The Great Wall of China can be seen from space. Those are all myths that many people believe. We can add another one to the list for investors: All artificial intelligence (AI) stocks are expensive. Many AI stocks do indeed trade at premium valuations. However, there are quite a few exceptions. If you have $5,000, here are three of the cheapest AI stocks to buy right now, based on their price-to-earnings-to-growth (PEG) ratios. 1. All three of these AI stocks should have tremendous momentum this year. No one knows for sure what will happen this year in the stock market. Some think there's an artificial intelligence (AI) bubble poised to burst. Others expect the AI boom to continue, largely uninterrupted. Barring a major disruption at the macroeconomic level, I lean solidly in the second camp. My view is that the demand for AI won't wane anytime soon. Which stocks will benefit the most? Again, there's no way to know for sure. However, I predict three AI stocks will be the best performers in 2026. 1. Nvidia Nvidia (NVDA 0.72%) is probably the safest pick to rank among the best-performing AI stocks of the year. I predict that it could be the biggest winner of all for three key reasons. The Indian government proposed fresh steps to boost the nation’s municipal bond market and encourage civic bodies to issue higher value debt as rising urban infrastructure needs weigh on the federal government’s budget. The administration proposed an incentive of 1 billion rupees ($10.9 million) on individual bond sales of more than 10 billion rupees, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her budget speech on Sunday. This proposal will be in addition to the previous system, where the government provided incentives on issuances up to 2 billion rupees. The incentives are aimed at encouraging sales of higher value by cities and towns in the country’s fledgling municipal bond market, where issuers raised 10 billion rupees in 2025, the most in at least nine years, according to data from the market regulator going back to 2017. Despite the increase, the municipal bond market still makes up for less than 1% of total rupee bond sales. The municipal bond market in the United States, for comparison, represents 7% of the overall bond market, according to CareEdge Ratings.
