Accordingly, the lowest doses of Ozempic and Wegovy at 0.25 mg will cost ₹ 1,415 ($15.04) for a weekly injection, compared to ₹ 2,200 and ₹ 2,712 previously, the Danish drugmaker said, adding that the average price reductions stand at 23.8% and 27% across doses, respectively. The decision comes after at least six local pharmaceutical companies, including Dr. Reddy's Laboratories ( RDY ), launched off-patent versions of the drug in India this year following the expiry of a key semaglutide patent on Mar. 20. In February, Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) projected up to a 13% decline in its profits this year, partly due to the patent expiration of semaglutide, which it said will pave the way for generic products in certain markets. "We've heard from patients and doctors, and we're acting on that feedback," said Vikrant Shrotriya, managing director of Novo Nordisk India. In November, the company reduced the price of Wegovy by as much as 37% from its launch price in India to fend off competition from its rival Eli Lilly ( LLY ), whose GLP-1 drug Mounjaro became the country's best-selling therapy in October. KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida—The two-day countdown for the launch of NASA's Artemis II mission began Monday evening, with clocks timed for the first of six opportunities in early April to send a crew of four astronauts around the far side of the Moon. Liftoff from Launch Complex 39B at Kennedy Space Center in Florida is scheduled for a two-hour launch window opening at 6:24 pm EDT (22:24 UTC) on Wednesday. NASA has backup launch opportunities each day through Monday, April 6, or else the mission will have to wait until the end of the month. Mission managers said Monday that all systems were looking good for launch this week. The weather forecast is favorable, with an 80 percent chance of acceptable conditions for liftoff Wednesday. The only weather concern at the launch site in Florida is a low chance of rain showers and cloud cover that could present a risk of lightning. But with a two-hour launch window, there should be plenty of time to wait out any scattered storms. Read full article Comments

Army Reviews Helicopter Flights Near Kid Rock's Home, Anti-Trump Protests Authored by Kimberly Hayek via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours), The U.S. Army has opened an administrative review of two AH-64 Apache helicopters that flew low near musician Kid Rock’s home and above an anti-Trump protest in Nashville over the weekend. Two AH-64 Apache attack helicopters conduct flight operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility on Nov. 3, 2025. U.S. Army photo by Spc. Doniel Kennedy, via DVIDS Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, posted a video on X on March 28 showing the helicopters hovering alongside his outdoor swimming pool. In the clips, he claps, salutes, and raises a fist as the aircraft linger nearby before flying off. The 27,000-square-foot hillside mansion he calls the “Southern White House” sits in the Nashville area. Martha Raddatz reports. pic.twitter.com/oGRtBykO4R — Good Morning America (@GMA) March 31, 2026 “An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements,” U.S. Army spokesperson Major Montrell Russell said in a statement sent to media outlets. “Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found. Until the review is complete, there will be no further comment.” The U.S. Army did not immediately return a request for comment. “ God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her,” Rock commented above the video of the helicopters. The same helicopters had flown earlier over a “No Kings” anti-Trump protest in downtown Nashville that day. Demonstrators had gathered to protest President Donald Trump’s policies. Fort Campbell leadership initiated the probe after the videos spread online. No injuries or property damage were reported. The Ar...

Volvo Car AB should start producing its Chinese sister brand’s models at its factories as the auto industry grapples with overcapacity, according to its billionaire owner Li Shufu . There’s potential for closer collaboration between the Swedish carmaker and his other brand Geely , Li said Tuesday, as he underscored the challenges facing manufacturers. “We can see that globally, the overcapacity problem is very serious,” the Volvo and Geely chairman told reporters in Gothenburg, Sweden ahead of the company’s annual meeting. “So now I think the solution for Geely and Volvo is that we should utilize our common capacity to develop.” Carmakers globally are struggling with factories that aren’t running at full capacity. In Europe, manufacturers are suffering from uneven demand for electric vehicles, US tariffs and weak consumer sentiment while Chinese brands have been buffeted by a price war at home. The conflict in the Middle East threatens to hit demand further. Volvo on Monday announced a deal to become the exclusive importer of cars made by Lynk & Co, another Geely brand, in Europe. Volvo’s factories, including a site being built in Slovakia, could accommodate production of additional Geely brands, the Swedish company’s Chief Executive Officer Hakan Samuelsson said at the same event. “We don’t believe the tariffs we have today will go away. We need to live with them and utilize common factories,” he said. Li outlined a measured approach to expanding Geely’s presence in Europe. “Geely is not a great fan of simply producing cars in China and just exporting to Europe — that’s not the way,” he said. “Rather, we believe in localization in Europe.” Geely acquired Volvo from Ford Motor Co. for $1.8 billion in 2010 — th...

Samsung Electronics Co. is the latest company to introduce a blood pressure monitoring feature for wearable devices, underscoring how fitness gadgets are increasingly blurring the lines with medical equipment. The feature, set to launch Wednesday, will allow some Galaxy Watch owners to track their blood pressure from their wrist, the company said in a statement . To use the tool, which will roll out to the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer models, users must download the Samsung Health Monitor app and complete an initial calibration using a third-party blood pressure cuff. That data will establish a baseline measurement, after which recalibration will be required every 28 days to maintain accuracy. Users will be able to view both systolic and diastolic readings in real time. The company noted that the new feature “is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions.” Samsung is one of several consumer tech companies pursuing blood pressure monitoring. Recent versions of Apple Inc. ’s Apple Watch can detect patterns of hypertension, or high blood pressure, but cannot yet provide detailed blood pressure readings without the help of third-party medical devices. The introduction of software features for wearables that are meant to gauge users’ overall health has drawn scrutiny from US regulators, who seek to draw a clearer line between consumer fitness wearables and medical equipment. In July, the Food and Drug Administration asked Whoop Inc. , which makes screenless fitness trackers, to remove the blood pressure tracking feature offered on its highest-end model, claiming it was operating as a medical device without proper authorization. The company refused to disable the tool but continued negotiating with the agency. Since then, the FDA has come out with updated guidelines that support the idea that blood pressure can be used in products marketed as wellness devices. In addition to the new blood pressure tool, Samsung also offers a sleep apnea feature that ...

Lululemon ( LULU ) founder Chip Wilson continues to pound away at the company's current management team. In a new letter issued to shareholders, Wilson asked for support for the campaign to implement board changes and new leadership at the company. Wilson and his allies say Lululemon ( LULU ) has drifted away from the creative, brand-driven company they believe he built, and they want shareholders to support a fresh slate of nominees for the board. The sharp share price decline on the days of the Breezethrough recall and Gte Loe recall were highlighted in the below graphic. Source: Chip Wilson's SEC filing The letter also indicated that the activist group plans to use a universal proxy card, which lets shareholders mix and match candidates from both sides instead of choosing only one full slate. Chip Wilson started the company in the late 1990s after previously building another apparel business called Westbeach. He helped turn Lululemon into a major athletic apparel brand. He served as CEO until 2005, helped take the company public in 2007, and later held other leadership roles before eventually stepping away from any management role in 2015. Since then, he has publicly argued that Lululemon ( LULU ) has become too corporate and lost some of the originality that made it successful, which is why he is leading the broad effort to push for change.
