Mayuree Naree, owned by Bangkok-based Precious Shipping Pcl , was struck on March 11 by Iranian projectiles while transiting the strategic waterway in ballast. Of the 23 crew members on board, 20 were rescued by the Omani navy after abandoning the vessel in a lifeboat. The other three were believed to be trapped in the engine room at the stern, where the ship was hit and a fire broke out. The ship ran aground on an Iranian island last week, and a search team that boarded the vessel couldn’t find the missing crew, Precious Shipping Managing Director Khalid M. Hashim said in a statement on Monday. The families of the crew members have been informed, Hashim said. The company will liaise with relevant parties and consider further appropriate steps, he added. Thailand had sought the help of Iranian and Omani authorities in the search and rescue of the vessel. On Saturday, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said Thailand had secured assurances from Iran allowing its ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as the country grapples with fuel shortages. The debt raising was financed by a consortium of seven banks. According to Reuters, the data center is expected to become operational in the second quarter of 2026, the report added . Mistral AI is a French startup backed by ASML ( ASML ). Mistral chose the site for its first data center in February 2025. Last month, the company unveiled plans for a second facility in Sweden and noted that it would seek to secure 200 megawatts of capacity across Europe by the end of 2027. Mistral did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha. In September 2025, ASML ( ASML ) agreed to invest €1.3B in Mistral AI, giving the chip equipment maker an 11% stake in the French startup. This also marked one of Europe's largest AI deals. With 0.09% in total fund manager fees and around 600K units traded daily, this fund is probably the most efficient and liquid way for Canadian investors to own the broad Canadian bond market in a single trade. This article is less about what ZAG:CA is, since it clearly follows its benchmark, and more about whether now is the right time to hold it at full weight—and right now I don't think that it is. If you hold the fund as a hedge to your equity holdings, fine, but I wouldn't add to this position. If an investor is adamant about holding bonds, just buy a global bond fund. Fund Breakdown ZAG:CA was launched on January 19, 2010, by BMO Asset Management to replicate the FTSE Canada Universe Bond Index, which is a broad overview of Canadian investment-grade fixed income, with a focus on bonds with maturity lengths greater than one year and at least a BBB credit rating. It's an easy-to-understand ETF, but based on the trajectory of the Canadian market, I don't love the options. The peer comparison here is thin; XBB:CA, another bond fund from BlackRock iShares, tracks a near-identical index at a slightly higher 0.10% fee with a lower volume of trades per day. ZAG:CA wins on both cost and liquidity, but that's not really a debate worth having, and the differences are not material. Meanwhile, BND, a global bond fund, has seen some outperformance over the past several months. That said, I'll unpack the Canadian market below a bit more. Seeking Alpha Chart 2026 Outlook The base case for ZAG:CA is more of the same, which may be what investors like, but I expect limited movement on the price and yield, and if anything, more risk to the downside....
