watthanakul/iStock via Getty Images Investment Thesis Analyzing UiPath ( PATH ) and the root causes of its 30% decline in market value in 2026, we must not confuse volatility with the risk of a loss in the company’s fundamental value. The agency AI solutions sector has undergone a synchronized correction since my first recommendation, behind which lies a massive transformation of PATH. In 2026, agency AI resembles the "Wild West" era, where both IT giants like Microsoft ( MSFT ) and agile startups offering automation with direct code are entering the fray. In this context, PATH is pursuing a strategy of transitioning from a niche RPA player to a comprehensive AI solutions platform that enables the automation of organizations’ business processes. In parallel with high market volatility, the quarterly report from PATH exceeded expectations, starting with revenue and net profit growth and ending with updated forecasts for the coming calendar year. Analysts estimate the RPA market at $28.3 billion, but the company's transition to the agent AI segment allows it to scale its business by dividing the total market pie of $116 billion. This article identifies factors demonstrating PATH’s investment appeal, starting with a huge 40% discount to the median multiples of direct competitors, through to new partnerships and growth in orders for AI-based products. Therefore, despite pressure from new competitors and increased market volatility, I am reaffirming my "Buy" rating. Previous Theses The thesis underlying my previous research on UiPath has been the investment attractiveness of UiPath as an asset with strategic potential stemming from its decision to transition to a platform-based business model featuring AI-powered solutions. The first positive effects for the company, though, will not be seen until Q1 2026 at the earliest, and so the stock is still highly sensitive to market volatility. A result, PATH's market value has declined by 22% from the time of the first recommend...

Ed Yardeni, president of Yardeni Research, declared Monday as the market bottom and is maintaining his year-end S&P 500 ( SP500 ) target of 7,700 despite recent volatility. The veteran market researcher noted that the recent 9% drop in the S&P 500 ( SP500 ) aligned closely with his forecast of a 10% to 15% correction, reinforcing his conviction that the worst is behind investors. In an interview with CNBC, Yardeni explained that geopolitical developments have provided the “exit ramp” that markets were desperately seeking. “I think Monday was the bottom. Yes,” he said, pointing to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent speech and accompanying reports that suggested a resolution to what investors feared could become an endless conflict. The market’s reaction to these developments has been swift and positive. On the question of elevated oil prices ( CL1:COM ), ( CO1:COM ), Yardeni expressed confidence in the U.S. economy’s ability to weather the storm. He noted that as an exporter of oil and gas, the U.S. actually benefits from higher prices, unlike many overseas economies. “One way or another, the oil is going to come out of the Persian Gulf,” he said, citing ongoing discussions between Iran and Oman to coordinate traffic through the strait as evidence that tensions are de-escalating. Technology stocks ( VGT ), ( XLK ), ( IYW ), ( IXN ) have also regained their appeal after valuations dropped to more attractive levels. Yardeni pointed out that price-to-earnings ratios for the Magnificent Seven ( MAGS ), ( MAGX ) fell from 31 to as low as 22 in recent trading sessions. “I think tech got relatively cheap again,” he explained, noting that he moved from an underweight position to market weight on these leading tech names just days ago. The current market environment mirrors previous instances where the postponement of worst-case scenarios fueled significant rallies. Yardeni compared the situation to Liberation Day in April, when Trump’s postponement triggered a 10% market s...

