The company will acquire CanAdelaar, a Netherlands cannabis producer. Cronos maintains a strong balance sheet with no debt. Cronos is undervalued. The stock price is up 27% over the last year. It is down 4.4% since I covered the company last November on Seeking Alpha . I continue my rating of a Hold due to sector uncertainty. Q4-2025 Results Cronos reported record Q4 revenue of $44.5 million, representing a 47% increase YoY and a 22.6% increase QoQ. International sales are driving the increase, as well as Canadian cannabis sales. Cronos revenue was $41.23 million, an increase of 46% YoY, and GrowCo revenue was $3.3 million, an increase of $3.3 million YoY. Canadian sales made up $27.9 million, an increase of 42% YoY. Israel sales made up $11.8 million, an increase of 52%. Sales from other countries made up $4.78 million, an increase of 68% YoY. The company sold $33.74 million in cannabis flower and $10.77 million in cannabis extracts. Gross profit was $16.2 million, an increase of 80% YoY and a 19% increase QoQ. Profit margin was 36.40% versus 29.62% YoY and 37.32% QoQ. The increase was due to higher sales volume and higher sales prices. Since then, research has focused on how to produce graphene. A Kansas State University professor, Christopher Sorensen, invented and patented a system that produces graphene using acetylene to power the process. The original U.S. patent, number US 9,440,857 B2 (see below) with 51 patent claims, can be searched and further reviewed on the U.S Patent and Trade Mark Office website. Company presentation HydroGraph Clean Power ( HGRAF ) acquired the patent rights and is currently working to launch the unit in the market. Since licensing the original patent. Hydrograph has registered additional issued and pending patents, as noted in the company investor presentation . An exhaustive search did not reveal a more efficacious method of producing graphene than the HydroGraph unit. In reality, that is what one does when selling shares for income anyway: they sell a certain amount needed for living and leave the rest alone. The standard advice from Bill Bengen and the Trinity study was that 4% in a conservative portfolio allocation should last in perpetuity. Keep in mind, this 4% rate is supposed to adjust for inflation. It has been criticized as being too low to live on for most, but when you take inflation into the calculus, the dollar amount compounds substantially over time. For instance, take a typical $1,000,000 portfolio withdrawing $40,000 per year. If we assume a 2% inflation rate, what is the dollar amount a decade later? It's $48,759 10 years later and $59,437 20 years later . The Goal The goal here is to back-test some combinations of funds that are a mix of closed-end funds and standard ETFs, aiming for a higher, near 7% yield. This gives retirees an income boost while at the same time trying to maintain the conservative mix and exposure of a typical 60/40 stock/bond portfolio. We want to at least match the compound annual growth rate of a traditional allocation and have about the same volatility measured by the portfolio standard deviation. Pope Leo said aeroplanes should be “carriers of peace” and that aerial bombardments should be banned in his latest condemnation of war amid the US-Israeli conflict with Iran. Source: Finviz Hims & Hers Partnership A few weeks back, Novo Nordisk agreed to a partnership with Hims & Hers Health ( HIMS ) to offer semaglutide medicines through the telehealth platform. Hims had famously recently launched a copycat version of the Wegovy pill, leading to a lawsuit by Novo. The agreement puts the legal battle aside and lets the firms move forward, focusing on helping patients obtain weight-loss drugs. Hims had been a thorn in the side of Novo Nordisk, offering compound versions of the injections. The agreement provides Hims with access to these FDA-approved drugs: Ozempic (semaglutide) injections at 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg Wegovy (semaglutide) tablets 1.5 mg, 4 mg, 9 mg, and 25 mg Wegovy injections at 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, and 2.4 mg, A big key to the partnership is that Wegovy went from shortages in limited doses to a broad array of dosage options. In addition, Hims will still offer compounded versions to the limited number of patients unable to handle a branded dosage for whatever medical reason. Another part is that Wegovy was already in the works of obtaining FDA approvals for different dosages. The biopharma got the 7.2 mg injection approved last week, and it will be branded as Wegovy HD, where patients had an average weight loss of 20.7% over 72 weeks. The Trump administration released TotalEnergies SE from $1 billion in offshore wind leases so the French energy giant can redirect those funds into oil and natural gas investments in the US. Under the agreement, Total is no longer committed to developing wind farms off the coasts of New York, New Jersey and North Carolina, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said Monday at the CERAWeek by S&P Global conference in Houston. In return for the new fossil-energy investments, the US will reimburse TotalEnergies “dollar-for-dollar” up to the amount the company paid for the initial leases, according to an Interior Department statement. President Donald Trump ’s campaign against offshore wind is part of his wider effort to roll back Biden-era climate policies and to champion fossil fuels. His attempts to thwart construction of five wind farms at sea has been undermined by court decisions in recent months. The US deal doesn’t impact the company’s commitment to wind on other nations, he added at the Monday media briefing in Houston. The French company — through its Attentive Energy LLC unit — was awarded a lease to develop more than 3 gigawatts of offshore wind power off New York and New Jersey — enough to provide renewable power to over 1 million homes across the two states. The license granted by the Biden administration in 2022 cost $795 million. Total subsequently sold a 44% stake in Attentive Energy to Macquarie Group Ltd ’s Corio Generation and Rise Light & Power for $420 million. Total was also awarded a 1-gigawatt lease offshore North Carolina for $160 million in 2022. The lease relinquishment discussion were previously reported by the New York Times.
