Days after President Trump proposed capping credit card interest rates at 10%, corporate executives warned that the policy would have wide-ranging ramifications and possibly hurt consumers if enacted. "If it happened the way it was described, it would be dramatic," JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said on the company's earnings call. JPMorgan is the nation's top credit card issuer, handling $1.34 billion in purchase volume. The company's CFO, Jeremy Barnum, added that consumers would likely face service changes as a result, particularly credit card users with subprime risk profiles, who may face more financial instability. "People will lose access to credit, like on a very, very extensive and broad basis, especially the people who need it the most, ironically," Barnum said. "And so that's a pretty severely negative consequence for consumers and, frankly, probably also a negative consequence for the economy as a whole right now." It's unclear how Trump could implement a one-year credit card APR limit without legislation from Congress. To that end, on Tuesday, US ‌House Speaker ‌Mike Johnson took up the issue and said he would explore the president's idea. Johnson also acknowledged there could be "unintended consequences" of such a move — a sentiment echoed by Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian in the company's earnings call on Tuesday. 财联社1月26日讯，今日，国航、南航、东航三大航以及山航、厦航、上航等多家航司发布公告称，根据外交部发布的出行提醒，为协助受影响旅客更好安排出行，针对1月26日12时前已购买、旅行日期为3月29日至10月24日的上述航空公司日本航线进出港航班客票，可办理免费退改手续。 国航公告指出，在2026年1月26日12时（含）前购买或换开产生新票号的国航999开头的客票（包括里程奖励客票）；客票未使用行程涉及旅行日期为2026年3月29日（含）至2026年10月24日（含）之间东京、大阪、名古屋、福冈、仙台、广岛、札幌、冲绳进出港的国航实际承运航班和挂CA航班号的代码共享航班；在2026年1月26日0时（含）以后申请客票变更或退票（以取消客票订座时间为准），在客票有效期内，首次变更免收变更手续费，但需收取子舱位差价及淡旺季差价，再次变更需依据客票使用条件办理。在客票有效期内，可以办理未使用航段退票，免收退票手续费。 东航此次公告指出，办理变更至原航班前后3天（含）以内的航班，可免费变更一次。再次变更或变更超出原航班前后3天（含）内的航班，需依据客票使用条件办理。在客票有效期内，可至原购票渠道办理未使用航段非自愿退票，免收退票手续费。 南航此次公告指出，客票变更首次变更至相同航程的南航实际承运航班，免收变更费，如发生票价价差按规定收取。再次变更需依据客票使用条件办理。退票在客票有效期内申请退票，免收退票费。 据悉，2025年10月26日至2026年3月28日为2025/26冬春航季。2026年3月29日至2026年10月24日为2026/27夏秋航季。此次集体公告，意味着日本航线免费退改签政策延长至今年夏秋航季。 多家航司已于2025年11月15日发布日本航线客票处理通知，2025年12月31日前日本进、出港（含经停）的航班免费退改签。2025年12月5日，多家航司再发布调整涉及日本航线客票特殊处置方案的通知，2026年3月28日（含）前出行的涉及日本进港、出港或经停航班可免费退改。

As AI video generation has evolved from a curiosity to a productivity tool embraced by serious creators, the Kling platform developed by China’s Kuaishou has landed firmly in the top tier alongside Google’s Veo and OpenAI’s Sora. Kling has rapidly grown into a meaningful new business line for the company – long a runner-up to TikTok owner ByteDance in China’s short video arena – since its launch in June 2024, reaching about 12 million monthly active users and annual recurring revenue of roughly US$240 million. The figures are hardly surprising at a time when dancing puppies, alien invasions and digital human live streaming hosts are already everyday scroll-past content, and “AI slop” has become a common concern. While Kling’s success is welcome news for Kuaishou, the question is why Kling has become such a hit. It garnered more than US$20 million in revenue in December alone, bringing it to US$140 million for the year, more than double the US$60 million target Kuaishou set internally at the start of 2025. In January, average daily revenue jumped about 30 per cent from a month earlier. That traction has lifted Kuaishou’s long-sluggish Hong Kong shares, which gained 23.3 per cent over the past month to close at HK$78.60 on Monday.
