Klaus Vedfelt/DigitalVision via Getty Images Shares of Navan, Inc. ( NAVN ) have been a poor performer since its 2025 IPO, with the stock falling from $25 to ~$8. Navan is a perfect example of a low-profit, high-revenue growth stock using AI to enhance its business, which has come under pressure in recent months as market sentiment has softened. However, on Thursday, shares soared over 40% in a relief rally following better-than-expected quarterly results. Now is a good time to see if this was simply a reaction to oversold conditions or if this rally can continue further. Seeking Alpha Navan is disrupting the corporate travel industry Navan uses an AI-powered platform to help companies’ employees manage corporate travel expenses and make payments all on one platform. This makes it easier for enterprises to manage their overall corporate travel spending, and it also reduces employees’ time in booking their travel, freeing up more of their time to do work on their actual job. In this way, Navan’s value proposition to enterprises is enabling them to both more easily manage their spending and improve employee productivity. It estimates that its offering saves ~15% vs. legacy models with a booking time on average that is less than 10 minutes. The corporate travel industry is a competitive one. There are large, entrenched players like SAP SE's ( SAP ) Concur and American Express Company’s ( AXP ) GBT, among other platforms. Clearly, though, its AI agent approach is working. 90% of bookings are done on the platform, and the average time to book a trip is just 7%. Agent interactions generated the same customer satisfaction score as peers with human agents. This is now generating much better financial results. In the company’s fiscal fourth quarter , Navan earned $0.02, much better than the $0.24 feared loss, as revenue surged 35% to $178 million. Margin improvement is encouraging Most impressively, gross margins expanded 400 bps to 72%, driving a ~42% increase in gross prof...

A Politico report in December revealed that the administration was preparing to go "all in" on accelerating humanoid robotics , with sources saying White House officials were considering an executive order sometime this year. Melania's appearance alongside the Figure 03 robot may be the clearest signal yet that the administration is preparing to embrace robotics as the next natural progression of physical AI. Also on Wednesday, Jefferies analysts published an insightful note titled, "Humanoid Robots Begin to Clock In"... " Given recent advancements in materials science, battery technology and, most importantly, AI/processing, the dream of larger-scale deployments is edging closer to reality ," the analysts wrote. With humanoid robots now entering factory floors, and, as we have also pointed out, soon the battlefield , deployment of these autonomous machines in real-world commercial applications is set to ramp up this year and next. How to profit The analysts provided clients with a company breakdown of the most critical companies supplying components to humanoid robots, outlining where clients may be positioned to get the most exposure as the industry gears up for increased deployments Deployment Begins The deployment timeline for these robots on factory floors is set to ramp this year and next, then accelerate sharply...

Fabrice Coffrini | AFP | Getty Images Novartis is planning to buy U.S.-based biotech Excellergy for up to $2 billion, betting on a next-generation allergy treatment that may prove to work faster and better than anything currently on the market, the Swiss pharmaceutical giant said Friday. The acquisition will add Exl-111, an early-stage drug candidate, to Novartis' existing allergy portfolio. It is the latest bolt-on deal in the company's attempt to offset looming patent expirations. It comes just a week after Novartis announced it is acquiring Synnovation subsidiary Pikavation Therapeutics for up to $3 billion to secure the rights to an experimental breast cancer drug. In February, the company completed the acquisition of Avidity Biosciences , adding three late-stage programs to its neuromuscular pipeline, with potential for several launches before 2030. Excellergy's lead asset remains several years away from hitting the market. Novartis said it will pay the smaller biotech in both upfront and milestone payments, and the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
