Far-right National Libertarian party say museum would highlight ‘victims’ of socialist government Far-right lawmakers in Chile have proposed the creation of a “museum of truth” to tell its own version of the years preceding Gen Augusto Pinochet ’s bloody dictatorship – and emphasise the plight of what it calls the victims of Salvador Allende’s socialist government. According to the seven congresspeople from the far-right National Libertarian party who presented the bill, the museum would highlight the “outrage, hunger and humiliation” of Allende’s Popular Unity government. Liftoff is targeted for 2:39 a.m. EDT, with a launch window extending until 4:15 a.m. The mission will deploy three next-generation BlueBird satellites designed to expand AST SpaceMobile's direct-to-device broadband network, which enables voice, data, and video connectivity directly to standard, unmodified smartphones. AST SpaceMobile said the new satellites are expected to deliver nearly double the peak data speeds achieved by its first-generation Block 1 BlueBird satellites, which recently reached download speeds of 98.9 Mbps directly to smartphones. Like the BlueBird 6 satellite currently in orbit, BlueBirds 8, 9, and 10 feature communications arrays spanning approximately 2,400 square feet, making them among the largest commercial communications arrays ever deployed in low Earth orbit. ASTS shares rose +3.4% premarket to $95.2. NYSE Bitcoin is back above the $60,000 mark after falling below that key level for the first time since October 2024 on Friday. The world's largest cryptocurrency has lost about 27% of its value in 2026, and it's now about 50% off its all-time high. Despite the carnage, traders aren't backing away from this space. The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) was among the top 20 most popular tickers in the options market by volume, and two of the top 15 largest options trades by dollar amount were in Strategy and Coinbase on Monday. Each of those trades painted a very different picture of where this market could be heading next. Stock Chart Icon Stock chart icon Bitcoin in 2026 In Michael Saylor's Strategy, one trader sold 29,425 of the 125/180-call diagonals, collecting about $56 million in the process. Specifically, the trader sold the 125-strike calls expiring Aug. 21 and used the proceeds to buy the 180-calls expiring June 18. It's an options strategy that is most profitable if Strategy shares drop and stay below $125 through August expiration. Ideally, you want both calls to expire worthless, allowing you to pocket the full credit. The bitcoin treasury company's recent sales of the flagship crypto – its first in years – has spooked investors in both the company and the broader cryptocurrency world. But one top expert thinks a rebound is likely. "In the face of the onslaught of AI narratives undermining trust of traditional systems, bitcoin remains the soundest money, and the resilience of its proof of work architecture has been demonstrated," said BitMine chairman and FundStrat head of research Tom Lee. That resistance will be the key to any crypto comeback, and to Monday's other marquee crypto trade in Coinbase, where one trader is betting about $21 million on a sizable comeback on the hard-hit exchange stock. This trade...

SpaceX is expected to make history -- and this may come as soon as June 12. The Elon Musk-owned company is planning for what may become the world's biggest initial public offering, an event that could push its valuation to $1.77 trillion. The operation stands out in some ways from typical IPOs. For example, SpaceX has set a fixed price of $135 per share rather than selecting a price range as is generally done at this stage of the process. The technology and industrial giant has also made an effort to make the IPO a big event for retail investors; it's earmarking about 30% of shares for them. In most IPOs, only about 5% to 10% of shares go to the non-professional investor. All of this, along with SpaceX's growth and innovation prospects, clearly appeals to investors, as reports say SpaceX's historic IPO is oversubscribed. So demand for the shares is exceeding supply. If you're aiming to invest in SpaceX, here's what that means for you. Continue reading

Gold prices have fallen sharply since striking an all-time high of $5,594.82 an ounce on January 29, but analysts at Citi suggest the precious metal could have even further to fall. Citi analysts said in a note published on Monday that the price of gold could sink as low as $3,500/oz if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed until the end of the summer — a decline of around 19.7% from the $4357.90/oz seen at 7 a.m. ET on Tuesday. It means an asset commonly thought of as the ultimate safe haven in times of market turmoil appears "incredibly high risk" in the short term, according to the analysts. Citi said that if the critical maritime passage remains effectively closed over the summer months, global gold buying could contract and prices could retrace to levels last seen nine months ago at around $3,500/oz. "The near-term risk skew therefore looks negative and dip buying here makes sense only with a strong view of no re-escalation," the analysts wrote. "Longer term, we maintain a bullish gold view, but we believe it is extremely high-risk in the near-term for anyone without very wide stops and longer-term investment horizons." @GC.1 YTD mountain How gold Comex futures have performed year-to-date. Since the outbreak of the U.S.-Iran war on Feb. 28, gold's reputation as a "safe haven" asset in times of turmoil has come under pressure as some of the drivers behind its ascendance have been called into question. A stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report last week boosted expectations for a year-end interest rate hike, further pressuring gold prices as the prospect of higher interest rates tend to weigh on the non-yielding precious metal. As a result, Citi has downgraded its 3-month price target to $4,000/oz from $4,300/oz. U.S. gold futures for August delivery were trading at $4,352.90/oz on Tuesday morning. "Much of the headwind gold is facing now is due to the Hormuz impasse and high energy prices directly or indirectly, including high real rates and a strong dollar, wea...
