Key Points The global artificial intelligence ecosystem is forecast to expand 25-fold during the next seven years. With so much money being plowed into AI development, the investment opportunities in this sector are still huge. These five AI ETFs provide different strategies and exposure to the industry that could be a fit for your portfolio. 10 stocks we like better than Global X Robotics & Artificial Intelligence ETF › According to a recent report by UN Trade & Development (UNCTAD), it expects the global artificial intelligence (AI) market to hit $4.8 trillion by the end of 2033. Given the hundreds of billions of dollars being plowed into AI development right now, it's reasonable to think that the market could end up being even larger. That means that investing in the best AI exchange-traded funds (ETFs) still has plenty of upside potential. Artificial intelligence stocks had a big year in 2025. Even though they've come down somewhat off their highs, two things are still clear: The industry has a lot of growth ahead of it, and there are still opportunities to invest. Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now, when you join Stock Advisor. See the stocks » The ETF marketplace has several good options to choose from that provide varying methods of getting exposure to the sector. Let's break down some of the biggest and best. Global X Robotics & Artificial Intelligence ETF The Global X Robotics & Artificial Intelligence ETF (NASDAQ: BOTZ) has more of an industrial tilt than you will find in other AI ETFs. Its more specific focus on robotics means you get less exposure to the Magnificent Seven stocks and more to global manufacturers. At roughly 10 years old, this fund was one of the first to offer some degree of AI exposure. Although others have come along since then, focused more on the semiconductor and software sides of the industry, the Global X ETF's theme is a bit narrower and, there...

My earliest reading memory The first books I became obsessed with were Enid Blyton’s boarding school stories Malory Towers and St Clare’s. When I was eight, I’d hide them under my pillow and read by the hallway light when I was supposed to be asleep. My favourite book growing up Roald Dahl’s Matilda. I felt woefully misunderstood by the world and longed to be adopted by a very pretty teacher with only cardboard for furniture. I spent a lot of time trying to make a pen move by concentration alone. Sometimes I still try. The book that changed me as a teenager I read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath when I was 16 and it was a shocking and disorienting introduction to mental illness in young women. A couple of years later, when I experienced a serious bout of mental illness, The Bell Jar helped conceptualise what was happening. The book that made me want to be a writer Scoop by Evelyn Waugh is a brilliantly funny satire of war journalism that still rings disturbingly true. It inspired me to write a comedy about a bonkers UN programme in Iraq – which turned into my debut novel, Fundamentally. The book or author I came back to I had Donna Tartt’s The Secret History on my shelf for 10 years without ever reading it. Then I found myself alone and unwell one Christmas and I disappeared into its enchanting, atmospheric world. Sometimes a book is there for you at just the right time. The book I reread In moments of grief, I return to Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking. It is a word-perfect exploration of the insanity brought on by loss, and it helps me feel less alone in the darkest times. I always have a big, cathartic cry when I read it. The book I could never read again Portnoy’s Complaint by Philip Roth. I’m sick to death of reading about hypersexual misogynists obsessed with their own victimhood. I don’t find it clever or interesting. The writer who changed my mind I was 19 when I read The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan and it totally reframed how I thought about t...

Late on Thursday, the world's biggest cryptocurrency fell below $61,000 and hovered just above the $60,000 mark. As of 4:54 a.m. ET on Friday, Bitcoin was recovering slightly, trading at $66,015. A number of factors have contributed to the bitcoin bear market, which began after bitcoin hit a record high above $126,000 in October. Why is bitcoin falling? The sell-off comes amid a continued drop in tech stocks in the U.S. Bitcoin has often been correlated with risk assets like tech stocks in the U.S. and fall when they do. Meanwhile, other assets such as gold and silver have been very volatile , adding to turmoil in the markets. Forced liquidations — when traders' positions are automatically sold as bitcoin hits a set price — continue to push the crypto market lower. On Thursday, there were more than $2 billion worth of long and short positions on crypto that were liquidated, according to Coinglass data. That figure was almost $800 million on Friday. Meanwhile, there are signs that large institutional investors are selling their holdings. Stock Chart Icon Stock chart icon Bitcoin U.S. exchange-traded funds, which purchased 46,000 bitcoin this time last year, are net sellers in 2026, CryptoQuant said. "Institutional investors are really unwinding their cryptocurrency holdings," Markus Thielen, head of research at 10X Research, told CNBC's "Access Middle East." Thielen said that the average price people paid for bitcoin via an ETF is $90,000, and those investors are "materially in losses now." "These large outflows [are] during U.S. trading hours with those investors throwing in the towel," he added. How low can bitcoin go? Bitcoin now sits more than 40% off its all-time high. Key Points A buyback bonanza could boost Enterprise Products Partners' distribution per unit. The midstream leader is also poised for breakout growth in 2027. These 10 stocks could mint the next wave of millionaires › Quite frankly, there isn't much to dislike about Enterprise Products Partners' (NYSE: EPD) distribution. The midstream energy leader offers a forward distribution yield of 6.3%. It has also increased the distribution for 27 consecutive years. That streak is especially impressive considering the challenges the energy sector has faced at times over the last three decades. Enterprise Products Partners just finished a banner year on several fronts, with record cash flow from operations in 2025 and all-time high earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) in the fourth quarter. The pipeline stock is at its highest level in 10 years. Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now, when you join Stock Advisor. See the stocks » And there's more good news for income investors: Enterprise Products Partners' monster payout could get even bigger. A buyback bonanza Despite the solid performance in 2025, there was one fly in the ointment. Enterprise Products Partners' discretionary free cash flow after distributions to its limited partners was a negative $1.6 billion. This negative number stemmed from the midstream company's significant capital investments. However, Enterprise Products Partners expects lower capital expenditures this year. As a result, management projects discretionary cash flow in the ballpark of $1 billion. Co-CEO Randy Fowler said in the fourth-quarterearnings call "In the near term, we expect for our discretionary free cash flow to be split between buybacks and retiring debt." He added that the split could be as high as 60% to unit buybacks and 40% to debt reduction. Stock buybacks (or, in the case of limited partnerships, unit buybacks) are ...

The current situation in England and Wales is akin to generational warfare – Martin Lewis is right when he takes ministers to task As someone who receives close to the maximum student loan from the government each year, I try my best not to think too hard about the crushing financial burden I am going to carry into my postgrad years. After all, for those of us who need a degree to enter their field of employment and don’t have the family finances to sail us through, it doesn’t matter how unfair the system becomes: student loans are a trap we have little choice but to fall into. Ignoring the problem has, however, become impossible over the past week, as a public spat between the financial adviser Martin Lewis and the chancellor, Rachel Reeves , over a hidden detail in November’s budget kicked off a fierce debate about the fairness of our student loans system. Almost 6 million people on plan 2 loans, which were taken out by students from England who started university between September 2012 and July 2023, and students from Wales who have started since September 2012, will now be facing higher repayments after Reeves took the decision to freeze the salary threshold until 2030.
