is based on the features of GFX12 and GFX1250. Nothing too exciting but it's a start. This commit lays out that initial GFX13 target. We'll see how the AMD GFX13 support evolves by the time of the LLVM 23.1 stable release around late August or September.

(RTTNews) - USA Rare Earth (USAR) announced its entry into a non-binding Letter of Intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce and a collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy. The Department of Commerce's CHIPS Program has provided an LOI covering a total of $1.6 billion, including $277 million in proposed federal funding and $1.3 billion in a proposed senior secured loan under the CHIPS Act. The LOI reflects the strategic importance of USAR's mine-to-magnet platform and its role in closing the rare earth element and critical mineral supply gap for essential industries, including semiconductors, other critical technologies, and advanced manufacturing. Also, the company has raised a common stock PIPE in the amount of $1.5 billion anchored by Inflection Point with participation from large mutual fund complexes. The company noted that the PIPE transaction, together with the proposed U.S. Government funding and loan, would bring the total amount of capital to $3.1 billion. For the year ended December 31, 2025, the company anticipates both operating expenses and operating loss in the range of $56 million and $62 million, and capital expenditures in the range of $37 million and $43 million. In pre-market trading on NasdaqGM, USA Rare Earth shares are up 20.7 percent to $29.92.