Luigi Mangione's State, Federal Trials Pushed Back Until Fall Authored by Chris Summers via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours), Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, had both his state and federal trials postponed on April 1 until the fall. Luigi Mangione is escorted into Manhattan state court in New York City on Sept. 16, 2025. Seth Wenig/AP Photo Mangione allegedly shot Thompson, 50, on Dec. 4, 2024, as he walked toward a hotel in Manhattan where UnitedHealth Group was holding its annual investor conference. Mangione, 27, has pleaded not guilty, but faces life in prison if he is convicted in either trial. Judge Gregory Carro on Wednesday rescheduled the state trial from June 8 to Sept. 8, acting hours after the judge in the federal case, Margaret Garnett, moved jury selection in that matter from Sept. 8 to Oct. 5. Garnett said her decision was based on Mangione’s state murder trial taking place in June. Mangione’s attorneys asked to postpone the federal case until January or February 2027. Garnett declined, but accepted there may be a further delay. “ Whether we like it or not, we’re at the mercy of the state case ,” Garnett said. Carro did not explain why he was pushing back the state trial, which is expected to take up to six weeks. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at the time of the shooting that it was a “brazen, targeted attack.” Mangione, who is from Maryland, was arrested at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, five days after the shooting. His lawyers have argued that authorities prejudiced him by turning his arrest into a “Marvel movie” spectacle with armed officers parading him up a pier after he was flown to New York City and by publicly declaring their desire to seek the death penalty before he was indicted. Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, arrives at a helicopter pad after being extradited from Pennsylvania, in New York, on Dec. 19, 2024. Public market investors can’t wait to get a piece of the leading AI companies. But first... Three things to know: • OpenAI makes an unusual move to buy tech talk show TBPN • Anthropic exposes source code and unreleased features for Claude Code • Physical Intelligence is in talks to raise $1 billion for its AI models to power real-world robots Going public It’s looking more and more like the “year of the IPO” might actually happen. On Wednesday, my colleagues reported that Elon Musk’s SpaceX — which recently merged with xAI — has confidentially filed for what could be the biggest initial public offering of all time, bringing in as much as $75 billion at valuation of more than $2 trillion. After years of pent-up demand for startup exits and a slumping market for companies going public, the move is stoking investor optimism about a coming AI IPO frenzy. OpenAI and Anthropic are also eyeing a potential public listing as soon as this year, Bloomberg has reported. Both companies have recently raised huge sums of capital: Anthropic brought in $30 billion and OpenAI raised $122 billion in the largest fundraising round of all time. But in the world of AI, where just the computing resources needed to train a single AI model can easily cost over a billion dollars , that cash can evaporate quickly. Public markets open up a wider, more easily accessible source of funding for the AI labs than private financing. At a time when Americans are increasingly skeptical of AI , it can also give everyday people an opportunity to benefit from AI companies’ successes. And going public can force companies to report their finances more transparently. “The single thing that I spend my time on is, how do we make sure consumers and businesses trust us?” OpenAI Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar said in a press briefing on Tuesday. Being a public company “continues to manifest more trust,” she added, “because then, clearly, there’s sunlight on all your financials and so on.” But Friar, who also ...

In this article @LCO.1 Follow your favorite stocks CREATE FREE ACCOUNT watch now VIDEO 3:04 03:04 Energy Aspects' Amrita Sen: Oil prices are likely to have a higher floor The Exchange The spot price for current physical cargoes of Brent crude oil soared Thursday to $141.36, the highest level since the 2008 financial crisis, according to S&P Global, which tracks the data. The spot price reflects the demand for Brent oil that will be delivered in the next 10 to 30 days. The high price for more immediate oil deliveries points to the tightness of physical supply right now due to the huge disruption trigged by the Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz . The price was $32.33 higher than the Brent crude futures contract for June delivery, which closed at $109.03 on Thursday. The futures price is "almost giving a false sense of security that things are not that stressed," said Amrita Sen, founder of Energy Aspects, in an interview with CNBC's "The Exchange." "You are seeing it but the financial market is almost masking the true tightness that everywhere else is showing up," Sen said. The price for a barrel of diesel in Europe is almost $200 per barrel right now, she said. Chevron CEO Mike Wirth warned last week that the futures price is not reflecting the scale of the oil supply disruption to the closure of the Strait. Wirth said the market is trading on "scant information" and "perception." "There are very real, physical manifestations of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz that are working their way around the world and through the system that I don't think are fully priced into the futures curves on oil," Wirth said at the CERAWeek by S&P Global energy conference in Houston on March 23. Donald Trump is preparing to roll out a $1.5 trillion defense budget request on Friday, marking the largest annual increase in military spending since World War II. The proposal is expected to include funding for a $185 billion missile defense initiative known as the “Golden Dome,” along with continued investment in advanced weapons systems such as Lockheed Martin ( LMT ) F-35 fighter jets and naval vessels, Reuters reported, citing a defense official. Shipbuilding is also set to feature prominently, with anticipated funding for Virginia-class submarines produced by General Dynamics and Huntington Ingalls Industries, alongside other maritime priorities. The scale of the request would build on last year’s defense plan, when the administration sought $892.6 billion and later supplemented it with an additional $150 billion, pushing total national security spending past $1 trillion for the first time. While the topline figure for the fiscal year ending September 2027 will be introduced this week, more detailed breakdowns from the Pentagon are expected later in April. Officials had previously weighed structuring the proposal similarly to prior budgets, combining a base national security allocation with a sizable supplemental request. The administration has indicated the funds would support expanded weapons production, aimed at strengthening deterrence in the Indo-Pacific and replenishing stockpiles reduced by ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine. Lawmakers in Congress are expected to scrutinize and debate the proposal in the months ahead.
