Also overnight, despite President Trump's tariff threat against South Korea for "not living up" to a trade deal cemented last year, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index surged above 5,000 for the first time. Recruitment firm SThree Plc said it’s emerging from the worst of a prolonged hiring downturn, with client confidence slowly improving and several key markets returning to growth. The company, which focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics roles, is seeing early signs of improvement, it said in a statement Tuesday. “We’re through the worst now,” Chief Executive Officer Timo Lehne said in an interview, adding that the outlook remains “carefully” optimistic. Shares rose as much as 6.6% in London. SThree returned to growth in markets including the US, Japan, Belgium and Spain, Lehne said, while larger European countries such as Germany and the Netherlands remain critical to a broader rebound. Demand remains weak for engineering-heavy roles, while hiring has picked up in more specialized technology positions. Germany, the company’s biggest market, is expected to benefit from fiscal stimulus measures, though Lehne cautioned that the impact will take time to feed through. “We think 2026 is the year where a good chunk of money should be invested,” he said. A new deal with Nvidia bolsters CoreWeave's long-term case as it heads into its upcoming earnings, according to Deutsche Bank. Analyst Brad Zelnick upgraded the artificial intelligence infrastructure provider to buy from hold. He also raised his target price to $140 from $100, implying upside of 42%. Nvidia on Monday said it had invested $2 billion into CoreWeave, which will help it accelerate its buildout of "5 gigawats of AI factories by 2030," the companies said.
